The rules are simple. Submit a “story” using the format of ONLY text messages. Preferably, use the Fanprose text bubble feature; however, if you’d prefer to format it in another way that is fine as well. Optional but feel free to include:
Multiple conversations (group chat is fair game, but good luck formatting it)
Message stamps for date, time, sent, delivered, etc. (change font to “label” and adjust alignment)
Images (insert image, adjust width and alignment)
Texting grammar/emojis
Any other creative texting feature you can think of
Don’t stress too much over this. You have two weeks and there are no restrictions or idol reservations, so feel free to write any type of story you want. It can be funny, sad, confrontational, anything you can think of or everything all at once! The length is not very long, text format makes even just a couple hundred words feel like a lot. Get creative, use real life texts as inspiration if you wish! The world is your oyster, and I really encourage everyone who is interested to give this a shot — it’s a lot easier than you might expect!
I’m still new to the challenges feature, but I believe when you submit the story it should be done "Unlisted”, and then I think I can reveal the stories at the end. If people want to do an author guessing thing, or a vote for favorite story thing, please let me know and I’ll adjust the challenge to accommodate. Any other feedback or suggestions, just send them my way!

Also, don’t worry about the sign up duration. It was intentionally made short so that you guys can submit as soon as you’re done.
Hey, for logistics reasons we are dropping the “Unlisted” and “Incognito” part of this challenge. Feel free to post publicly. There won’t be any grand author reveal or voting!

This challenge has done a great job of simultaneously getting more people to write, but also pushing everyone’s creativity.

This has to be one of the challenge that I appreciate the most. What the writers did with this format was wonderful and the emotions they invoked just with texts were wonderful

@Shinya Haru I think it’ll be more fun to just jump into it!
@Shinya Haru I wouldn’t get mad at you for it, but I’d recommend trying to stick to only texts! You can include a summary of course and use that as a soft intro if you’d like.
