These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of fanprose.com (the “Service”) operated by Fanprose (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not share your account or allow others to access it.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User-Generated Content

The Service allows you to publish stories, comments, and other content (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. By publishing User Content on the Service, you grant Fanprose a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and cache your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

This license terminates when you delete your User Content or your account, except where copies have been made by other users (e.g., bookmarks or cached pages) or where retention is required by law.

4. Content Responsibilities

You agree that your User Content will:

• Comply with our Content Guidelines
• Not infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights beyond the scope of fair use and transformative fan works
• Not contain illegal material
• Use appropriate ratings and content warnings as described in our Content Guidelines

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use the Service for spam, phishing, or malware distribution
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without permission
• Use automated tools to create accounts or interact with the Service
• Use multiple accounts (including alternate or secondary accounts) to circumvent per-account limits, cooldowns, or other restrictions, or to send gifts, trades, or transfers of digital collectibles (such as photocards) to yourself or between accounts you control.
• Circumvent content moderation or safety features

6. Intellectual Property

Fanprose respects intellectual property rights. Fan fiction published on the Service is transformative work created by users. Fanprose does not claim ownership of source materials or User Content. If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please see our DMCA Policy.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Content Guidelines. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for User Content published by other users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fanprose shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or content.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
