Dear Class, I hope you are doing well! Another day for another series of short chapters dedicated to the rest of the shrines! In this Lecture 6, I will covering the next TWO Shrines from our list, which is the Shrine of Fortune and the Shrine of Beauty (Newly Added)
As always, here is the standard Rate of Offering for your reference:

Shrine of Fortune:
You have the option to offer either {1,2,3,4,5} cards to the Shrine of Fortune and wish for an extra in return! You can simply treat this as an advanced version of the Shrine of Health (See Chapter 5). In which, if you succeed, you will get ALL of the two:
EVERY card you offered (Same Quality, of course)
ONE extra card, following the Rules of the Shrine of Health (See Chapter 5 for reminder)
And as other Shrines introduced in this series, if you fail, you unfortunately need to say goodbye to your lovely photocards! I sampled EVERY attempt to the Shrine of Fortune from the past day, and the approximate rate of success is ~ 50%
However, this number is obviously inflated, as many users would attempt the Shrine of Fortune when they have a Rate Boost (From the Shrine of Power, which will be in the next and final chapter!) OR when they have Quality 10 cards that naturally give them +10% chance in ANY of the shrines.
WARNING:
The success rate boost is calculated by the AVERAGE of ALL cards offered, NOT the sum!!!
That is, if you are thinking that all-in five Quality 10 Card will give you 50% EXTRA chance? Don’t blame me for not reminding you that! It’ll only give you 10% extra. Similarly, offering the following cards:
Quality 1
Quality 8
Quality 9
Will NOT give you +18% of success, but instead, +6% as the average Quality of the three is 6.
EXAMPLE 01:

In this case, this user offered the following cards:
Rare Leeseo 003 (Q1)
Rare Giselle 003 (Q4)
Rare Tiffany 003 (Q1)
Determine the Rarity of the Offering:
Standard math: 3 Rares = 1 Epic.
Hence they received an EXTRA Epic Jiwoo 004 in return! (Side Note: this combo would give them a small +2% chance on top of the base rate of success as the average Quality of those 3 cards offered is 2)
EXAMPLE 02:

In this case, the user offered: Uncommon Chaewon 002 (Quality 10):
Hence, by previous knowledge from Chapter 3:
The Rarity of the Offering = 2 Uncommon (Because Quality 10 cards counts as TWO copies of its original tier!) = 1 Rare.
Hence, the user received an EXTRA Rare Yujin 003 (Quality 1)
Shrine Of Beauty:
This is the newest Shrine being updated to the system just 2 days ago! You can ONLY offer ONE single photocard to the Shrine of Beauty, however, you are allowed to offer EVERY tier besides One-Of-A-Kind cards into this Shrine.
The rule is simple:
If your card quality is between 1 and 9:
Result: You ALWAYS get the SAME card back.
New Quality: It changes to a random number between 1 and 10.
Note: It might get better, worse, or stay exactly as it was.

If your card quality is exactly 10:
Outcome: One of the following three things happens at random:
You get the same Idol, but the Rarity goes UP by one level, if available.
(Edit: PLEASE See In-Line comments for a more rigorous definition! ^_^)

2. You get the same Idol, but the Rarity goes DOWN by one level, if available.

3. You get the SAME card back, but the Quality drops to a number between 1 and 9.

4. You get ANOTHER card of the SAME idol at the SAME Rarity:

NOTICE: If you offer a Secret tier card to the Shrine of Beauty, no matter the Quality, you will always SIMPLY get the card back at a different Quality as Secret has its own tier separated from the standard tiers! Conversely, there is NO way you can obtain Secret cards from the Shrine Of Beauty!
Warning: Beauty is poison… proceed with caution!
As usual, your lovely, caring, sweet Professor An is going to do a live demonstration of me trying out the Shrine of Beauty! Wish me luck, my dear students >3:
