Dear Class, welcome back to another introduction/brief guide on the next TWO shrines!
The reason why I am covering both the Shrine of Fame and the Shrine of Love at the same time is because their mechanic is VERY similar! And those two are the relative “mediocre” one, forgive my word choice here. As there’re relatively smaller amount of Offerings being sacrificed to those two Shrines compared to Health, and the newly added, Shrine Of Beauty.
First of all, let me quickly Copy and Paste the standard Rate of Offerings!

Shrine of Fame:

As stated in the official rule, the Shrine of Fame is your call if you desire a card from a Specific collection.
Each collection contains either a set of card dedicated to one group, for example, aespa 1st Collection:

OR they can be a Limited Seasonal Collection (Only available during that season), for example, Spring 26 Limited Collection:

(Note: The “Secret” tier cards displayed in this picture is NOT obtainable from the Shrine of Fame, they can only be traded OR obtained from the Shrine of Wisdom.)
I sampled EVERY offering from the past 24 Hours, and there’re THREE possible outcomes when you offer 1-5 cards to the Shrine of Fame:
You successfully get ONE card from the collection you desire (Probability Approx. 40%)

You get ONE card, but the God of Pocas decides to trick you and give you a card from ANOTHER collection other than the you wished for.
WARNING: Please be aware that this will happen 100 % OF THE TIME, IF you wish for a special collection but the cards you offer does NOT meet the minimal Rarity.
For example:

In this example, the user attempted to wish for a card from the Spring 26 Collection. BUT! Notice that the LOWEST rarity in the Spring 26 Collection is Epic, which is 2 Tiers higher than the cards offered (In this case, an Uncommon Sooyoung 002). Thus, you will NOT get any card from the Spring 26 Collection!
Fortunately, the God of Pocas is not that ruthless: when the Rarity requirement is NOT met, this offering to the Shrine of Fame automatically changes into a normal offering to the Shrine of Health (See last chapter for the rules). And that’s why in this case, this user eventually received an Uncommon Gaeul 002 in return.
3.The final possible outcome is that you unfortunately fail the offering (approx. Probability of 50%!), and the cards you sacrificed are gone forever. Rest in peace.
The Shrine of Love:
The Shrine of Love is VERY similar in terms of the mechanics compared to the Shrine of Fame. The KEY difference is that instead of wishing for a COLLECTION, you wish for a specific IDOL of your choice. (And yes, Jollibee is an idol on Fanprose). The success rate is speculated to be around 35-40% (sampled from the past 48 hours), which is MORE risky compared to the Shrine of Fame!
Let’s dive straight into ONE example that explains it all:
EXAMPLE 4:

In this case, the user asked for a Wonyoung card from the God of Pocas. And they offered the following 5 cards:
Rare Hanni 003
Common Kotone 001
Rare Lia 003
Common Joy 001
Common Shuhua 001
Let’s break down what happened here!
First, determine the RARITY of the offering:
2 Rares + 3 Common = 2 Rares + 1 Uncommon + 1 Common = 2.67 Rares < 1 Epic (which requires 3 Rares)
Hence the rarity of the offering is ROUNDED DOWN! That’s why the user got a Rare Wonyoung 003 in the end instead of Wonyoung 004 (Epic). In addition, this makes the offering a “Same-Tier” offering → Quality Protection is triggered → The output Rare Wonyoung is guaranteed to have quality AT LEAST 8 (As the highest quality from the offerings is Joy 001 with Quality 8), which is indeed the case. More information can be found from the previous chapter.
So, my good boys and girls: that’s it for the short chapter covering the Shrine of Love and Fame! Please gamble responsibly and Prof. An wish you the best of luck to pull the Photocard of your m… bias! Next class, I’ll be talking about the Shrine of Fortune and the Shrine of Beauty (Newest Shrine!) and the Shrine of Fortune.
Until then, please stop by my office if you have any questions. Or? If you just wanna… hang out? You’re also welcome. See you around, my lovely students >3
