Crack-y Fanfic Challenge

Sometimes we all have stress in life. From school? From work? You name it. So dimp1ez is here to host the first crack challenge as a chance to take a break from life and have a moment of unseriousness!

Submit your best Crack fic, for an opportunity to win a prize! The rules are as follows:

• The work has to be an one-shot, OR a single chapter from a series.

• The work CANNOT be simply brain-rots or memes, it HAS to be an actual fic involving plots (or BFH sprinkled in with crack elements, lol).

• Both SFW/NSFW styles are allowed.

• And there is one good thing about this challenge, as AI’s don’t have brains, they cannot be brain-rotted! So I am not too concerned with the LLM usage in this challenge, as I am always a strong advocate for original, human-written contents in our community. But still, AI-generated fics will receive a side-eye from me… not that I’ll kick you out or something…

• Fanprose content guidelines are applied as usual.

• Your work does NOT need to be newly written for this challenge, old work is fine!

• You have until May 5th, 7:00 AM UTC to submit your work!

• When the challenge is over, a poll will be created for a winner!

• Finally, please have fun! This is NOT mean to be a serious competition, but rather a way to encourage new people to start writing! I can definitely understand the nerves when you are thinking if you should start writing fanfics. But maybe you’re afraid of your work being naive/immature/shallow compared to the veteran authors, but hey, that’s DEFINITELY fine! We were all at this point before. (Context, though I’m still not a good writer, I only started 3 months ago and right now I’m having so much fun writing!) So maybe use this prompt to get started?
