Ever since Jimin and Minjeong agreed to stop with the requests and start anew as friends, they had been hanging out outside a lot more than before. And currently, they were strolling around Jimin’s favorite bookstore’s alleys.
In fact, the raven had one goal in mind. To find even more shark picture books!
And poor sweet Minjeong, who knows nothing about those sea creatures, was just mindlessly tagging along, seemingly finding her own interest in a bunch of puppies’ picture books.
“Sorry…” sheepishly said Jimin as they both exited the store. “We finally got to hang out just the two of us, but I only made you go where I wanted to go.”
Minjeong lightly shook her head, offering a small reassuring smile to the raven. “It’s okay Jimin. Where you want to go is where I want to go. Besides, I had fun with you today.”
Hearing this, Jimin beamed, successfully relieved. “Great! If it’s not too much to ask then, can we go check some stores out? I need a new swimsuit!”
The raven softly wrapped her hand around Minjeong’s wrist, before pulling her towards the nearest swimsuit shop. In fact, summer break was starting soon, and Jimin dreamt of going to the beach! Preferably with the rest of their group too, it could be really fun.
“Say Minjeong,” she asked, as they both walked towards the other side of the mall. “Have you ever been to the beach?”
“Nope.”
Jimin dramatically gasped. “What?! We need to change this right now!” She swiftly grabbed her phone, and quickly typed out a message in their friends’ group chat. “Let’s plan a day out at the beach!”
Minjeong appeared a bit surprised, but decided to settle for a simple nod, trying to hide the soft blush on her cheeks. She knows how thoughtful Jimin can be, but whenever she’s on the receiving hand of this unlimited kindness, she can’t help but to feel… embarrassed about it. In a shy and blushy way.
The two girls eventually arrived at the store, and quietly strolled inside.
“Should you pick this?” Minjeong practically shoved an awfully revealing crimson red two-piece swimsuit in Jimin’s face. It looked similar to those female lifeguards wear, except that it was a more… sultry model.
Jimin’s cheeks immediately reddened. “Absolutely not!!”
Minjeong audibly laughed at the raven’s exaggerated reaction, clearly teasing her. Jimin could only pout and lightly shove the blonde’s shoulder, who couldn’t stop herself from giggling like a maniac.
“You’re such a tease…” groaned the raven, who couldn’t fight her own lips from stretching into a small smile.
The two girls kept on strolling around the shop, giving each other some swimsuits to try on. And around thirty minutes in there, they both emerged from the shop, their arms full with shopping bags. Well at least, Jimin’s were. But for her defense, she needed multiple swimsuits, as well as a new towel, and cute summer clothes.
However, Minjeong only held one small bag close to her chest. Jimin thinks that she bought a swimsuit as well, but the blonde absolutely refused to show her. And who was Jimin to put her nose in matters that aren’t hers?
“Phew, I’m beat!” she exclaimed, as they finally exited the mall. “I haven’t shopped this much in such a long time!”
Minjeong offered her a small smile, before grabbing her phone to check the time. “Oh, I should get going now.”
“Oh really?” Jimin tried her hardest to not sound too disappointed.
Minjeong slowly nodded. “Yup. I need to go buy some food for dinner… I have nothing at home right now.”
This was Jimin’s chance!
“I-If you want to… you can come over and maybe… eat dinner at my house? Only if you want to of course!”
Minjeong’s eyes widened, and a small blush immediately painted her pale cheeks. “At your… house?”
