Two weeks later at NA PD-Nim House
A couple of months ago, PD-nim had a discussion with Starship about bringing Yujin onto the infamous TV show Jinny’s Kitchen. The show is a reality series where a group of celebrities travel abroad to run a restaurant. It serves as the successor to Youn’s Kitchen and has already aired two successful seasons, one set in Bacalar, Mexico, and the other in Reykjavik, Iceland.
In season 1, BTS’s V was part of the cast, and they operated a Korean snack restaurant. For season 2, actor Go Min-si replaced V (as he enlisted in the military), and the team ran a Ttukbaegi restaurant. Now, for season 3, PD-nim has ambitious plans to make it the grand finale of Jinny’s Kitchen. As part of this vision, he not only aims to invite Yujin but also other notable stars to elevate the season’s impact.
Now in the middle of September, the sun is still shining brightly, but with a gentle breeze flowing through the air, keeping the warmth in check. Inside the familiar home, the infamous dinner table, well known to fans of Jinny’s Kitchen and other shows produced by Na PD-nim, is carefully set with fresh hot food and plates. All the camera crew and staff are stationed in the hallway in front of the table talking to NA PD-nim who is sitting at the table waiting.
DING
The sound of the elevator echoes through the house as its doors slide open. Outsteps the owner of Jinny’s Kitchen, Lee Seojin, his expression as sharp as ever, followed closely by the warm and cheerful director/actress, Jung Yumi. They greet the camera crew with ease, their dynamic instantly bringing back memories of past seasons.
As they approached the table and settled into their seats, a curious detail caught their attention. There were more chairs than usual. They exchanged glances, their curiosity piqued, wondering what Na PD-nim had up his sleeve this time.
“There are more chairs than usual,” Seojin remarks, his brow raised.
“How many more people are coming?” Yumi asked, equally curious.
“Ah, very observant,” Na Pd-nim responds with a smile. “You’ll find out when Woo-shik and Seojoon arrive.”
As if on cue, Seojoon and Woo-shik step out of the elevator and join the group at the table.
“Ah, it’s that time of the year already, huh? I feel like it was just yesterday when we went to Iceland,” Seojoon said with a nostalgic smile.
“I can still feel the chills in my bones,” Woo-shik adds, earning a round of small laughs from the others.
“haha, At least this time you have more interns to boss around.” Laughs Yumi
“Okay, now that all 4 of you have arrived, I’d like to officially introduce Jinny’s Kitchen Season 3,” Na Pd-nim announces, prompting a round of applause from everyone.
“That being said, Season 3 will be the final season of Jinny’s Kitchen. Do you guys have anything to say about that?” he asked, his eyes scanning the group.
“Well, it’s been a long journey since the first episode of Youn’s Kitchen and Jinny’s Kitchen. We’ve had a lot of fun and made so many great memories traveling and filming our time running the restaurant. I hope the viewers will enjoy this last season just as much as we’ve enjoyed making it,” Seojin said, with the others nodding in agreement.
“Thank you for your words, Aish. I didn't know you could say some kind words, Hyung.” Teases Na Pd-nim. “Now, as you know, we had Tae-Hyung and Go Min-Si in Seasons 1 and 2. For Season 3, we’ll be bringing in even more guests to travel with us.”
“We’re really going all out, huh?” Seojoon commented, his voice tinged with excitement.
Na Pd-nim smiles slyly. "You’ll see soon enough. It’s going to be one unforgettable season."
"It means more people I can boss around," Woo-shik joked, a mischievous grin on his face.
"Ya, remember, you were an intern so don’t do too much," Yumi teases, raising an eyebrow.
"I remember the suffering I endured," Woo-shik said with a dramatic shiver, earning giggles from the others.
A staff member whispers in Na Pd-nim’s ear. "Oh, It seems like they’re all here. How about we bring them in one by one?" Na Pd-nim suggests with a smirk.
"For our first guest, we have none other than IVE's An Yujin. Welcome!" Na Pd-nim announced, his voice full of excitement.
Yujin enters the dining room with a bright puppy smile, bowing to the actors seated at the table. The others stood up to greet her, everyone except Seojin, who remained seated as they applauded as she walked in.
"Welcome, Yujin-ah! Have you been doing well?" PD-nim asks, his tone warm and friendly.
"I’ve been doing well, thank you. I’m a huge fan of everyone here, so I’m a bit nervous being with such amazing actors," admits Yujin, her voice soft.
"I’m a big fan of IVE! Heya, heya, heya!" Woo-shik chimes in, singing a bit of one of IVE's songs, which earned him a disappointed look from Seojin and facepalms from Yumi and Na Pd-nim. Yujin could only laugh at Woo-shik’s antics.
“It seems like you have a big fan huh Yujin-ah.” Smiles PD-Nim
“Haha, I’m grateful that you like us. I hope you continue to support us.” Smiles Yujin sitting down beside Yumi, greeting her.
“Hello.”
"Alright, moving on," Na Pd-nim continued with a grin. "Next, we have the female lead of the hit drama Twinkling Watermelon, Shin Eunseo!"
Walking in from the hallway is Eunseo wearing a white tank top, blue jeans and a large beige blazer.
“Hello Sunbae-nim.” Greets Eunseo
The group claps as Eunseo bows respectfully before taking her seat beside Yujin.
"Eunseo-shi, it’s great to have you here. Have you met anyone yet?" Na Pd-nim asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Unfortunately, no. This is my first time meeting everyone, so I’m a bit nervous but mainly excited! I hope we’ll all get along well," Eunseo replies with a bright smile.
"What made you want to join?" Na Pd-nim asked, eager to hear her answer.
"I’ve been a fan of Youn’s Kitchen, and I’ve always wanted the opportunity to travel and learn about different cultures. So, when I heard about this chance, I immediately agreed to it," Eunseo explains.
"Really? That’s amazing! It’s been so long since Youn’s Kitchen.” Pd-nim said, clearly impressed.
“I watched every episode during lunch in high school.” Said Eunseo causing them to flinch.
“High school? When did we film it.” Asks Seojoon looking at Yumi
“Season 1 was in 2017 and Season 2 was in 2018. How old were you?” questions Yumi
“hmm, 15?” answers Eunseo after a thought. This caused all of them but Yujin to sigh in sadness remembering how old they are.
“I was 14” said Yujin mischievously, adding more salt to the pile causing them to groan loudly.
"Anyway, next we have the leader of the mixed K-pop group, BM!" Na Pd-nim announced, and the room erupted into applause.
BM struts into the dining room, wearing a swag-filled outfit. He gives a respectful bow to everyone, walking around the table to shake hands with each cast member before taking his seat beside Woo-shik.
"Good to see you all!" BM said with a grin, settling into his chair. “You all look just as amazing as I imagined. I’m excited to be here, and I’m ready to eat some good food."
Woo-shik leans over to him with a playful smirk. "I hope you’re not going to steal my spotlight, BM. I’ve got the swag game covered here."
BM chuckles, shaking his head. "Oh, I’m just here for the food, Woo-shik-shi. The spotlight’s all yours."
“Are you a foreigner?” Asks Seojin, seeing his interesting personality.
“Yes, I was born in California, and I moved to Korea in 2011.” Answers BM, causing Seojin to nod in understanding.
“Hyung-nim, is there a problem?” questions PD-nim causing BM to subconsciously gulp.
“Ani, Ani, it's just that the way he portrays himself seems more western, he is a lot more outgoing.” Answers Seojin.
"Ok, now to finish off our crew, we have 2 VERY special people joining us on our journey. Please welcome the brother-sister duo, Lesserafim Hong Eunchae, and Sentinels’ Hong Jin-woo!" Na Pd-nim said, building excitement as the final two guests were about to enter.
“EHH!” Yujin screams, springing to her feet in surprise as Jin-woo walks into the room with Eunchae beside him. Her eyes widens, and her mouth hangs open, completely caught off guard.
Jin-woo is dressed sharply, walking with confidence in a black and red Sentinel Champions jacket. The jacket fits snugly, emphasizing his broad shoulders, pairing it with a matching black Sentinels pants featuring the red Sentinel logo on the thigh. Completing the look with a sleek gold chain that glints against the plain black t-shirt he’s wearing underneath.

Eunchae, walks gracefully beside him, is dressed in a crisp white blouse with puffed sleeves that add a touch of sophistication, layered beneath a tailored black button-up vest. The vest cinches her waist, accentuating her silhouette, while a plaid skirt completes the ensemble, giving her a refined yet youthful charm. Her long, dark hair cascades naturally over her shoulders, softening her overall appearance while complementing the outfit’s classic elegance.

Yujin’s jaw drops, her voice trembling with disbelief as she stammers, “W-What are you two doing here?”
“Who is he?” Whispers Seojin to Seojoon, not knowing who he is.
“Uhm, I don’t know.” Whispers Seojoon not familiar with Jin-woo
“He is a very famous Pro gamer from America, and I heard he graduated from MIT at 17.” answers Yumi who surprisingly knew who he was.
“Oh, a genius then.” Answered Seojin in surprise.
“What’s up bro, I loved ‘Lowkey’.” Said Jin-woo dabbing BM up.
“Thanks bro, congrats on winning champs.” Replies BM
Looking forward, Jin-woo meets Yujin eyes and gives a small smirk before sitting down with Eunchae beside Eunseo. Before she could say anything, Pd-nim speaks
“Welcome Eunchae-shi and Jin-woo-shi, now that we have everyone here I shall reveal where we are going this time.” Says Pd-nim catching the attention of everyone.
“As everyone knows, we’ve been to Bacalar, and Reykjavik. This time we will be going toooooo Madrid, Spain!” says PD-nim, earning loud claps and ‘whoo-hoo’ by everyone else with big smiles on their faces.
“Didn’t we go to Spain?” questions Seojin
“Nae, we went with Youn sajang-nim to Tenerife.” Answers Seojoon remembering the first time on the show working as a waiter serving bibimbap.
“I also went to Madrid and Barcelona for Grandpa over flower.” Said Seojin, remembering the time he was the luggage boy for his seniors.
“Correct, we went to Spain as Youn’s Kitchen as a Bibimbap restaurant, but this time it’ll be Madrid, the capital of Spain. Instead of a Bibimbap restaurant we will be operating a Korean BBQ restaurant and Bar.” Explains PD-nim
“BBQ Restaurant? Should be easier right?” questions Eunchae
“It depends; it should be harder running a KBBQ restaurant as there is more equipment to purchase but it’ll be easier for the kitchen because they just need to prepare the meat and focus on the dishes on the a la carte menu during service.” Explains Jin-woo
“Also, the waiters will have to deal with the grill changes and there’ll be a lot more dishes to wash.” Continues Yujin after giving it some thought.
“Don’t forget the citizens of Spain love their wine so the bar will also be busy.” Said Yumi
“I feel bad for the dish washer.” Comments Eunseo with a small smile.
“Hopefully, the dishwasher works this time.” Said Seojoon remembering the last time they didn’t know how to use the dishwasher, so they washed it manually.
“Now unlike previous years, since we have 3 idols here, we will provide special entertainment and performances which the idols have already prepared for.” Reveals Pd-nim
A murmur of excitement runs through the group as they digest the news.
“Now, Jin-woo-shi,Yujin-ah, Eunchae-shi, Eunseo-shi, BM-shi and Woo-shik have you all been to Spain before?” PD-nim asks, looking at the people he named.
“I’ve been to Madrid before for a tournament,” Jin-woo raises his hand, smiling. “The food, the atmosphere, it’s beautiful.”
“Me too, our group was there for a concert. The people there were amazing.” Said Yujin
“Oh, that’s great! Now the question is, has anyone experience working at a BBQ restaurant?” PD-nim asks, eyes scanning the group.
There’s a slight pause before BM raises his hand confidently, grinning.
“I have!” BM says chuckling. “Back in my hometown, I worked at a Korean BBQ spot for a bit as a waiter. It was tiring but I needed the money to support my family.”
“That’s awesome,” says the PD, nodding. “Maybe we’ll put BM in charge of the front of the house.”
“Please do,” BM laughs, winking. “I’m a train professional.”
“His good looks will attract everyone.” Laughs Jin-woo
“You too bro! You look handsome as hell man.” Says BM
The group laughs and playfully cheers him on. As the mood lightens, the PD adds, “Alright, that’ll be all so remember everyone will meet with the KBBQ Chef to discuss what you’ll need to learn and prepare for our trip based on your schedule. Our next full meeting will be at the airport. See you guys there.”
As the group begins to gather their things, Yujin notices Jin-woo and Eunchae standing near the doorway, deep in conversation. She walks over to them, her curiosity piqued.
“Hey, Jin-woo and Eunchae.” Yujin begins, catching their attention.
“How did you both end up joining this program? And Jin-woo, why didn’t you tell me?”
Eunchae raises an eyebrow, equally curious, because she wasn’t aware of it until he showed up to pick her up from the dorm. Jin-woo takes a moment before answering, his expression thoughtful.
“I guess it’s a mix of timing and opportunity,” he says, scratching the back of his neck. “I’ve always been interested in variety shows, and I’ve been a fan of Youn’s kitchen as well. I had a buddy in the industry who heard about the idea for season 3 and put my name in. When PD-nim asked me to join, I immediately hopped in and suggested Eunchae as well. Though her company took a bit of convincing.”
Yujin looks at him suspiciously, not knowing what to say before letting it go. They all left the house to go their separate ways.
Timeskip 2 weeks - Le Sserafim Dorm
“Wake up. Eunchae-ah.” Whispers a voice
Spread out on the bed is Eunchae fully fast asleep without care in the world. Sitting on her bed trying to wake her up was none other than Sakura. Today is the day when they leave for Madrid, it's currently 6 am and their flight is at 9 am.
“Eunchae-ah wake up. You need to catch the flight. I already have your bags ready by the door.” Whispers Sakura
Reluctantly, Eunchae sits up, and hugs Sakura.
“hmm, Thank you Unnie.” Mumbles Eunchae before sitting up and stretches her arm heading into the washroom.
“Hurry up, your brother is almost here to pick you up.” Reminds Sakura as she gets up to leave.
“Naeee.” Answers Eunchae as she brushes her teeth.
“I hate sitting in a plane. Hmm should I bring some ramen in my bag hmm.”
Finishing her morning routine and changing into some comfortable clothing, she arrives at the living room to everyone sitting on the couch half asleep except for one person.
“Yunjin-unnie, why are you wearing that?” said Eunchae with a weird glance because standing there is Yunjin with a red nightgown that She has never seen her wear before. She didn’t even have that last night.
“Oh well I found this in my closet last night, so I tried it on to see how I look. I guess I fell asleep wearing it.” Explains Yunjin totally not suspicious at all
Rolling their eyes, everyone knew that it was a total lie. She wanted to wear it because someone was coming over.
Ding Dong
Hearing the doorbell ring, Yunjin speed walks towards the door, checking the camera and she sees that it is Jin-woo. Making sure she looks good, she opens the door wide showing herself.
“Good Morning Jin-woo.” Yunjin greets Jin-woo in a sultry tone
“Good Morning to you Yunjin, looking good aren’t you.” Says Jin-woo looking at the red nightgown
“Thanks, I found this last night and decided to wear it.” Replies Yunjin showing it off with her free hand.
“Yea well it definitely looks good on you. It’ll make everyone jealous.” Says Jin-woo with a grin.
“Alright shameless, Eunchae needs to go so here’s her luggage and lets say goodbye.” Interrupts Chaewon as everyone else walks towards the door.
Jin-woo grabs large suitcase by the door and rolls it out into the hallway as Eunchae says her goodbyes.
“Bye Unnies.” Waves Eunchae to her unnies
“Bye Eunchae.” Replies the others
“Make sure to get her back in one piece.” Told Sakura to Jin-woo
“I will, I will. She’s my sister after all.” Answers Jin-woo
“Call me if you’re feeling lonely, I can cure your boredom.” Says a smirking Yunjin
“Cure my boredom huh, how’ll you do that?” asks Jin-woo with an equaling smirk
“You’ll see it when you call.” Replies Yunjin
“Okay now, make sure to call us once you’re there, Eunchae.” Asks Chaewon
Nodding her head, they both walk down the hallway and into the elevator. Waiting in the elevator, Eunchae asks Jin-woo
“Oppa, What do you think of Yunjin-unnie?” Asked Eunchae
“Hmm she’s cool.” Replies Jin-woo
“That’s it?” ask Eunchae
“Wel, she is funny, outgoing and pretty.” Answers Jin-woo
“Hmm would you date her?” ask Eunchae
After a small pause he answers “Maybe. Why are you asking.”
“Nothing just asking.” Answers Eunchae
Jin-woo stays silent fully knowing the answer to the question, although Yunjin is an amazing woman both physically and personality wise, he has his own reason for not doing anything about it. Maybe in another reality it’ll be different.
Arriving in the basement parking lot, Eunchae follows Jin-woo to his car. As they approach, she freezes, her gaze locked on the sleek vehicle in front of them.
“Oppa, when did you get this car??? Are you rich?” Eunchae asks in awe, clearly impressed by the beauty of the car.
“Nah, I’m not rich, but this is my car. Come on, get in,” Jin-woo replies with a grin, closing the trunk before heading to the driver’s side.
Once inside, Eunchae's eyes widened at the large display in front of her, filled with various functions and buttons begging to be pressed. She fastens her seatbelt and adjusts her position in search of the most comfortable setting.
“You should get your driver’s license soon, so I can give you this car,” Jin-woo says, pulling the car out of the parking space.
“Why? I don’t even have a car, and I get driven everywhere,” Eunchae responds, puzzled.
“Well, I was planning to give it to you once you got your license. But if you’re not going to, I’ll just keep it for myself,” Jin-woo teases.
“Nono, I’ll get my license. I’ll start studying right away!” Eunchae replies quickly, her desire for the car evident.
“Good. Now if you were that eager to study for school, that’d be amazing,” Jin-woo jokes, causing Eunchae to groan.
“Oppa…” she whines, her voice dripping with playful annoyance.
Jin-woo turns toward her, raising an eyebrow. “Am I wrong?”
“No,” Eunchae mutters quietly, defeated.
“That’s what I thought,” Jin-woo smirks. “Now, let’s go pick up Yujin and head straight to the airport.”
“Ehh, you know where their dorm is?” wonders Eunchae, narrowing her stare at Jin-woo
“Yea, she’s roughly 15 mins away.” Answer Jin-woo, eyes on the road
After 15 mins, Jin-woo pulls up in front of a sleek dorm building, the city skyline towering in the background. Eunchae looks out the window, scanning for Yujin.
“There she is,” Jin-woo says, nodding toward the entrance of the building.
Standing by the front door, Yujin waits, her figure unmistakable even from a distance. She’s dressed casually but stylishly, wearing a black hoodie and joggers. A mask covers her face, hiding her expression but not her presence. Her posture is relaxed, but there’s a certain alertness in the way she stands, as if she’s always ready for whatever comes next.
As Jin-woo slows the car to a stop, Yujin starts walking toward them, her steps steady and confident. Eunchae leans forward, peeking out the window, a smile spreading across her face.
“Yujin-unnie, you look so mysterious with that mask,” Eunchae teases, half-joking but clearly intrigued.
Yujin slides into the backseat, pulling her mask down just enough to reveal a playful grin. “I’m just trying to stay incognito. You know how it is,” she says, settling into the car.
Jin-woo glances at her through the rearview mirror. “Did you have to wear the mask just to come outside?”
“Well, I don’t want to get recognize and expose where we live do I.” answers Yujin
“True.” Replies Jin-woo shortly
“Alright I’m ready. Let’s go, we don't want to be late, do we?” Says Yujin causing Jin-woo to start driving the car.
As Jin-woo pulls up to the airport, he slows the car down, coming to a stop directly behind a black van. The van’s license plate catches his eye, recognizing it instantly as belonging to the rest of the crew.
“Looks like we’re not the first ones here,” Jin-woo murmurs, putting the car in park. He glances at Yujin and Eunchae in the rearview mirror.
Before either of them can respond, the paparazzi, seemingly out of nowhere, start snapping pictures. Flashbulbs go off in rapid succession, although used to it, it momentarily blinds them.
Jin-woo takes the lead, pulling out the luggage from the trunk and handing it to the girls. The two girls nod their thanks, quickly grabbing their bags and waiting for him.
Jin-woo then approaches the valet, handing over the car keys without a second thought. The girls, watching him, glance at each other in confusion.
“Wait, what’s going on? Since when does the airport have valet service?” Eunchae asks, raising an eyebrow.
“They always did, but why would you trust a valet services.” Questions Yujin knowing that with their status, its still risky to hand over their personal vehicles regardless of how professional they are.
With a knowing smile, he simply replies, “You’ll know why soon.”
The girls exchange puzzled looks before walking off toward the rest of the crew.
Jin-woo steps over to join the others, who are gathered by their van. BM, spotting him, raises an eyebrow. “Hey, was that the new Maybach?” he asks, clearly impressed.
Jin-woo smirks. “Nice car, huh?”
“Of course, I’ve got a sports car but it’s Nothing compared to the Maybach, though.”
Seojin, who had been listening in, eyes the car thoughtfully as it drives away. “How much does it cost?”
Jin-woo shrugs nonchalantly, a playful glint in his eyes. “You could say it’s... well, a few zeroes more than most cars around here.”
With everybody ready, they stood in a line 10 meters in front of the airport entrance. A massive crowd of photographers surrounded them, snapping photos from every angle. With the idols being used to this, the actors, although experience with the public eye, the sheer number of photographers and fans made the scene feel overwhelming. Seojin, who was used to the usual attention, turns to Seojoon, Yumi, and Woo-shik, his voice low but amused.
"I’ve been to a lot of airports, but this feels like an entire press conference," he remarks, watching as more flashes erupted from all sides. Seojoon chuckles and adjusts his sunglasses, nodding in agreement.
“Yeah, it's definitely more intense today." Yumi, ever the composed one, gave a slight smile.
“Guess we should get used to it; idols really do attract a crowd." Woo-shik added with a laugh, “I thought I could just sneak through, but it’s like we're walking through a minefield of cameras."
The four of them shared a lighthearted moment amidst the chaos, trying to navigate through the throng of photographers following the younglings enter the airport.
After going through security, everyone stood aside, waiting for others to finish. The hum of announcements and the occasional chatter of other travelers fills the air.
“Yumi-ah, where are we boarding?” asks Seojin, glancing around the bustling terminal.
“I don’t have the tickets. I thought you had the tickets,” replies Yumi, her voice tinged with rising panic as she clutches her bag tighter.
“We should ask PD-nim,” suggests Eunseo, her brow furrowing as everyone huddles closer, murmuring in confusion.
“Everyone, we don’t need to worry about our gates because we won’t be needing one,” spoke Jin-woo calmly, a mischievous smile on his face.
The group turns toward him, their faces a mix of confusion and curiosity, waiting for him to elaborate.
“I’ve made some special prior arrangements,” Jin-woo continues, his eyes twinkling. “Since this will be Jinny’s Kitchen's last season, I thought we should make it memorable. Oh look, seems like our ride has arrived.” He gestures behind them.
A sleek shuttle cart approached silently, a woman in a crisp uniform driving it. The vehicle glided to a stop in front of the group. The driver steps off gracefully, her polished shoes barely making a sound on the floor. She bows politely; her expression professional.
“Sir Jin-woo, the jet is ready to be boarded. Please place the bags onto the cart, and we shall head to the entrance,” she announces smoothly.
Jin-woo nodded, flashing her with a friendly smile. “Thank you.”
“Wait, jet?” whispered Eunchae, eyes widening as she exchanges astonished looks with the others.
“Come on, let’s load up,” Jin-woo said, motioning for the cast to put their bags onto the cart. There was a clatter of wheels and zippers as they stack their luggage, their movements filled with a mix of confusion and excitement. Once everything was secure, they climb onto the cart. Jin-woo and Eunchae took the first row, while the rest filed in behind them, the seats creaking softly beneath them.
“Bro, where are we going?” BM asks, leaning forward from his seat, his brow raised.
Jin-woo turns slightly, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips. “Well, instead of getting on a commercial flight, we’ll be taking my friend’s private jet that they let me borrow.”
The words hung in the air for a moment, the weight of them sinking in.
“Wait, what?” Woo-shik practically yelped. “A private jet?”
“Privacy, Beds, unlimited food, large leg room, and personal flight attendants.” Continues Eunseo from the back
Everyone’s eyes widened, mouths falling open in disbelief.
“Where can I meet this friend? I wouldn’t mind flying private everywhere,” Woo-shik jokes, shaking his head in amazement.
The cart glides through a set of glass doors and enters a private terminal. Inside, the atmosphere shifts and immediately the chaos of the main airport is replaced with serene luxury. Plush leather couches, marble floors, and a long table adorned with neatly arranged snacks, beverages, and delicate pastries filled the space. A few travelers lounged nearby, some reading and others chatting quietly.
Several workers approach with practiced efficiency, lifting their luggage away with ease.
“Is this a dream?” Eunseo whispers, her eyes darting around the lavish lobby.
Floor-to-ceiling windows showcases a clear view of the runway. Parked just outside was a jet painted in striking black and red.
“Oh my god, look at that jet. It looks amazing,” Eunseo gasps, pressing a hand to the glass.
“That’s a Gulfstream 650ER with custom paint,” Seojin explained, his voice low with awe. “It’s huge and ridiculously expensive, it can fit 12 or more people.”
“Ohh, I’m getting excited now,” Eunchae said, bouncing on her toes, her eyes sparkling.
“Alright, guys, it’s time for us to board the jet,” Jin-woo announced, his tone light but confident.
They snapped back to attention, following Jin-woo and the hostess through a hallway that led out to the windy runway. The chill breeze tousle their hair as they walk, eyes lock on the sleek jet awaiting them. The engines gives off a low, powerful hum, promising speed and luxury.
“Ya, Jin-woo, is that the jet your friend let you borrow?” Yujin asked breathlessly, hurrying up to him.
“Yup,” he replied, a satisfied smile on his face.
“How rich are they?” Yujin questioned, her eyes narrowing playfully.
“Oh, why are you so curious? You trying to find a partner?” Jin-woo teased, his grin widening.
“YA!” Yujin shot back, cheeks flushing. “I’m just wondering why they would lend you their own private jet!”
“Don’t worry, this is their cheapest one,” Jin-woo said nonchalantly, as he climbs the stairs leading into the jet.
As the cast members entered the jet, they were immediately greeted by a warm smile from an elegantly dressed air hostess.
"Welcome aboard," she said, giving a polite bow. "I’ll be here to assist you with any of your needs during the flight. Please make yourselves comfortable and let me know if you need refreshments or anything else."
The group exchange glances, their eyes widening as they took in the luxurious surroundings. The cabin was a vision of elegance and comfort. Plush leather seats stretched out spaciously, each paired with personal entertainment screens. The ceiling glowing with soft ambient lighting, and the polished wood details gave the interior a sophisticated touch.
“Whoa… this is insane,” whispered Eunchae, her fingers trailing along the edge of a seat.
Yujin’s jaw drops. “This is like flying in a five-star hotel! Is this how you usually travel?”
Jin-woo chuckles, motioning for everyone to step further inside. “Let me give you guys a quick tour.”
They follow him eagerly. He points to the plush seats. “These are fully reclining, so feel free to get comfy. You can even turn them into flat beds for naps.”
Jin-woo smirks. “And if you need a full meal, just let her know. There’s a full menu onboard.” Pointing at the menus on the tables by the chairs.
“There’s steak and sushi.” Says Eunchae as her eyes twinkle at the list of food on the menu
“Behave yourself, Eunchae. The food is for everyone.” Nudge Yujin causing the younger girl to pout.
They moved forward, passing a sleek kitchen area stocked with an assortment of snacks and drinks. The hostess gestured to it. “Help yourselves to anything you like or just let me know if you want something specific.”
“Snacks and drinks as well.” exclaims Woo-shik, already eyeing the treats.
“There’s wine here as well.” Said Seojoon as he looks at the small wine fridge filled with expensive wine.
“Dude, let me know if you’re travelling anywhere. I’ll drop everything.” Said BM
They continue down the aisle, stopping at a spacious bathroom with marble accents. “Even the bathroom looks better than my apartment,” joked BM, peeking inside.
Jin-woo laughed. “There’s more. Come on.”
At the back of the plane was a private sleeping area with a luxurious bed. The group gasped in awe.
“A bed on a plane?” Eunseo marvel. “This is unreal.”
Just then, Seojoon notices a neatly folded note on one of the seats. Curious, he picks it up and read aloud:
“‘Welcome aboard! We hope this flight is as enjoyable as your journey ahead. Relax, indulge, and make yourselves at home.’” he smiles. “This is like a VIP experience!”
“Only the best for you guys,” said Jin-woo with a wink.
As they settled into their seats, the cockpit door opened, and a tall, confident pilot stepped out. He removed his cap with a smile.
“Welcome, everyone. I’m Captain Lee,” he said warmly. “I’ll be flying you today. Jin-woo and I go way back, I’m his go-too pilot whenever his ‘friend’ lends out this beauty.”
Jin-woo nods. “Yeah, I trust no one else behind the controls.”
The cast members let out a collective murmur of appreciation.
“Nice to know we’re in good hands,” said Yujin, smiling.
Captain Lee gave a small salute. “Sit back, relax, and enjoy the flight. If you need anything, just let the crew know.”
As he returns to the cockpit, the engines purred to life. The jet glides smoothly toward the runway.
Jin-woo leans back, grinning at everyone’s amazed expressions. “Buckle up, everyone. Let’s make this a flight to remember.”
With that, the jet soared gracefully into the sky, to their destination Madrid.
Once they leveled out in the air, the seatbelt sign turned off, and the hostess began offering refreshments and asking if they would like to have anything from the menu so she could prepare it. Jin-woo turns to Yujin, who is sitting across from him, staring out the window at the clouds.
“First time on a private jet?” Jin-woo asks, a teasing lilt in his voice.
Yujin pulls her gaze away from the window, a small smile playing on her lips. “What gave it away? The fact that I haven’t stopped staring since we boarded?”
Jin-woo chuckled. “A little. You look like a kid seeing snow for the first time.”
“It’s just… everything about this feels surreal,” Yujin admitted, glancing around the lavish cabin. “The seats, the space, the view—it’s like we’ve stepped into another world.”
“Well, you’d better get used to it,” Jin-woo said, leaning forward slightly. “If we keep this pace, trips like this might become a regular thing.”
Yujin tilts her head, studying him for a moment. “You say that like this is normal for you. Have you always been this… extravagant?”
Jin-woo leans back, a thoughtful look crossing his face. “Not always. But when you work hard enough or have rich friends, you get to enjoy moments like this. That’s the goal, right? To share these experiences with people who matter.”
Her expression softens, and she gives him a genuine smile. “Well, if that’s the goal, I’d say you’re doing a good job so far.”
“Flattery will get you everywhere,” Jin-woo quips with a grin.
Yujin laughs, shaking her head. “I’m serious, though. This is… unforgettable, not having to worry about other passengers and having personal space.”
“Good,” Jin-woo said, his voice quieter now. “Because this is just the beginning. Now come here let me show you the chair settings, there’s massage settings.”
Yujin stands up and takes the seat beside him. Jin-woo shows her the massage setting which allows them to recline backwards and feet upwards as the chair vibrates massaging their body.
“Feeling better?” asks Jin-woo
“Ughhh it feels so good.” Moans Yujin in comfort, feeling her tight muscles start to relax.
“You know, I’ve been told that my back massages are heavenly.” Said Jin-woo, looking at Yujin.
“In your dreams idiot.” Reply Yujin opening her eyes to stare at Jin-woo
“Well, I dream more than just that but its fine.” Jokes Jin-woo
“Shut up, now go order me some food, butler.” Commands Yujin in a arrogant tone.
“Not even an hour in a jet, and you’ve become such a stuck up.” Said Jin-woo giving her a disgusting stare.
“Well, I have to deal with you, so I think I earned it. Now I want some bulgogi bibimbap.” Commands Yujin
“I thought you love dealing with me.” Hearing this, Yujin opens her eyes again, giving him a sharp side glance. She narrows her eyes and press her lips together, her expression dripping with playful annoyance
“Fine, Eunchae, do you want something as well?” asks Jin-woo towards Eunchae who is sitting across from them, beside Yujin’s original seat.
“I want some steak please.” Answers Eunchae before focusing her attention back to her phone, leaning back in her reclined chair.
“Alright.” Said Jin-woo as he orders the food.
They all enjoy their time on the flight, everyone having small discussion with one another while eating, and sleeping until they arrive at Madrid.
