“Ahh, it’s so sunny and hot!” Eunchae says as she dashes out of the airport, her eyes wide as she takes in the warm, vibrant scenery of Madrid. She can’t help but grin, already enamored by the city’s lively atmosphere. The rest of the crew follows behind her, rolling their luggage along the terminal's polished floors.
“Pali, Pali!! We can’t waste any more time! We need to explore!” urges Eunchae to the others that were taking their time moving their luggage.
"Is she always this energetic? It's like seeing a younger version of Taehyung," Seojin comments with a raised eyebrow, observing Eunchae’s boundless enthusiasm.
“Yes, she is. A bubbly gumball with everlasting energy.” Jin-woo adds, chuckling at the actors’ exuberance.
Arriving at the parking lot, where the rental cars are, the crew begin packing their luggage into two vehicles that will take them to their rental home.
Entering the vehicle, Yumi remarks “It seems like we got an upgrade from last time.”
Looking at the interior as he gets in, Seojin says “Yes, it seems like we can afford renting a Roll Royce SUV for our time here.”
“Is everyone ready?” Asks Jin-woo in the drivers seats
“Yes.” Says everyone.
The engine hums to life as both cars start up, and with a final glance at the airport, the team sets off. The sun is high in the sky, casting a golden hue over the scene as they begin their drive.
Car 1: Jin-woo (Driver), Eunchae, Seojin, Yumi, and Yujin are in the first vehicle, while the second car holds BM (the driver), Eunseo, Woo-shik, and Seojoon.

The highway stretches out ahead of them, and Eunchae’s eyes are fixed on the passing landscape. She watches the river winding through the city, the striking architecture, the charming streets, and the people bustling about. It's all so different from Seoul, and she’s soaking in every moment.
"Wow, the architecture looks so different from Seoul," Eunchae says, leaning her head against the window as the scenery unfolds before her.
“Yeah, I noticed that too. It’s more... grand, I guess?” Yumi replies, sitting beside Eunchae as she, too, takes in the city. "When we have time, we should come out and explore around."
"Mhmm, we must," Eunchae says eagerly, nodding as she continues to gaze out the window, already imagining what the city holds.
Jin-woo, sitting in the driver seat, glances back at the others. "Well, I can guide us around. There’s a ton of activities that we can do even after filming," he says with a confident smile. He’s clearly familiar with the city and excited to show his friends around.
Sitting in the front passenger seat, Yujin half-jokingly says “I’m not sure if we’ll have any energy left after filming to do anything.”
“You guys are young, Yumi and I should be the ones to say that” Seojin comment from the back seat, glancing at Yumi with a smirk. Yumi just laughs in response, nudging Seojin playfully.
"Ya oppa, I’m not that old, but yea we’ll probably need all the energy we can get after shooting," Yumi admits, looking at the other side of the car, watching the busy streets of Madrid as they zoom by.
The conversation continues, filled with laughter and lighthearted chatter, as the cars drive further into the heart of Madrid. The crew is excited, but also ready to get to the Airbnb and relax before their busy schedule begins.
Eunchae can hardly sit still, her excitement growing with every passing minute.
Not much longer, they arrived in front of a gated, detached house in the Puerta del Ángel neighborhood. After entering through the garage door into a small parking area beside the home, they parked and exited the vehicle, stretching their arms and legs before looking at the house in front of them. It was a white, single-story home with a sharp V-shaped roof.
They grab their luggage and walked up the steps to the front door. Inside, the home had a very modern, open-concept design with a sleek kitchen featuring grey cabinets. As they toured the house, they noted its spaciousness. There were large living rooms, white marble bathrooms, a large gym area, a pool/book room, and surprisingly, a small squash court in the back, next to the large pool.
Everyone was taken aback by the squash court and the sheer amount of space in the house. As they gathered back in the living room, PD-nim was waiting for them.
“Hello, everyone! I hope you like the house. It’s been lent to us by a close friend, so we must take care of it while we’re here,” explains PD-nim.
“Your friend must really like tennis,” said Eunseo, remembering the tennis court outside.
“Yes, you’re right. Now, there’s one issue you may have noticed, there are only 4 bedrooms, but 1 of the rooms has 1 bed.” said PD-nim.
“I think we should separate the rooms by gender?” suggested Seojoon.
“You can do that, or…” PD-nim paused with a mischievous grin. “We could play a game.”
“NO!” everyone chorused not wanting to deal with his shenanigans.
“Aww, you guys are no fun. Well, you have 30 minutes to decide and pack before we go get food.” PD-nim said before leaving the room.
“Does anyone have any ideas or preferences?” asks Woo-shik.
Jin-woo stepped up. “I think we could organize it like this: Seojin-nim can have the solo room as he is our ‘boss’, Seojoon-Hyung, Woo-shik-Hyung and BM-Hyung in the second room; Yumi-shi and Eunseo-shi in the third room; and finally, Eunchae, me, and Yujin in the fourth room. Is that okay?”
“That sounds good,” agrees BM.
“I’m fine with that,” agrees Yumi.
“Ugh, I don’t want to deal with oppa’s snoring,” whines Eunchae, causing everyone to laugh.
“Wait, why am I stuck with you?” Yujin wonders out loud, looking at jin-woo with strange glare.
“Why not? Are you scared that I’ll do something to you?” Jin-woo teased. “Please, I’m too good for you.”
Yujin rolls her eyes, clearly unimpressed.
“Lucky guy,” BM whispers, nudging Jin-woo.
With the sleeping arrangements sorted, everyone starts heading to their rooms. Yujin, Eunchae, and Jin-woo room are the second largest room in the home just smaller than the main bedroom. It has its own bathroom, walk in closet and a skylight right above their beds with an automatic cover allowing them to see the night sky if they wanted to. Once they enter their assigned room and immediately realize something.
“There’s only two beds,” Yujin said, looking at the room in disbelief. “I think they forgot to add another one.”
“Well, if they didn’t, I call dibs on the bed,” declares Eunchae, jumping onto one of them.
“Ya, he’s your brother,” Yujin said, playfully scolding her. “Why don’t you go sleep with him?”
“Nope, now shoe, shoe,” Eunchae said, shooing her away, before unpacking her stuff and settling in.
“It’s fine, Yujin. I’ll sleep on the ground,” Jin-woo offers.
“You sure?” Yujin asks, raising an eyebrow at his sudden generosity.
“Yeah, it’ll be fine,” Jin-woo reassures her, already beginning to unpack his things.
“Come on, let’s hurry up and unpack,” Jin-woo said, eager to get things settled. As Yujin, Eunchae, and Jin-woo unpack, the atmosphere was a mix of casual banter and mild frustration. Yujin sighs, looking at the two beds in the room. It was a bit of a shock to realize the room had only two beds when they had expected to have more space.
Eunchae, having claimed one of the beds without a second thought, continues to unpack her things with a smug smile. She was clearly relishing the fact that she got the bed she wanted without any argument.
"You're lucky," Yujin mutters, giving her an exasperated look before turning to Jin-woo. "So... you're really going to sleep on the floor?"
Jin-woo, ever the laid-back type, shrugs nonchalantly. "Yeah, it's fine. I'm not that picky." He started unpacking his own bag, clearly trying to ease the tension. "Besides, it’s not like we’ll be in the room much anyway. We'll all be out and about, so it doesn’t matter."
Yujin raised an eyebrow but didn’t argue further. She knew Jin-woo was the kind of person who would sacrifice his comfort without a second thought if it meant keeping the peace, but she still felt bad about it.
Eunchae, meanwhile, was already settling into her bed, spreading out like she owns the whole room. "It's comfy. I don’t know why you’re complaining. You could always share with Oppa." She teases; her voice laced with mock sweetness.
Yujin shoots her a look. “I'm not sleeping with him. I need my personal space, and I don’t need him annoying me when I sleep.
“Yea yea yea, it’s time to leave.” Jin-woo says getting up to leave the room.
At a Restaurant
Sitting at the tables in a traditional Spanish restaurant, the crew is looking through the menu. The restaurant was on the higher end of the price range, and it was decorated with brick walls and a round roof making it look like a century-old restaurant. Looking at the menu, some were deciding what to eat while some were discussing the price of each dish.
“Ah the food here is pretty pricey.” Says Seojin, going through the prices on the menu.
“ It’s okay, 1 euro is roughly 1500 won.” Said Jin-woo
“ I don’t know about you but I’m dying to eat. It sounds delicious.” Said BM
“ What should I get, hmm.” Wondered Eunseo
“ We should try something we don’t usually eat.” Said Seojoon
“ Jin-woo, what traditional food should we try.” Ask Woo-shik
“Well Traditional Tapas or Pisto Manchego looks good, and we can all share it between each other.” answers Jin-woo
“ I don’t know what that is but I just want to eat a lot.” Said Eunchae with a small chuckle
“Of course you do, just make sure you finish it all.” Said Jin-woo looking at Eunchae.
Jin-woo called the waitress over, and everyone put in their orders.

After ordering, Yujin leans forward, a playful glint in her eye. “Oh, can we do the baseball intro like the previous season?” she asked, causing Seojoon, Yumi, and Woo-shik to groan in unison.
“Yea, I thought it was funny,” Eunseo chimes in, smiling.
“I agree as well. We should definitely do that. Good thinking, Yujin-ah,” PD-nim said, nodding enthusiastically.
“Aish, I’m not sure if I want to do that,” Seojoon muttered, rubbing the back of his neck as memories of their last attempt made him cringe.
“It’ll be fun, Hyung,” Woo-shik said, nudging Seojoon’s shoulder. “This time, we should dress up for it.”
“Speaking of the restaurant, let’s decide the positions now,” PD-nim interjected, bringing the group’s attention back. “I think Seojoon, Eunseo, Yumi, and Woo-shik should work in the back preparing the food and bringing it out. At the front, Seojin, Yujin, BM, Jin-woo, and Eunchae will work as servers. Seojin will handle the bills and drinks. Occasionally, we’ll have the idols perform some songs. Any objections?” he asked, looking around.
“Yes,” everyone replied in unison just as their food began to arrive, eliciting a round of laughter.
“Now, let’s eat!” BM yelled, raising his glass high. The others cheered, clinking their drinks together before diving into their meals.
As everyone began eating, the table filled with the sounds of laughter and clinking cutlery.
“This T-Bone is perfect. The char is just right,” Jin-woo said, slicing into his steak with satisfaction.
“The sea bass is so tender,” Yujin chimes in, savoring another bite. “The tomato compote adds such a nice balance.”
“I think I might regret ordering this,” Woo-shik said with a laugh, eyeing his burger. “It’s massive, but the truffle aroma is worth it.”
“How is it, Eunchae?” Yumi asks, noticing Eunchae was unusually quiet.
Eunchae, her cheeks stuffed with cod tempura, barely managed a thumbs-up before shoving another bite into her mouth.
“Eunchae, slow down!” Yujin said, half-laughing, half-scolding. “You’re going to choke!”
“But it’s so good!” Eunchae mumbles through a mouthful, making everyone burst into laughter.
“The cod is amazing,” Seojin said, nodding. “The tempura batter is light, and the truffled parmentier is incredible.”
“I think the tapas were the highlight for me,” Eunseo said, leaning back and patting her stomach. “That chorizo was dangerously good.”
“‘From Hell’ is a fitting name,” Seojoon added, chuckling. “It’s spicy, but it’s addictive.”
“I’m surprised no one’s mentioned the goat cheese yet,” BM said, his fork hovering over the last Chupa Chup. “This tomato marmalade? Delicious.”
“Not if I get it first,” Woo-shik teased, reaching for it, but BM quickly snatched it up with a laugh.
The lively chatter continued as the group enjoyed their meal, the plates slowly emptying as everyone indulged in both the food.
The night
The front door clicked open, and one by one, the group began filing into the house, each person carrying the weight of a long, satisfying dinner in their tired limbs. Yumi was the first inside, kicking off her shoes by the door and stretching with a loud yawn. "I am so full, I could just sleep standing up," she joked, slipping off her coat.
Jin-woo, following closely behind, let out a dramatic sigh as he dropped his bag onto the hallway bench. "You ate three servings of dessert, Yumi. What did you expect," he teased, his voice drowsy as he ran a hand through his hair.
Woo-shik grinned, trailing in next, holding his jacket over one arm. "Honestly, I could go for a nap right now," he admitted, dropping onto the nearest couch. "That was way too much food, but so worth it."
BM enters behind him, giving everyone a tired wave. "We were all talking so much during dinner, I thought we were at a social event, not a restaurant," he chuckles, taking off his hat, giving his hair a comb through with his hands. "But I’m with you, I need a good nap."
Eunseo follows BM inside, laughing softly as she shakes her head. "If you're all napping, then count me out. I'm catching up on my shows." She walks past the group, heading for her room.
Yujin, just behind Eunseo, stretches her arms above her head, her shoulders sore from sitting too long at the dinner table. "You guys are hopeless," she said, smiling. "I might not nap, but a nice shower sounds great."
As Seojin and Seojoon came in together, both looking equally tired, Seojoon glanced around the room, offering a small grin. He asked, “Is anyone else still hungry?" but his tone clearly said he wasn’t. "I feel like I ate so much, I’ll be tasting it until tomorrow."
Seojin threw a tired glare. "It’s not food I need right now; it’s rest, we have a busy day tomorrow." he mutters, heading for the hallway where he disappeared into his room.
"Yeah, I’m with you," Seojoon sighs, then slowly shuffles toward his room. "I need at least three hours of sleep."
After everyone scatters to do their nightly routines, the house grew quieter. The only sounds were footsteps and the faint rustling of sheets.
Yujin, after a long shower, steps out of the bathroom, a cartoonish, bright green facemask on her face. She walks back into their bedroom, where Jin-woo was lying on the floor, his hand propped behind his head as he stared up at the ceiling, looking lost in thought. Eunchae, tucked under her sheets on the couch, was completely absorbed in her phone screen.
Yujin tilted her head and raised an eyebrow, looking at Jin-woo. "What are you doing?"
Jin-woo, still lying flat on the floor, let out a long sigh, glancing over at Yujin. His eyes widened a little as he took in her facemask. "What is that on your face?" he asked, a mixture of confusion and amusement in his voice.
Yujin grinned and patted her face dramatically. "It’s a facemask! You’ve never seen one before?" she teased. "Do I look cute?" she added with a smirk, clearly enjoying the attention.
Jin-woo raised an eyebrow. "It looks like something out of a kid's cartoon... are you planning on scaring someone tonight?" he teased back.
Yujin shrugged nonchalantly, still grinning. "You’re just jealous you don't have one."
“My skin is perfect so why would I need one? You thought.” Retorts Jin-woo side eyeing here
Eunchae, still glued to her phone, let out a soft chuckle at the exchange but didn’t look up. Jin-woo glances at her. "She’s talking to Kyujin," he said casually, offering the info with a half-smile.
Eunchae’s fingers paused on the screen for just a second, a blush creeping across her cheeks, but she didn’t meet anyone’s gaze. "Shut up, Oppa," she muttered, her voice betraying a small smile as she quickly typed something back.
Jin-woo laughed softly. "I’m not the one making it obvious," he teased, laying back down, eyes once again fixed on the ceiling. "And you," he added, turning his head toward Yujin, "look ridiculous."
Yujin shot him with a playful glare. "Fine, fine, I’ll just go scare Kyujin with my 'ridiculous' face," she said, half-laughing as she gets into Eunchae’s bed to greet Kyujin.
“Yea, and I’m going to sleep.” Says Jin-woo closing his eyes, as the girls in the room continue to talk and giggle.
Day One
Waking up slowly, Yujin covers her eyes with her hands as the sunlight streams through the curtains. The soft morning light cast a warm glow across the room, and for a moment, she lay there, still in the fog of sleep. Turning to her side blinking slowly, It takes her a second to realize that Jin-woo isn’t in the room. She stretches, then turns to look at the bed across from hers, where Eunchae is still sound asleep, curled up under the covers, her phone resting beside her. With a small smile, Yujin quietly slips out of bed, careful not to disturb her friend. She went through her usual morning routine, brushing her teeth, washing her face, and changing into something comfortable for the day. As she brushes her hair in front of the mirror, she notices a faint smile tugging at her lips.
After finishing up, Yujin walks over to Eunchae’s bed and gently shakes her. “Eunchae-ah, wake up. Don’t tell me you’re going to sleep through breakfast,” she teases, though she couldn’t help but laugh when Eunchae just groans in response.
Yawning, Yujin made her way downstairs, the familiar smells of breakfast already wafting from the kitchen. When she walks in, she finds the others already gathered around the table, looking ready to start the day all wearing a Jinny kitchen uniform where it was a blue T-shirt with Jinny’s signature face logo printed on the back, a small one on the front and a pair of shorts. Jin-woo was at the stove, flipping something in a pan, looking entirely too calm for someone who had to make breakfast for all of them. Seojin, with a surprising smile, is chatting with him, complimenting his cooking.
“You’re making all of us such a healthy breakfast,” he said, watching him beside him,
“How does life as a pro gamer translate into making such good food? Where did you even learn to cook like this?”
Jin-woo, with a proud but slightly bashful grin, shrugs. “I’ve been living alone in the states since I was a teen, so I got to take care of myself, right? It’s not like I can live on delivery, too much msg. Besides, it's just a little bit of practice and with my skills and intellect, it was easy.”
Seojoon, leaning casually against the kitchen island, added, "If Taehyung were here, he'd ask Jin-woo to cook for him 24/7. He’d never let him stop." He chuckled, glancing over at Woo-shik.
Woo-shik, never one to miss an opportunity to tease, cut in, “Taehyung would love this more than his love for ramen. That’s saying a lot.”
BM, who had been quietly sitting at the table, looks up from his phone and nods with a grin. “For real, we should play some games together when we get back to Korea,” he said. “I’ll pay you back for the daily breakfast with my carrying you on COD, you may be good with PC Games, but console is my jam.”
Jin-woo chuckles, finishing up the last of the dishes. "Deal," he said, setting the plates down with a flourish. Yujin walks over to the table, finding a seat as she watches him move around the kitchen, his confident smile making her feel at ease as well. She couldn’t help but zone out, caught in her thoughts as she stares at him, her mind wandering.
Jin-woo, noticing her gaze, raised an eyebrow as he brought a plate of food over to her. “You good there, Yujin?” he joked, handing her a plate with a playful smirk. “Daydreaming about me or the food?”
Yujin snapped back to reality, blushing a little as she took the plate, trying to hide her flustered smile. “I wasn’t daydreaming!” she protests, though her voice lacked any real conviction. “Just... thinking about how today will go.”
Eunchae finally appears, walking into the kitchen and dropping beside Yujin at the table, scooting her chair closer to lean her head gently against Yujin’s shoulder. Yujin glances down at her, smiling softly as she pats her head.
Seojin, standing by the counter, checks the time and clears his throat, drawing everyone’s attention. “Alright, we should hurry,” he said, glancing at everyone with a focused look. “We need to get to the new restaurant early to get familiar with the area, set up the equipment, and prep for the opening.”
The group nods in agreement, a mixture of excitement and anticipation building. As the conversation turns to the day ahead, everyone digs in, savoring the breakfast Jin-woo had made. It was going to be a long, busy day, but for now, they could enjoy the calm before everything kicked off.
Arriving at the restaurant
Driving through the busy streets of Spain, they arrive at a corner restaurant on Gran Via, the busiest strip in Madrid, the intersection is filled with people walking with friends and family or by themselves. The restaurant has a hanging circular sign of Jinny’s kitchen logo, the outer walls were mostly glass allowing people outside to see into the restaurant. Inside were a bunch of tables and chairs with grills on them in the middle. To one side of the wall was a bar filled with a bunch of wine and beer bottles on the shelves. Leaving the car, they walk inside admiring the inside, Yujin, Eunchae and Eunseo strides forward through the tables into the kitchen where there was a large clean kitchen fille with top quality equipment. There was also the filming crew at the back filming them admiring the kitchen.
“Eunseo-unnie, I think I’m kind of jealous of you.” Yujin says, staring at the state-of-the-art equipment.
“Jealous of what? Working like a slave in the kitchen.” Jokes Eunseo, earning a laugh from the both of them
“Come on, let's go back to the others.” Smiled Yujin
In the front, Seojin, the boss, took the moment to gather everyone together in the front. He looked at each of them, his gaze steady, and gave a small but motivating speech.
“Alright, guys,” he starts, his voice calm but firm. “We have roughly 3 hours to get ready, Seojoon, Yumi and Woo-shik have experience with this so if there’s any problems or you need help ask them or me. Let’s give it our all.”
Each person nods in agreement, a mix of excitement and determination in the air.
After a brief moment of unity, they quickly disperse to their respective tasks. Eunseo takes charge of the side dishes such ass kimchi, sauces, and all the other necessary ingredients for the KBBQ. She works with precision, cutting vegetables and organizing everything into neat trays.
Seojoon, already elbow-deep in the fridge, works on the meats, carefully prepping chicken, beef, and pork with expert hands. His movements were quick but deliberate, ensuring everything was sliced and marinated to perfection.
Wooshik, on the other hand, is focusing on seafood, working with the delicate items like shrimp, octopus, and fish. He also handles the corn and vegetables, making sure they were seasoned and ready to be grilled.
Yumi, ever the perfectionist, is working on the meat sauces and marinades, her eyes flicking between the stovetop and her notes. She was also in charge of prepping rice and ingredients for bibimbap and kimbap, carefully portioning out everything to make sure nothing was missing.
Meanwhile, the team working the front, Yujin, Eunchae, BM, Jin-woo, and Seojin, gets to work. They begin by cleaning and setting the tables, making sure everything is spotless and ready for customers. The menu boards are updated, and any last-minute details are sorted out. Seojin, ever the perfectionist, is taking care of the bar area, cleaning it thoroughly and making sure all the equipment was in working order. He familiarizes himself with everything, mentally preparing for the rush. BM is helping out at the bar as well, knowing he’d need to assist Seojin if things got busy. He is also prepared to handle any influx of drinks, especially with his experience dealing with customers.
As the clock ticked closer to opening, the prep work began to wind down. Around 11:15, everyone reconvened in the front, gathering together as Seojin stood in front of them once again. His voice was steady, his confidence radiating.
“Alright, this is it,” he said, his gaze sweeping across the group. “It’s time to open. Let’s make today count. We’re not just here to serve food, we're here to create something special for every person who walks through that door. So, let’s work together and do this right. You’ve all got this.”
The group nods: their faces set with determination. One by one, each person offered their own little bit of encouragement:
Yujin, who is standing beside Eunchae, grins and adds, “We’ve got this. We’re a team, and we always come through when it counts.”
Eunchae gives a half-smile, leaning against Yujin’s shoulder. “Yeah, no pressure, right? We’ll make it work.”
BM nodded eagerly. “Let’s show them what we can do! it’s time to bring the heat.”
Wooshik grinned. “Here’s to the first day of many!”
Jin-woo chuckles and stretches his arms, joining in. “Yeah, let’s serve up some amazing food and make sure everyone leaves happy.”
Seojin, seeing their energy, smiles with pride dimples showing. “Alright, on three... Let’s do this. One, two, three TEAMWORK!”
The group shouts the word in unison, their voices loud and full of energy. They feel the surge of excitement and camaraderie, knowing they are ready for whatever comes next. With that, they spread out to their stations, prepared to handle the lunchtime rush and make their mark on the new restaurant.
“Jin-woo, Yujin and Eunchae!” Call Seojin “Please hang out these flyers to the locals. We need to spread awareness of our restaurants but be safe. Especially you as you both are idols.”
“Nae Sajang-nim!” salutes Eunchae causing them all to laugh.
Eunchae, Yujin, and Jin-woo walk out the doors and stood there each holding a stack of flyers.
“Make sure to stay around me and in my line of sight.” Said Jin-woo staring at the locals walking by in front of them. Some of them took a glance at them and at the restaurant.
Slowly but surely a small crowd starts to form since there’s 2 idols and an extremely handsome man is standing outside.
“Hello Everyone, if you guys are hungry, please try out Jinny’s KBBQ. I promise you it won’t be a mistake.” Said Jin-woo loudly
“Hello, miss, would you and your friends like to come in for some BBQ?” asks Jin-woo with a smile towards a group of girls. The girls didn’t reply but spoke among each other before nodding and walking in. Jin-woo guides them in and seated them in a table of four.
Yujin looks at them, before she comments “ Aish, his charm sure is dangerous.”
Eunchae giggles “That’s my oppa.” Before looking forward, trying to hand flyers out.
“Hi, would you like to try our restaurant? Very good food!” exclaims Eunchae handing our flyers to passersby.
Turning towards the cameraman beside them, facing him, she speaks into the mic clipped on her sleeves “Ladies, if you ever see Jin-woo, be careful of his charm.”
Little did Yujin know, the harmless lie caused a commotion online with the viewers as it made Yujin look like a jealous girlfriend.
With Jin-woo, setting down the side dishes, He asks the girls what they want to order
“What would you guys like?”
“Sorry ,can you speak Spanish” ask on of the girls
“Of course, are you ready to order?”
“Yes, we would like pork belly, beef brisket, corn, salmon, marinated chicken and 3 bibimbap.”
“Of course, any drinks?”
“Can we get 4 glasses of red wine?”
Getting their order, Jin-woo walks to Seojin and tells him about their drinks.
“They want 4 red wines, Hyung-nim.” Says Jin-woo while inputting the order on the computer. To which he brings the printed paper into the kitchen beside them through the door. Entering the door, it caught the attention of Eunseo, Woo-shik, Yumi and Seojoon.
“Ok guys Pork Belly, Beef Brisket, Corn, Salmon, Marinated chicken and 3 Bibimbap for table 1 Please.” Said Jin-woo before putting the paper on the board on the wall.
“Yes!” they all said as they excitedly get into work.
Leaving the kitchen, he walks towards the front where more customers are coming in to guide them to their seats. Seojin is getting the drinks order ready as BM help with taking orders. Seeing this, he thought to himself
“Lets get the show on the road.” As Jin-woo heads towards customers wave for him with a smile
The day continues, with a steady stream of customers rolling in, each placing their orders with anticipation. People were also waiting in line, so they were given a number and would receive a text msg if their table is ready. With the increasing number of customers, Eunchae and Yujin were needed inside to lend a hand, taking orders, bringing food to tables, and replacing grills as they went. In the back, the kitchen staff was working overtime to keep up with the demand, while the front staff stayed just as busy. Seojin was diligently making drinks, with BM helping out by delivering them to the tables. The rhythm of the restaurant hummed along smoothly, with everyone pulling their weight.
“Eunchae-ah, can you get the card machine for table 6.” Asks Yujin as she carries a tray of food out the kitchen, seeing a customer wave a credit card in their hand.
“Nae!” said Eunchae as she hurriedly heads to the bar to get the machine which Seojin hands it over.
“Here give me this. This is table 9 order.” Said Jin-woo as he takes the tray of meat.
“ It’s for Table 3.” Said Yujin as she heads back to the kitchen to give them the order
Entering the Kitchen again Yujin places the order list on the board and lists out the food.
“ Prime Ribeye, Marinated Short Rib, Brisket, Salmon, Shrimp, marinated Pork, Kimchi and Corn cheese. Please!” lists Yujin as she leaves the kitchen returning to the front.
“Nae!” replies everyone in the kitchen.
“Aish, I need a raise already.” Whines Woo-shik as he starts to prepare the food.
“I just need rest. I don’t know why I returned.” Said Seojoon with small chuckle
“Come on oppa, it's almost break time.” comments Eunseo trying to bring in positivity
“ Ya Look at your juniors. Eunseo's work ethic is way better than both of you. Especially you Woo-shik-ah” commands Yumi earning a sigh in reply
“yea yea.” He said
By around 3 PM, the last customer of the afternoon shift left, signaling the brief break before the dinner rush. The restaurant closed from 3 to 5 to allow the staff to rest and recharge, as well as to prepare for the dinner service that would run from 5 to 10 PM. Putting the break sign on the window, Seojin walks back towards the others.
Plopping down into a chair, Eunseo lets out a long, exhausted sigh, her shoulders slumping. "Omg," she mutters, rubbing her eyes. "I’ve never been this tired in my life." She glances around at the others, some of whom are equally slouched, their bodies still adjusting to the whirlwind of a busy afternoon. "How do you guys keep going?"
“Being an idol.” Replies BM casually flexing his muscle causing Eunseo to laugh.
“Experience, but still never use it.” Says Yumi fanning herself to cool down
“ Yea, but it doesn’t seem like Jin-woo is tired.” Says Seojoon as he looks at Jin-woo who was just standing behind the cash register counting the money looking perfectly find.
“Because he is inhuman.” Said Yujin, sitting down holding a fan to her face.
“Oppa, Never get tired from physical activities.” Said Eunchae as she takes a drink of juice that she got from the bar.
“Maybe he has some super magic power.” Said BM
“If I did, why would I be here working with you guys?” Says Jin-woo as he walks towards the group after counting the money.
“Who knows, maybe you are here on a secret mission, trying to find some missing documents or jewelry.” Wondered Woo-shik
“Or he wants to spend time with someone special.” Says Eunchae with a teasing manner glancing at someone.
“OOHHH.” Says the others, except Yujin who blushes red
“ Guys, guys, I’m just here to have some fun.” Replies Jin-woo totally trying to defuse the situation.
“BOOOO” says BM, Eunseo, Eunchae and Woo-shik while the rest giggles.
“Where’s Seojin-nim?” questions Eunseo
“I brought back food.” Says Seojin as he walks back into the restaurant holding bags of food, receiving cheers as BM quickly went to help grab the food and place it all on the table.
“Make sure to eat well, we will be busy afterwards.” Says Seojin to which everyone nods in agreement as they look through each of the bags of food.
“Jin-woo-ah, did you check how much we got.” Asks Seojin
“ Yeah, we made about 800 dollars for lunch. Which is pretty good for our first lunch service.” Says Jin-woo grabbing his food from the bag.
“Hmm. Good, way more than I expected. We should be ready for dinner service since the dinner menu has cooked food such as fried chicken. Seojoon-ah, would you have time to prepare the fried chicken?” asked Seojin
“Uhm, yea we can, Eunseo-shi could you help me with that?” asked Seojoon
“Mhm for sure. I’ll batter the chicken and fry it once. Do you want me to handle the cooked menu orders as well?” asked Eunseo, taking a bite into her food.
“Yes, if possible but if it’s too much ask for one of us” Replies Seojoon earning a nod in response.
“Since we did so well, I made a special juice for everyone. I was planning on bringing it out later, on a harder day, but I think we deserve it- wait Eunchae-ah did you get that drink from the bottom cabinet, inside a glass case?” exclaimed Seojin as he sees the color of the drink Eunchae was drinking which matches the drink he brought for special occasions.
“Um….no?” said Eunchae a bead of sweat slowly dropping down
“It's fine, just let me know beforehand, why don’t you go get the juice out and pour it for the others. Sigh, It really seems like Taehyung has never left.” Says Seojin with a small laugh.
Eunchae smiles as she chugs her juice before getting up and quickly went to get the juice bottle from the cabinet and pour it in everyone’s glass. Everyone continues to have a good time eating and conversing with each other.
Yujin was scrolling through her phone looking through different outfits, unaware of the menace’s presence beside her. Jin-woo, always too confident for his own good, leaned a little closer, his voice low but teasing. "You know, you’re already pretty, Yujin you don’t need any more clothes."
She shoots him with a weird glare. "What are you talking about?" she said, stopping her scroll.
Jin-woo smirks. "You know what I mean, you don’t have to find pretty outfits to stand out to me and get my attention."
Yujin scoffs, her heart racing for reasons she wasn’t ready to admit. “What are you talking about? Why would I want your attention, it’s quite the opposite really.”
He chuckles, leaning in just a little more. "Yeah, sure. That’s why your ears are turning red."
She could feel the heat creeping up her neck, and she quickly changed the subject, hoping to redirect the conversation. "You’re such a pain," she mutters.
Jin-woo grins, clearly enjoying the reaction he was getting. "I know, but you secretly love it. Admit it."
Yujin shoots him with a punch, but the teasing in his eyes makes her heartbeat skip. "Aish, You’re impossible," she said,
"Only for you," Jin-woo replied with a wink, and Yujin rolled her eyes trying to focus on something else.
“Can you two stop, I’m eating.” Said Woo-shik, staring at the two as was everyone there.
“Sigh, My oppa is too good with the ladies. I need to learn some boxing so I can fight all the girls away.” Sighs Eunchae with her arm on her forehead.
“I can train you Eunchae. I got some moves.” Says BM as he shows some punches, causing laughter.
Yujin was about to retort to the teasing when her phone suddenly buzzes. She glances at the screen and saw a FaceTime call from Wonyoung. “Hold on,” she mutters, swiping to answer, already bracing herself for their usual round of questions.
The familiar faces of Wonyoung, Leeseo, Rei and Liz popped up on the screen. "Yujin!/Unnie!" they scream then Wonyoung speaks out excitedly. "How’s it going? How’s your day been so far?"
Yujin quickly adjusted, trying to hide the slight panic on her face. “It’s... tiring but fine,” she replies, giving a vague wave of her hand. "We’re all just eating lunch before we start preparing for dinner service. Everyone says hi"
Yujin stands up and raises her hand up to show everyone at the table eating and waving at the camera “Wait, wait, is Jin-woo oppa there?” Rei asked, her eyes narrowing with playful suspicion. Yujin felt her heart skip a beat sitting down quickly. She had been doing a pretty good job of keeping her distance from Jin-woo in front of the group, but there was no denying what was happening now.
“Uh, no—” Yujin started, but Jin-woo, ever the troublemaker, opens his mouth.
“Hey girls, how you doing?” asks Jin-woo with a cheeky grin on his face taking a bite of his food.
“Amazing.” They reply
Leeseo, leaning over Liz’s shoulder from the back, raises an eyebrow as she sees Jin-woo’s face. "Yujin, are you seriously sitting next to Jin-woo-oppa?" she asked, a teasing lilt in her voice. "Good job!"
Before Yujin could protest, Leeseo’s voice rang out from the phone again. “Hold up, let us see him.”
"No," Yujin mutters, trying to act casual.
Behind her, Jin-woo nudges her, clearly enjoying the chaos he was causing. “Don’t hide it, Yujin. If they want to see me, let them see me.” He leans beside her and grins mischievously as he raises his glass to the camera.
Wonyoung’s eyes lit up. “Oh, I see. Jin-woo IS sitting right next to you! Is there anything else. We need to know”
"No, nothing," Yujin stammers, though the nervousness in her voice was obvious.
“Come on, tell them how we are sharing the same room.” said Jin-woo fueling the flames
Hearing that all the girls squeals.
“WOOOW, You two are sharing the same room.” They all said
“Didn’t know you were so bold. You act quick.” teases Wonyoung
“Eunchae is there too! Gosh, you know what I got to go bye.” Yujin quickly ends the call before they can say anything.
“Hmm, maybe we should start preparing dinner service.” Cough Yujin, to which they all agree as they are basically done, and they didn’t have much time left.
As dinner service begins, the restaurant buzzes with energy. The lunchtime crowd was nothing compared to the chaos of the evening rush. Customers stream in one after another, forming a line that wraps around the corner.
Yujin, Eunchae, and Jin-woo move swiftly, navigating the growing influx of guests. Yujin flashes a warm smile at a couple browsing the drinks menu.
"Good evening! Would you like to start with some wine or perhaps a cocktail?" she asks.
The man glances at his partner before nodding. "A glass of Merlot for me, and she’ll have an Aperol Spritz."
"Great choice! I’ll have those right out for you," Yujin says before moving to her next table.
At another table, Eunchae leans in slightly, trying to listen and understand the lady sitting in front of her.
"I have a severe gluten allergy, so I just want to make sure my meal is safe," the woman says in Spanish.
Not quite understanding what she is saying, Eunchae looks up looking for Jin-woo and waves him over.
“Hola, how can I help you?” asks Jin-woo in spanish
"I have a severe peanut allergy, so I just want to make sure my meal is safe," the woman says in Spanish.
"Of course! We take dietary needs seriously," Jin-woo reassures her, flipping open her notepad. "The food that contains nuts will have a peanut image beside the name, and we make sure that food with peanuts is made separately from the others."
The woman sighs in relief. "That sounds perfect. Thank you so much!"
“No problem.” Says Jin-woo before updating Eunchae what happened before leaving for another group.
Jin-woo arrives and takes an order from the table of friends celebrating a birthday.
"Alright, folks! What are we thinking tonight? Something fancy? Something filling? Or just desserts first because… why not?" he jokes, earning a round of laughter.
One of the guests grins. "Let’s start with appetizers, how about 2 Fried Chicken and the bibimbap for each of us?"
"Excellent choice. Just warning you, though… once you try our fried chicken, you might never look at chicken the same way again, in a good way of course." Jin-woo says playfully as he jots down the order.
Despite the rush, they seamlessly help each other whenever needed answering questions, handling special requests, and making sure service runs smoothly.
Behind the bar, Seojin focuses on preparing drinks while also managing the cash register. However, splitting a complicated bill for a large group has him slightly flustered.
"Uh… BM, can you check this for me? They want it split five ways, but two people are covering the wine, and one wants to Venmo their share…" Seojin mumbles, eyes scanning the receipt.
BM, ever the multitasker, steps in without missing a beat.
"Gotcha. First of all, unfortunately we don’t accept Venmo, just cash and card.” Said BM to the customer.
“Oh shoot, alright its fine, I’ll just pay by card then.” Replies the customer
“Okay! Perfectly, now let’s break it down. Two people cover the wine, so we deduct that from the main bill first…" he says while efficiently sorting out the payments.
At the same time, he pours a freshly made espresso martini into a glass, slides it across the bar to a waiting server, and quickly checks an order slip before handing it to the kitchen.
"There you go. All set," BM says, patting Seojin on the shoulder before rushing off to make another cocktail.
In the kitchen, Woo-shik, Seojoon, Yumi, and Eunseo move at breakneck speed, slicing meat, plating banchan, and assembling orders as quickly as they can.
“Is the kimchi and ssamjang for table six ready!” Woo-shik calls out, expertly portioning thin slices of marinated short rib onto a wooden platter.
“I got it!” Eunseo shouts back, barely looking up as she refills a dish of spicy, fermented radish. She’s already gotten use to juggling her new responsibility, managing the fried chicken station, the latest addition to the dinner menu. The golden-brown pieces sizzle in the hot oil as she carefully times each batch.
“Fried chicken for table three is ready!” Seojoon announces, sliding a fresh plate down the counter window. “Eunseo, this is the correct sauce, right?”
“Yeah, yeah, just drizzle it, not drown it!” she huffs, quickly garnishing another plate of crispy wings.
Yumi, handling the soups and stews, wipes sweat from her brow. “Who orders 4 bibimbap at once? Are they feeding an army out there?”
Woo-shik chuckles as he lays out another tray of samgyeopsal. “It’s probably that group of college guys and they already asked for extra rice twice.”
The kitchen buzzes with energy, a mix of clanking knives, sizzling oil, and bursts of laughter. Despite the chaos, they move like a well-oiled machine, pushing out perfectly prepped ingredients.
Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, words quickly spread among the local crowd that some Korean idols and actors are running a restaurant. At first, during lunch service, only a few customers recognized Yujin, Eunchae, and BM, especially when they were handing out flyers, but whispers started circulating around. Now, lines are forming, and phones are pulled out ready to take pictures of their idols.
At first, they had time to take a quick photo, but as more people started coming and asking for pictures, they were forced to decline, needing to focus on serving customers. Instead, fans began recording them as they worked, interacting with each other, especially Jin-woo and Yujin.
Occasionally, Yujin would smile graciously, striking a quick pose for the fans recording her, though her attention never wavered from her job. Eunchae, just as excited, sometimes joined Yujin and the others for a quick pose before swiftly returning to work. BM, always a crowd favorite, gladly posed for the cameras, his charming smile never faltering.
As Yujin moves toward an empty table, she carefully picks up the used dishes, stacking them efficiently in her hands. Just as she turns, she notices a fan holding up their phone, aiming the camera at her. Without missing a beat, she offers them a soft, gracious smile, leaning over the table as she balances the plates with one hand. With her free arm she shows a peace sign.
Before the picture could be taken, Jin-woo suddenly walks by and stops behind her. Without warning, he reaches out and gently stretches her cheeks with both hands.
“Yah—!” Yujin huffs, furrowing her eyebrows as she instinctively looks to the side, straight at Jin-woo, her lips pursed in mild annoyance.
The fan's camera clicks at the perfect moment, Yujin's round cheeks pulled by Jin-woo’s fingers, her sharp gaze cutting to the side with furrowed brows, while Jin-woo simply grins, his eyes crinkling in amusement as he tugs at her face.
A few nearby customers chuckle at the sight, and the fan giggles, clearly pleased with their accidental masterpiece of a photo.
“Jin-woo, let go,” Yujin mutters, exhaling through her nose.
Jin-woo finally releases her, still grinning. “Couldn’t help it. Your fan got a legendary shot.”
Yujin shakes her head, trying to hide the small smile tugging at her lips before she briskly walks off with the dishes, leaving Jin-woo chuckling behind her.
Although the idols are the main attraction for the fans, Jin-woo, who has been quietly working behind the scenes, also starts drawing attention. His easygoing demeanor and charming nature catches the interest of some, with a few even recognizing him as a player for Sentinels who won Masters Madrid earlier in the year. Grinning at the attention, he poses for photos alongside the idols. However, the situation takes a turn when one particularly bold fan leans across the counter with a shy smile and asks, "Can I get your number?"
Cleaning the table beside the girl, Yujin’s eyebrow twitches as she catches wind of the request. "Are you serious? aishi" she mutters under her breath tilting her head a bit, barely holding back her envy. She shot Jin-woo with a look of annoyance, who apologetically declined the request, who just shrugs and grins, clearly unbothered. "I mean, I can't help it if I'm this popular," he said, winking at Yujin as he walks by.
BM, who’d overheard the exchange, chuckles and nudges Seojin, who was helping behind the counter. "Guess Jin-woo’s got a fan club now," he said with a laugh.
Seojin snorts, clearly amused. "Well, I don’t blame them. Who wouldn’t want to get a chance to talk to him?" he teases, making Jin-woo laugh and shrug it off.
Yujin rolls her eyes and continues to work as if it doesn’t bother her while in reality, she kept an eye on them. Unknowingly, this whole interaction was filmed by the fans and let’s say the netizens are gonna have a field day online.
The restaurant was filled with the sound of laughter, chatter, and the clink of plates as the evening rush continued. Even with the distractions of fans and photos, the team works seamlessly together, the atmosphere buzzing with energy as they powered through the dinner service. The chaos only seemed to make the night more fun.
