One Night Stand?

After the trip to the countryside during the break, classes resume at the university, and your new relationship with Yujin continues even in Seoul.

The two of you usually do it at your new place, as the old dorm holds too many bad memories. So you decided to stay at your grandparents' place, which is a bit further from the uni but a lot closer to where Yujin stays.

On the first day of school after the break, you get to meet the person who broke you: Jang Wonyoung. But this time you're a different person. You're much more confident than last semester, and they saw it in how you walk, talk with others, and answer in lectures.

Wonyoung notices it too as she eyes you from across the lecture hall.

You were different. You no longer follow her around during break. You didn't butt in offering your assignments for her group to copy.

You become somewhat attractive to her.

A couple of days have passed, and one of your professors decided to make a group activity for the end of the semester. As he knew that it'd take time, he split the class into groups, and you got grouped up with two lovebirds and the Jang Wonyoung.

The four of you sat together during break and discussed how to handle the task. After agreeing to meet up on the weekend to start your project, you excused yourself to your groupmates, reasoning that you still had something to do.

One of the lovebirds speaks up. "Isn't Kwon Haru a little different?"

"What do you mean, babe?"

"Like, all of a sudden he became cool."

"He's always been cool, babe. Didn't you know he won three national titles in taekwondo back in high school?"

"Ehh?!"

"Yeah, he may be a studious person, but that guy can kick anyone's butt whenever he likes."

Wonyoung, hearing those things, becomes more interested in Haru as she excuses herself from the lovebirds and heads toward the gate to meet her friends as they plan to go to a noraebang.

As Wony and her friends walk toward the place, she notices you are having a meal with an attractive girl she didn't know. She thinks to herself, did that guy see someone in that short amount of time?

Wony was out of it the whole time she was hanging out with her friends. She was thinking about you, a guy who was stupidly in love with her, but now you seem like you don't even care for her.

Meanwhile, Yujin and you are having a casual hangout, talking about random stuff, like how you both miss Jiwon. Then, out of the blue, Yujin asks you: if you're okay if she sleeps with someone, hypothetically, how would you react?

"Ehh... where did that come from, Yujinnie?" you ask.

"Did you hook up with some guy I didn't know of?"

"No... it's not like that, Haru," she says as she holds your hand to reassure you.

"You know my roommate, right?"

"Rei?!"

"Yes, Rei. You know she's really pretty, right? And she's so sexy."

"And so are you, dummy," you cut her off.

"Okay, the thing is, I caught her touching herself while she was sniffing my used panties in the middle of the night."

"What?!"

"Yeah, and y'know, I kinda wanna test it out with her to see if I'm really into girls. But nothing will change between us, right? We're still besties."

"I guess. We're best friends that fuck each other from time to time."

"Glad you understand, Haru," Yujin says as she stands up, then pecks your lips before saying goodbye.

-The Next Day-

You came early to the lecture hall. It's pretty empty at the moment, and you expect low attendance, as it's just a minor and it's a pretty boring class.

So you decided to doze off for a bit. Maybe your seatmate will wake you up if he or she arrives, or before the professor starts his lecture.

Wonyoung arrives in class and decides to sit right beside you. She stares at you while you were napping.

She didn't wake you up. Instead, she brushes your hair when no one was looking, then takes out her notes before the other students and the professor arrive.

The lesson started, and you are still deep asleep. The professor notices it, so he heads toward you and smacks your head with his thick book. Everyone laughs at you.

"Is my subject that boring to you, Mr. Kwon?" the professor asks.

"No, sir!!!"

"Then why are you sleeping in my class? Y'know what, get out of the class and give me a twenty-page research paper on what we are discussing right now!"

"You have until 5:00 p.m., Mr. Kwon."

As he points you to the door, you take a look at the board and jot it down before exiting the hall as you head toward the library.

You get a message from your groupmates that you guys will start doing the project on Friday, and where do you guys want to do it?

Haru: How about a cafe near the campus?

LB1: It's too expensive, and we might not make any progress.

LB2: Agree. We can do it at my dorm, but our dorm mother is pretty strict when it comes to guests.

Wony: What about your place, Haru?

Haru: My place is pretty far from the campus.

LB2: Is your place available, Ms. Jang?

Wony: My place is pretty messy, if you guys are okay with that.

LB1: Then it's agreed. Wonyoung's place on Friday after classes.
