More than Friends

After a few days of house sitting, your relationship with her grows into something more than you could have ever imagined.

You decided to walk around the town to clear your head from everything that happened.

You enjoy your alone time, taking in the scenery and the hustle and bustle of this beautiful town where you are staying for the summer.

You ended up on a beach with little to no foot traffic. You decided to find some shade and rest as you suddenly felt tired from all the walking you had done today.

After reflecting on the past few days with your best friend, how you ended up sleeping with her and becoming friends with benefits, you suddenly felt sleepy and dozed off.

You woke up from your nap and immediately saw a really pretty girl near the barrier basking in the sun.

She noticed you and gave you a smile. You smiled back at her and approached her, trying to make conversation.

"Hi, nice weather today, don't you think?" you awkwardly said to her.

"It is. You seemed so relaxed earlier when you were sleeping beneath the shade," she replied.

You laughed awkwardly. "Ahh... I don't want to be rude or anything, but are you a tourist like me?"

"No, I actually grew up in this town," she replied.

"Really? So you know all the good spots here?!" you said with a hint of excitement in your tone.

"Mmmh..." she nodded.

"If you're not busy, I can show you some local shops where you can get the best deals."

"Really!" You unconsciously grabbed her hand out of excitement. She blushed at your sudden action and shyly pulled her hand away.

"Sorry... I was just excited. May I know what your name is, Miss?"

"Jiwon... Kim Jiwon," she replied.

"Wow, a beautiful name fitting for a beautiful girl," you said.

"My name is Kwon Haru. Nice to meet you, Ms. Jiwon," you smiled as you introduced yourself.

Your flattery made her blush, and she started to walk away as she whispered, "Thanks."

You followed her around the beach while chatting, and then suddenly dark clouds enveloped the sky. A roar of thunder startled her.

"Are you okay?" you asked.

She just nodded. "I guess our little tour will be put on hold for the meantime," she said.

You walked with her toward the stairs back to town when a roar of thunder surprised her, and she lost her balance. Luckily, you were just behind her to catch her from falling completely down the stairs. Unfortunately, she sprained her ankle and had a hard time climbing.

You suggested carrying her, but she declined. Then the rain started falling suddenly, and you turned your back to her and said, "Hop on. It'll be faster to carry you than to support you to your place."

She reluctantly agreed and let you carry her on your back. Jiwon guided you to her place as the rain poured harder.

When you arrived at her place, both of you were soaking wet, and you could feel her body clinging to your back.

"You can drop me now; I need to open the door so we can shelter from the rain."

After entering her home, she hobbled toward the washroom and grabbed some towels so the two of you could dry off.

"Ahhh... Haru, if it's okay with you, I can lend you my dad's clothes so I can wash and dry your wet clothes," Jiwon said to you.

"You don't have to; I can just run back to where I’m staying and change there," you replied.

"No... I insist. You helped me so much by carrying me back home, and I don't want you to get sick," she said, whispering, "especially to a new friend" while blushing.

"If you wouldn't mind, you can shower first so I can wash your clothes while you shower," she shyly suggested.

"No... that would be rude of me to get washed first when I'm just a guest."

"But there's another bathroom upstairs; I can just use that," Jiwon replied to you.

"Then how can you go there when you're injured?" you said.

"I... I..."

You cut her off and said, "Y'know what... I'll assist you up there, and you can leave your clothes in a basket so I can put them in the washer and wash our clothes at the same time."

She agreed, so you helped her up. She first grabbed some clothes from her dad's drawer and handed them to you, then you helped her to the bathroom so she could wash herself.

You waited for her to put her clothes in the basket before heading downstairs.

"Jiwon... just call out to me if you need assistance. I'll just wash our clothes and shower really quick."

You put the clothes in the washer, added the right amount of soap, and turned it on. Then you went to shower in your new friend's bath.

After showering, you changed into her dad's clothes. They were a bit loose, but better than nothing, so you went upstairs again to check on Jiwon.

You waited on the stairs as she exited the bathroom, dressed loosely, and offered to assist her downstairs.

She told you that she wanted to go to the kitchen to prepare some food and hot drinks.

So you assisted her to the kitchen, and while doing so, you asked her why she was alone and where her parents were.

She answered that the parent groups in the town organized a cruise tour, and her parents attended it.

After both of you finished the dishes and drinks, you placed them in the living room first, then returned to assist her.

Jiwon asked you if you wanted to watch some movies, and you agreed, allowing her to decide what to watch.

She selected a romance movie. You didn't mind it and chatted with her about the movie and other stuff while she was all red and blushing the whole time she was with you.
