Best of Friends

Your best friend Yujin invited you to join her housesit at her aunt's rest house for the whole summer.

When you got rejected by the Campus Queen, she noticed that you seemed pretty down the past few days after getting harshly rejected by Jang Wonyoung.

She didn't know all the details but decided to invite you to join her on a vacation/house-sitting at her aunt's place. At first, you were hesitant to join her, as you thought you would definitely just ruin her mood on that trip.

But she insisted that you join her, as it would be boring to go there alone.

You reluctantly agreed because your best friend insisted that you join her.

On the day of departure, you met Yujin at the stop, looking so pretty. You helped her board her luggage on the bus and find the designated seats for the two of you.

You let her take the window seat while you took the aisle. After chatting for a bit, the two of you fell asleep and woke up near the destination.

Walking toward her aunt's place, you noticed that the area was calm and peaceful.

After settling into your own rooms for the stay, Yujin invited you to walk around and explore the place. As the two of you went to the kitchen, Yujin checked the refrigerator, and luckily, it was filled with food and alcohol.

She decided to celebrate for the night by heating up some food and opening some alcohol.

After a few empty bottles of soju, Yujin tried to comfort you while having a few drinks. Suddenly, she confessed that she had a crush on you way back when.

You brushed her hair aside and asked her, "Yujinnie, are you that drunk? Let me help you to your room so you can rest properly."

You carefully helped her up and carried her princess-style to her room. Just when you were about to set her down on the bed, she clutched your neck and pulled you in to her.

She kissed your lips.

The two of you started making out, and as things heated up, she passed out and left you hanging beside her.

So you just back-hugged her and slept the rest of the night.

She woke you up and started teasing you about whether you enjoyed last night.

This made you flustered, and you scrambled to get off the bed, which made Yujin laugh. "Relax, nothing happened, technically."

Timeskip to breakfast:

You asked her about last night, and she just said that kissing doesn't really count as sex, right, while seductively playing with the sausage on her plate.

You scolded her, "Don't play with your food."

Yujin replied, "What are you gonna do about it?"

As you washed the dishes, Yujin invited you to walk around the area, and you accepted.

After you finished your chores, the two of you set off and had a fun time. On the way back, she tugged you and asked if you could go with her to a convenience store, as she needed to grab some stuff.

She bought some drinks and suddenly stared at your feet, giggling as she told you that you could wait outside while she finished shopping.

After exiting the convenience store, you took the bags and saw that she bought another set of soju and beers.

"Aiishh Yujin, are you planning on drinking again?"

When you arrived home, you asked her what she wanted for dinner. She jokingly replied, "You."

"Be serious, Yujin, so I can prepare early," you said, and she replied, "Don't bother; I bought some jokbals and mandu. We can just put those in the air fryer."

After heating up the food and serving it on the living room table, she opened a can of beer and started drinking.

So you asked her, "What's the occasion? Why are we drinking?"

She looked you straight in the eye and said, "I'm just helping my best friend get over his heartbreak."

You replied, "I don't need help; I can get over her just fine."

And she shushed you, then whispered, "And also to get some courage to tell you that I like you."

"Wait, what?! Since when?!"

"But... why didn't you tell me before?!"

Yujin replied, "I did, dummy! You're just head over heels for Wonyoung ever since she arrived."

"I know you wouldn't just get over her and accept my feelings instantly, so I propose we... we be... (whispers) fwb..."

"What were the last words you said? I didn't hear them clearly."

"I said I want to be friends with benefits with you!!"

"Friends with benefits? What's that? We're already friends, Yujin. What kind of benefits do you even need from me?"

"The way I see it, I benefit more from being friends with you than you being friends with me."

"You're smart; you even lend me your notes and tutor me even though we have different courses. Hell, you even invited me over to join you for this vacation."

Yujin chugged the beer in her hand, lunged toward you, kissed you on the lips, and then pushed you toward the sofa.

"Well, you're a big pabo."

"What else can I benefit from you, dummy? All you can do is be my friend and help me relieve my stress from school."

She started to unbutton her shirt while slowly heading toward you.

"Wait... wait... wait!! Yujin, this is wrong!" Then she mounted you and grabbed your face. "What are you gonna do about it?"

She started her assault on your lips. You tried to fight it at first but gave in after you felt hot while making out with your best friend.

She started focusing on your upper lip, and after a minute, you retaliated on her lower lip. As your conscience waned, you grabbed her hips and pulled her closer to you, bringing a smile to your best friend.
