The click of heels against the floor made Aeri’s heart race; she knew that sound now, that soft melody that always resonated through the office’s walls before their ritual began. She kept her eyes on her computer screen, pretending to type when her boss walked inside the room.
Jimin’s heels clicked again as she walked closer to her desk, in a rhythm that echoed her heartbeat. She stopped behind her chair, close enough for Aeri to feel her breath on her neck. “Are you done with this report?”
Aeri’s fingers hovered over the keyboard, fighting the urge to arch her back and look up at her. She bit down her lip and nodded slowly. “I’m almost done, I just need to finish this section.” She said as she typed a few words down on the document.
Jimin gripped the arms of her chair and leaned down to read the screen over her shoulder, causing her to shiver at the sudden proximity. “Let me see,” she said in a low voice.
Aeri could feel her chest pressing against her back, smell her perfume even. Her boss was cold and charming, but also the type of CEO who expected perfection. She was harsh, demanding and gorgeous. Saying that she was Aeri’s type would be an understatement; she always knew how to make her fold, unravel and kneel.
Her breath hitched as Jimin leaned closer, her eyes scanning the document with a critical gaze. “It’s not perfect,” she muttered, her breath ghosting over Aeri’s ear. “You missed a comma, fix it.” She said as her fingers tapped impatiently on the armrest.
Aeri gulped and deliberately took her time to fix the comma, her fingers moving slowly over the keys. She knew exactly what she was doing and when she finally hit save, she leaned back in her chair, purposely arching her back. “Done,” she purred and Jimin’s patience snapped.
She gripped the chair tighter, her voice dropping to a threatening whisper. “You know what happens when you test my patience Aeri.” She leaned down further, her lips brushing against the shell of her ear. “I don’t have time for games today.”
Aeri couldn’t help but shiver at the threatening tone in addition to her boss’s lips pressed against her ear. She turned her head slightly, their faces only a few inches apart. “Maybe I want to play,” she whispered back defiantly, her heart pounding in her chest.
Jimin narrowed her eyes. “You don’t want this,” she warned, her voice husky. She grabbed her chin firmly between two fingers and forced their faces even closer. “That’s your last chance to behave.”
Aeri’s breath caught in her throat and her eyes locked onto hers. She knew that not backing down would cause her trouble, but the mere thought was exciting. “Make me,” she whispered back boldly, tilting her chin slightly against Jimin’s fingers.
Jimin lost it at the defiance, crashing their lips together. Her hand remained on her chin and the other trailed down her waist, holding it firmly. Aeri gasped into her mouth, her hands automatically grabbing onto Jimin’s blazer for support. Jimin took advantage of this and deepened the kiss, pushing Aeri back against the chair, standing over her as if warning her of what might happen if she played again.
“I should fire you for being such a tease,” Jimin groaned against her lips, pulling on her bottom lip.
Aeri’s eyes fluttered open, her lips now swollen from the kiss curving into a smirk. “Maybe you should,” she replied in between heavy breaths.
Jimin’s hand traveled from her chin to her throat, squeezing it gently. “You think this is a joke?” She leaned down to kiss her again, biting down her lip. “I could ruin everything you have right now if I wanted.”
Aeri let out a choked moan, her pupils dilating as Jimin’s grip tightened around her throat. “Maybe you could,” she admitted slowly. “But you won’t.”
Jimin’s smirk widened as she released her lip with a pop. “You’re so sure of yourself, aren’t you?” She lowered her voice and tightened her grip on her throat slightly.
Aeri tried hard to fold completely under her touch and the psychological thrill of being topped by her boss. “Yes but,” she swallowed hard and held her gaze full on. “You like me too much to ruin me.”
Jimin’s hold on her throat tightened for a few seconds before releasing it to run her fingers along her jaw again, forcing her head back. “You think I like you too much to teach you what happens when you try to challenge me?”
Aeri let out a gasp and a trembling breath when she let go of her throat. “M–maybe,” she whispered and ran her fingers across her chest. “I’m not scared, Ms. Yu.”
Jimin’s jaw clenched. “Get up.”
Aeri hesitated, not knowing what was awaiting her. “Now,” Jimin added coldly. She nodded and pushed the chair back to stand up, heart hammering in her chest from adrenaline. She could feel Jimin’s presence behind her but couldn’t see her.
“Hands on the desk,” Jimin ordered.
Aeri didn’t argue for once and obeyed, pressing her palms against the cold surface. The room was silent except for the sound of their breaths and what sounded like her boss removing her blazer.
She felt a hand cupping her jaw and two fingers pressing against her lips, forcing her to open her mouth.
