“Wow she’s pretty”
“Who?”
“The one with pink hair smiling next to the window!” you point towards the side of the room with the blinding sunlight.
“Oh?” your friend looks towards the window and squints. “Ahh her! I heard her name is Vivi and she’s got a solo called ‘Everyday I Love You’. It’s not bad.”
“Really?” you pull out your phone and search it up. You quickly pull out your wired earbuds, plug them in, and play the video. The intro sounds fitting for how you picture Vivi: soothing, soft, and beautiful. “Hey this is pretty good,” nudging your friend.
Your friend rolls their eyes knowingly. They say something to you, probably something sarcastic, but it gets drowned out by the music.
When the rap part comes up, you notice other faces you’ve seen before. You look up to see Vivi talking with those same people. You nudge your friend again, “Hey are those other LOONA members too?”
“Yep. There’s-”
As they begin to point and name them, Vivi turns towards you two. You quickly redirect your friend’s hand away from them and towards something else. Unfortunately, that happens to be a woman bending over. A rather voluptuous woman in a dress a bit to short. With a random breeze that comes through to lift the dress and reveal… more than usual.
You blink once.
Then twice.
Then rapidly enough to make sure you see correctly. Wait, correctly?
You glance towards Vivi, who had started turning towards you and now follows your friend’s redirected point.
At that point, you’re quickly trying to stand up and do something. In your haste, your forgotten phone falls. You feel a pull from the cord, dragging your head down a second and forcing you to realize your phone is about to hit the floor. You try to switch from standing up to catching the phone but clumsily fail at both. You miss grabbing the phone. Instead, it gets bumped it away, which causes your conveniently loose cord to get pulled out of it’s jack.
And so both you and your phone hit the floor, fortunately both unbroken.
How do you know your phone is still functional? Because without the earbuds to contain the music, it starts playing at a rather loud volume.
Right at the part of, “I love You, I need you”. With the phone between you and Vivi. You look up to see her looking down at the music and your not sure whether it was better to have been caught watching her video or catching an eyeful of someone.
