Authour’s POV
“No!!!”
Jane had stabbed someone and when she looked, she realized she had stabbed Y/N. This shocked her and she let go of the knife and fell to the ground, shivering in fear. As for Yeji, seeing Y/N being stabbed shocked her as he started to puke out blood from his mouth. Unexpectedly, Aetri and Yuna were walking to the hospital to visit Y/N. The two of them heard the commotion and saw what happened. This made Yuna scream in shock as Aetri told Yuna to go get help which she did. Aetri ran towards Jane, pinning her down. As for Yeji, she was holding on to Y/N.
“O… oppa…”
Yeji held onto Y/N’s hand tightly, shivering and crying. Yeji continued to cry as she held him close, not wanting to let go.
“O… oppa… please… stay with me…” Yeji cried.
“Ye… ye… yeji ah…”
Yeji was surprised and realized that it was Y/N calling her name.
“O… oppa?” Yeji held onto Y/N even closer.
“I… am… sorry… for… not… recognising… you… earlier… back… then…” Y/N stuttered.
“No… please… don’t… say… that…”
Y/N smiled, putting his left hand on Yeji’s cheek, trying to wipe away her tears. Yeji still cried as Y/N’s smile slowly faded, fainting soon after. Seeing this made Yeji cry even louder as Yuna came over with several people.
Ten Months Later…
Yeji’s POV
“Come on May! You are gonna be late for tuition!” I called her from the living room.
“Ok unnie! Oh I mean omma!” May came over from her room.
I chuckled at May as we held hands and exited the house. As we walked over to the tuition center, I started to think of what to eat for dinner. There were many foods I wanted to eat but I remembered that it was best to ask May what she wanted.
“Hey May, what would you like to eat for dinner?” I asked her.
“Hmm.. can we have chicken rice?” May asked me back.
I nodded my head and we soon arrived at the tuition center. I gave her a hug as she asked me if Appa could join us. I chuckled and nodded my head as I watched May enter the tuition center. I took out my phone and texted May’s Appa to ask him to join us for dinner. I left the place and headed out quietly to look for my unnie since she had asked to meet while May was having tuition. I quickly headed over and thankfully I was not late.
“Yeju Unnie!” I waved, seeing her standing outside the cafe we agreed to meet.
“Lucy ya!!” She called me as we hugged out.
We then entered the cafe and ordered drinks, taking a seat away from the windows. I sipped my coffee as Yeju unnie asked me how it was like to be a parent to May for the past few months.
“It was ok. At least I had help from the members during our free time since May’s appa is always out for work,” I explained.
“I see. Why do you not call him by his name though?” unnie asked me.
I explained that I only mention his name when in private and not in public spaces. This made unnie chuckle, asking me when I would bring him to see her. I shrugged my shoulders, saying that she should be able to see him this upcoming week.
“Oh wow really? Then can you bring him with May for my upcoming wedding this Saturday evening? It would be great for him to sit with us too!” Unnie spoke in an excited voice.
“Well, I’ll try to convince him!” I said, chuckling.
Unnie also chuckled as we continued to chat about her wedding and she constantly sounded excited.
