Yeji’s POV
I saw Y/N oppa’s cheeks flush red and he seemed like he was trying to stay composed. I noticed this and something came into my mind. I took off my mask and leaned closer to him. I noticed Y/N oppa was looking at me in the eyes and went forward to give him a kiss to the lips. After kissing him, I heard an audible gasp which made me turn around to see Lia and the fan giving shocked faces. This made me mouth what and the fan just looked away. Lia walked over after cutting the apples, asking us if we wanted to eat the apple.
“Thanks Lia,” I said, taking a slice of apple and fed Y/N oppa who just ate it without asking.
“Seriously. If you want to kiss him, you should do it in a more private setting,” Lia said, giving me a sus look.
I rolled my eyes, turning to look at Y/N oppa who just asked if he could have another slice of apple. I took another slice from Lia and handed it to him, which he ate.
“You two are starting to look like a couple,” Lia said, chuckling.
“Well that is because oppa doesn’t mind me feeding him apples. Right oppa?” I turned to look at him.
Y/N’s POV
When Yeji asked me that question, I only nodded my head and smiled. I still could feel my left hand shaking which made me purposely hide it underneath the blanket. Yeji then noticed what I did and took off the blanket, asking me why I hid my hand. I dared not to answer her until the day shift ward doctor came to my bed after checking on other patients. Me and the two girls greeted the doctor as the doctor asked how I was feeling.
“I am good. Dr Choi,” I said, trying to smile.
“Great Y/N ssi. Your parents were speaking to me outside earlier about your parkinson disease diagnosis in Singapore. They handed me your reports and I went through them. The specialist will be coming today but I’d like to take a look at your left hand please,” Dr Choi said.
Yeji nudged me and I quickly raised my left hand, which was still shaking. Dr Choi looked at my hand and took down notes. He thanked me and said that he would be back once the specialist arrived. The three of us thanked Dr Choi and we watched him leave the ward. I sighed and looked at the girls. Yeji came forward to give me a hug as I started to cry softly.
“There there, you’ll be fine, oppa,” Yeji said.
“Yeah oppa. Look on the bright side! Yeji loves you and promises to take good care of you,” Lia giggled.
This made me break the hug and try to wipe away the tears. Yeji then told me that she would help take care of me no matter what. This made me smile a little, thanking Yeji. Soon, I heard a camera shutter which made me and Yeji turn around to see that Lia was taking photos. This made me chuckle as Yeji asked me if I could bring her to see May when she visit Singapore.
“Wait… who is May?” Lia asked.
“Oh she is an orphan living in a Singapore orphanage where I always volunteer. We are close. She even likes Yeji,” I explained.
I looked at Yeji who nodded her head, showing her photo with May and I. I also looked at the photo as Lia said that we looked like a family in the picture. Both Yeji and I chuckled but I explained to Lia that I could bring May to see them if they wanted to.
“Really? But I’d rather you bring her to meet us here,” Yeji suggested.
“Yeah I agree with Yeji,” Lia added.
“That’s a good idea but I can give it a try,” I said.
“Why don’t you adopt her and bring her into the family?”
Me and the two girls turned around and saw that my parents had returned into the ward which surprised the three of us. I noticed my mum smirking and I realized she was gonna say something.
“Why didn’t you tell me you are dating Lucy? Or should I say Yeji?” she said.
Hearing what my mum said, I did not answer her immediately. I then noticed my mum giving Yeji a hug which Yeji accepted. Lia chuckled and I just folded my arms.
“I am glad Miss Yeji is here to watch over you. At least your dad and I know that you are in good hands,” My mum said.
“Right mum. Why don’t you and Dad go out shopping or something?” I said, sounding annoyed to them.
“That sounds like a good idea son! Miss Julia, could you show me and my husband to a good place for shopping?” My mum asked Lia.
