Yeji’s POV
“Can you… be my… boyfriend?” I asked Y/N oppa.
He showed a rather confused face and I asked him the same question. Oppa did not say a word and looked down. I sighed, thinking he may reject me but then he looked up and cupped my face with his two hands. I was surprised by his actions but he smiled at me.
“To me, you are still that kid I first met back in Seoul but now you are a grown up,” He said, kissing me on the cheek.
I was surprised by the kiss and looked at him. Y/N oppa smiled and held my hand, telling me that he would send me back to the hotel. I nodded my head and we took a taxi back to the hotel.
Y/N’s POV
As we were on the way to the hotel, I looked at Yeji who just placed her head on my shoulder and slept. Seeing her sleep made me smile, as I wondered about the future. I could feel a phone vibrate and when I looked down, I saw that Yeji was holding onto her phone. I quietly took the phone from her hand and the next thing she did was to hug me. I felt my face flush but looked at the phone to see that it was Lia calling. I answered the phone but I did not speak first.
“Hello, Yeji?” Lia asked.
“Er Lia. Yeji is asleep,” I answered.
Lia seemed surprised but I could hear the other girls giggling on the phone. I told her that we were on the way back to the hotel and Lia understood. She told me to take good care of Yeji and I said I would. I could hear more giggling and hung up the phone.
“We are here,” the taxi driver said.
I thanked the driver and paid for the fee. I looked at Yeji and she was still sleeping. I decided to carry her from the taxi and enter the hotel. By luck, there were no fans around and when I entered the lobby, I noticed four girls sitting down. They started to giggle and I knew it was the Itzy members. I walked past them but they instinctively got up and asked me how my date was.
“It went well as you can see Yeji sleeping,” I said, smiling.
I could hear the girls saying something but decided to just ignore it. I followed Lia to her room and placed Yeji on the bed. Yeji smiled and I looked at Lia who thanked me for bringing her back.
“Not a problem. When will you guys be going back to Korea?” I asked.
“That would be tomorrow morning. Sorry for the troubles that Yeji has caused,” Lia said.
I smiled and shook my head, telling her that all was good. I soon left the hotel afterwards only to bump into Jane. I felt annoyed seeing her as she approached me to ask where I went. I told her that it was none of her business and asked her to leave me alone. She refused, grabbing me by the arm.
“Let go!” I said.
“No! Come back to me!” she shouted.
I tried to shake her off but accidentally pushed her to the ground. I went to her and asked her if she was alright. She pushed me away, calling me a cheat which clearly made no sense. I walked off and headed back home, ignoring Jane.
Authour’s POV
Unknown to Y/N, Jane had planned something that would affect him and Yeji. The following morning, Yeji got up and realized she was in the hotel.
Yeji’s POV
“Oh gosh. What happened?” I asked.
“Y/N oppa brought you back. You fell asleep and he carried you to the bed,” Lia explained.
