Chapter 10

Yeji’s POV

“Hands off my boyfriend!” 

Y/N oppa and I turn to see that the person shouting was Jane. We were surprised to see her but she came forward and slapped me in the face.

Y/N’s POV

Jane slapping Yeji in the face took me by surprise as I quickly stood in front of Yeji to protect her.

“What are you doing? I told you before, we have broken up! Also, you are not supposed to be here!” I shouted at Jane. 

Jane shouted back at me to tell me to get out of her way which I refused. Jane then started to make a fuss and tried to hit Yeji which made me block Jane and push Jane away. I pushed Jane too hard that she fell to the ground. I looked at Yeji and asked her if she was alright. She nodded her head as I turned to see the security coming. I looked at Jane who quickly stood up, telling Yeji to watch her back and ran off before the security could stop her. The security chased after Jane as Aetri came to us with the other ITZY members.

“Unnie, are you ok?” Yuna ran towards Yeji and gave her a hug.

Yeji nodded her head and the girls thanked me for protecting their leader. I smiled, telling the girls that Aetri and I should follow them back to the hotel. They all agreed as I texted Joey to head home first while Aetri and I accompanied ITZY to the hotel. Aetri and I followed behind in our car as the ride to the hotel was smooth. The girls got off and headed to the hotel lobby. We watched on to ensure the girls safely entered. Once we felt everything was ok, we entered the car but I heard someone walking towards me. I turned to see that it was Yeji. 

“What’s the matter?” I asked.

“Can we just talk privately please?” Yeji answered.

I turned to look at Aetri who just smiled and entered his car. I signaled to Yeji and she boarded the car with me. I sat next to Aetri while Yeji sat behind me. No words were exchanged but Aetri drove us to his own home which surprised both of us. 

“Don’t worry. This is the best place for you two to get some privacy. I will be heading to my parents’ home. Good night,” he said, handing me his house keys and leaving.

I looked at Yeji as I told her to take a seat on the sofa. She nodded head and I went into the kitchen to try to pour water. I realized my left hand was still shaking which made me shout loudly.

Yeji’s POV

I heard Y/N oppa shouting which made me get up and head to the kitchen. I was surprised to see him sitting on the floor, holding onto his left hand. I reacted by going to him and hugging him from behind. I patted his head, asking him if he was alright. He did not answer me immediately as I grabbed him by his left hand, feeling the hand shaking.

“Why is your hand shaking so badly?” I asked him.

He shook his head, explaining that he was unsure how it happened. I looked at him, asking him if he had gone to see the doctor. He shook his head, telling me that he was afraid of what the doctor would say.

“Why do you have to be scared? You just have to be brave and face facts. Like what I did back in the Philippines. I confessed my feelings for you but I still won’t forget how you were shocked and shouted at me and my members,” I said, showing him a displeased face. 

Y/N oppa looked at me with a sorry look as I urged him to go see the doctor tomorrow. I then picked him up and brought him to the sofa, sitting side by side. I looked at him as he looked down, unable to face me. I gave him a hug, comforting him and telling him that I would follow him to see the doctor tomorrow. We broke the hug and he started to cry. I started to feel my heart ache as I hugged him again.

Authour’s POV

The next morning, Yeji woke up first to find herself asleep on the sofa with Y/N laying on her lap. Yeji looked at him and giggled. 

Yeji’s POV

Seeing Y/N oppa sleeping made me giggle as he started to get up. I asked him if he slept well and he nodded his head. He looked at his left hand and I noticed it was still shaking. I then asked Y/N oppa if he was ready to see a doctor. He nodded his head and said he would go wash up. 

“I’ll try to get some clothes for you here. They may not fit but you can try them,” he said.

I nodded my head and followed him to the room where he got an oversized t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I thanked him and we both went to wash up. Once we finished washing up, Y/N oppa gave me a cap and a mask for me to wear. I thanked him and we headed out to see the doctor. No one actually looked at both of us and when it was Y/N’s oppa’s turn, we entered the room.
