"Any upcoming schedules I have except for the fanmeeting tomorrow?", Momo asked while focusing on typing her fingers to the phone.

"So far, none Momoring.", you answered after swallowing a bite of your chocolate pie you're currently munching.

"I hope I don't have any else to enter.", Momo sighed, dropping her phone to her lap and looked at the window of the car moving; watching the surroundings getting passed by. You noted her tiny mood shift and instinctively deduced what it meant.

"Neither have I, Momoring; you haven't been able to get any adequate rest these days." you agreed.

"As you," she said, looking at you. "You're being brought into this because of me."You rolled the empty pack of chocolate pie you'd just eaten into your bag before staring at her warmly, touched by her return of concern. "I appreciate your concern, Momo-shi, but that's part of my job; I have to keep you as assisted as you need me."

"Do me a favor will you?"

"I'm listening.", you leaned your ears closer to her, moving one inch near your gap to her.

"I need you to rest with me if we acquire one on Thursday," she stared, smiling at you. Your heart softened at the gesture and her warm comments about the idol you're managing.

"Deal," you said, nodding and giving her a thumbs up. She giggled till she burst out laughing, and you joined her. She raised her head and noticed something that got her snicker.

"And also to you, Knight-oppa," she pushed playfully behind the seat where her personal driver, Knight, is sitting, in charge of controlling the wheels to guide them all to their next destination. "You know I can see you pouting at the rear-view mirror.", she chuckled.

"Geez, I really thought you guys forgot about me being with you guys here.", Knight sulked, tilting hs head aside to get his voice closer on Momo who is sitting in the back.

"Ofcourse we won't. I was about to mention you next but then-", Momo remembered again his poor adorable expression he had after still realizing that he thought he is being left over by them.

"Yah, do I look funny to you, Momoring?!", he bickered, sulking intensified more as his forehead crunched at the sight of the idol he's serving laughing a bit at him along with her manager which is you.

"Knight-oppa, we're sorry okay?Just chill ... you know we- LOOK OUT!!!", you were about to finish your owrds of half sincere comfort to your friend and driver Knight when you noticed that a car moving in front of you all three started going backwards.

"Oh- shit!" Knight was alerted by you and swiftly stomped his brake to stop the van, avoiding a collision with the other car that had turned to the right and stopped, blocking the road.

"You guys okay?", Knight looked behind to check on you and Momo. Both responded with a reassuring nod. Knight got relieved. "Jesus, what the heck is with that driver.", he said while stretching his neck after he felt a minor ache at the impact he received from his chair due to the brake.

"Stay here, I'll check on to see what's wrong.", Knight was about to open the door to go outside and join the rest of the people who got curious to find out what happened to the passengers and the driver of the car who almost crashed with your car you're riding when all three of you saw the door opened, spitting out the male driver who crashed then crawled on the road.

"Knight, wait!", thanks to your command, Knight followed and slowly closed the door again as he remained his grip on the handle while he, you and Momo kept observing the strange behaviour of the driver.

He stood up slowly and held his left shoulder which Momo immediately stated what all three of you noticed right ahead.

"H-his.. shoulder... it's bleeding."

The driver started muttering some words that was unable for them to read nor hear through inside the car but for clarification, this is what the man said.

"P-please... please help me. My wife..."

He saw your car and was about to approach the door near Knight's spot when the wife jumped out of the car and attacked her husband frrom behind, tackling him on the ground.

You and Momo screamed in surprise while Knight remained confused and shocked. "Woah... what the hell?!"

Knight peeked at the window and when he finally got a clear view of what's going on outside. He gulped heavily and sweated very nervously. "Uhh... guys... you have to take a look at this."

You took the turn to discover what Knight is witnessing while Momo followed you from behind. As you also saw what is happening, your breath stopped and got your hand covered in your mouth. Momo then screamed again in terror at the sight of...

... the wife aggresively biting off the flesh of her husband's nape, already lying lifeless on the ground as pool of blood forming in his head.

"Oh my god.", you said, dumbfounded.

"Oppa, LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!!!", Momo yelled at Knight who is also distancing away from the window, placing his butt back at the cushion of the seat.

The idol's horrified loud voice unknowingly flowed along with the rest of the people outside who already saw the disgusting scenario, running away from it.

"Buckle up your seats, girls!!!", Knight grabbed the steering wheel when suddenly the wife started chasing a civilian and few second later, the husbandstarted twitching his body and quickly rose up, turning his head to the window where he got to have eye contact with Knight who is stunned.

"KNIGHT!!! W-WHAT IS THAT?!?" Momo exclaimed, peering down at the husband's grotesque, abomination altered appearance. Compared to his usual humanly appearance, he now has crimson colored eyes, black veins coming out in his skin, all holes in his ears, nose, and even his mouth are bleeding.

"FUCKING HELL, IS THIS REAL?!", Knight had his senses operated back when you started hitting his seat and shook his body awake. He started activating the engine of the car again, spinning the steering wheel just in time for the disfigured guy to start banging on the window.

You and Momo's scared screams resonates while Knight cursing on his breath while driving backwards away from the chaos presented in front of all of you where people started chasing and eating down others like a feast.

3 DAYS LATER

After successfully fleeing the hellish landscape that had Seoul oblivious of being its beginning point for a screwed-up transition of an incident, you and Momo proceeded to Momo's dorm and spent three days hiding there.

Listening to the news, you learned that something you never believed would happen in reality had just crossed it out of your mind when the newscaster revealed that the capital of South Korea was experiencing a "zombie epidemic." According to the evidence, they explained how they came to call the scenario as such based on videos and photos taken in various places of Seoul.

So far, the virus's origin is unclear, but the portion where you could completely comprehend was that every single Korean person is in threat at any moment and from any place. To safeguard the safety of those Koreans who are still alive, the newscaster stated that the authorities encouraged everyone to stay inside wherever they are and not walk outside for any reason or let anyone in easy.

Before the news ended, the government assured that they would dispatch some troops to search and rescue very soon and promised that once they had an information that can be transmitted to the scientists to build a cure or vaccine to stop the madness, they will proceed right away for experimentation. So far, their priority is to bring the people into safety.

Back to the present, owing to the government's update and statement on the current issue, you've all put your anxieties and nervousness aside.

While you were having a serious chat about your preparations for surviving this pandemic, Knight spontaneously threw out his thoughts to give their conversation a break.

"I honestly can't believe this is happening in real life," Knight remarked, staring at the massive window pane that locks and divides Momo's interior and the balcony. He can see the overview of the darkened, nightmarish atmosphere of Seoul where he could still get a glimpse of other zombies running and walking like crazy. "Never thought that we will be placed ourselves into something we never thought that we usually see in movies or anything fiction will turn out real."

Momo lies back on the couch, slouching, as her face filled with sadness and longing. "I wonder what my parents are doing right now; they probably heard about the outbreak here in South Korea, and knowing that their daughter is in the mentioned country, maybe they're so worried about me," she said quietly.

You saw from your peripheral vision that she began wiping her eyes with her palms, signifying that she's tearing up.

You moved seats and sat alongside her, hugging her to soothe her. "Shhhh, don't worry, Momoring. We will do our best to keep ourselves safe, okay? I feel you too, my parents are out there and I have no idea how they are now, but look at me, I'm still trying to stay positive... because that's my only way not to make things worse for myself when I'm literally facing a difficult situation right now."

Her tears was making the sleeve of your shirt soaked but you don't mind it at all. This girl needs assistance and show of caring right now.

"You have me and Knight and we got you too. We are in a life-threatening challenge, and as long as we are together, we will make sure to protect one another no matter what happens.", you added a heartful message to her to lessen up the gloomy mood and overflowing sorrowful emotion.

You gave her an assuring nod which you waited for to return the same, and gladly she does.
