"Alright everyone, class dismissed.
Be safe on your home and enjoy your weekend.", your teacher said after all of you heard the bell rang which indicates that the class hours is now over.

"Psst Y/N.", one of your classmate called you while you were fixing your things.

"Oh hey bud, wassup?", you said, turning your head at him while putting the books inside your bag.

"Are you in for tomorrow? My bro got some new game he just bought yesterday.", he said while placing his hand on the top of the table.

"We wanted to try it so wanna join us complete the gameplay?", your another classmate said, appearing from the back of your first classmate who called you.

"Uhh you know I would love to guys but sorry I got something to do actually.", you said while scratching your nape as an act to pretend like you're regetting this. You love video games and you want to see the new release, yes; but you have other priority for tomorrow and you can just set aside those favorite of yours for a while because for you, this one is most important. "I have a sched for tomorrow and it's really important so if that's okay to you two?"

"No it's fine we understand.", your first classmate said, swiping his hands off. "I mean it's just a game afterall and it's better if you'll rather focus on what matter you have.", he shrugged.

"Yeah. Just give me a review about it okay?"

"Got it. See you next week!", then they both start picking up their bags from their seats as they walked out of the classroom.

"You too!", you shouted back at them. Now you returned your focus at what you're doing... including at someone who is secretly listening to the conversation between you three.

"And that's simple.", you gave her quick smile, clicking your tongue.

"You really don't need to do that.", your another classmate and your childhood bestfriend Kim Dahyun said while she shook her head and stroked the upper bridge of her nose. That's what she always do whenever she expresses disapproval, stress or being problematic.

"Why not? Just let me, okay?", you faced her, eyeing her directly. "In fact, I would really want to spend my time and have fun with you instead. We don't get to hang out for past weeks, right?", you frowned because you were pretty missing it so much. This is what you always do with her and oh it's such a wonderful time for the both of you.

"School's been pretty tough for us.", she said then sighed.

"That's why I did that. Now, your choice of place tomorrow okay?", then you offered her a fist bump which she accepts with an addition of her answer by nodding at you while she slowly smile.

(THE NEXT DAY)

"As much as I'm loving the view. I think it's the best for my heart not to look down.", you said after gulping down on your throat as you tried another one to look down which you can see the entire people around in this place while riding the ferris wheel. Yup, Dahyun chose amusement park as a place for you and her to go.

"Since when did you got afraid of heights?", she said while laughing at you.

"I don't know, just now maybe?", you said. You ain't scared of heights though but there's a limit to you.
The exact height you can still accept is like being on a 7th floor of a building. What exceeds more on that is already a no-no to you.

"Come here. Sit with me so you can really feel that you're aint alone.", she tapped the empty space beside her to signal you to seat which you accepted after switching your gaze at the one she's tapping and also at her. After that, she wrapped her one arm around the back of your neck, giving you a smug face. It kinda shocked her a bit depe inside because she felt your body shaking a little bit but when she had you near her, she noticed that your shaking slowly disappeared. "Did it tone down your fear?

"It did.", you nodded. She then continued using her phone while you just looked around at the atmosphere, dark clouds with dots of light coming from every little sparkling stars all over in it.

"I finally saw it.", she said out of nowhere while looking at her phone as she grinned.

She took away the phone placed on her lap and moved it next to her thigh then she faced you.
"U-uhm hehe... it's just... Y/N I can trust you with this one so you'll be the only person I'll be sharing you this okay?" she said between her stutters and pauses.

"Sure."

"You know him right?", then she showed you what is in her screen. You saw a profile picture of a famiilar guy which you always see definitely inside the school.

"Oh yeah that's the basketball captain of son of a teacher in our campus right?", you said after continously snapping your fingers as if you're trying to remember who is that guy again.
"Was that Mr. (Korean surname)?"

"Yeah.".

" What's with him?", you looked at his face for a while then you looked back ay her, then you pointed the phone with a bit of a shock on your face when you saw some spots of red appearing from her cheeks. You know that's the signal. "Wait, you like him?"

"I-I guess so?", she shyly shrugged, just chuckled at it. "These past few days I can't help but to look at him whenever I see him.", she answered, biting her lower lip while not looking at you to hide the blush and the large smile she's trying to keep from being revealed on her face.

"You find him attractive?", you raised your eyebrow.

"He is."

"Oh. Well, does that mean you have a crush on him", you side eyed her while she's taking the look at the number of reacts her crush got from his profile picture.

"Yeah.", she said while smiling She then had you locked in her stare with her puppy eyes. "Please don't tell this to anyone okay? I-i'm kinda bit scared if my secret got spread to everyone too early.", she looked downwards.

"So you're deciding for the right time to do it?", she only responded for a nod. You did the same too, but suddenly you don't know what is wrong with you.

You may be smiling in front of her now, but it doesn't seem real. It feels... forced. Your reaction to what she shared to you was mixed.

You didn't quite liked the sound of Dahyun admiring somebody else.

As a friend, you need to be proud and supportive for Dahyun... yet why does it feel deep inside that you're judging the guy already as if you already know him.

"Okay then. Your secret's safe with me."

"You are the best bro, Y/N!", then she ruffled your hair, making it messy but you didn't care. She loves doing it to you anyways.

The next day after you and Dahyun went to the amusement park, you finally got introduced properly this time to Hajoon.

It made it even more sense why Dahyun developed feelings for him is because the two are seatmates at one of your subjects.

Hajoon is athletic, smart, cool, handsome (yeah you are a male and it sounds a bit wrong to compliment your fellow guy like that, but that's the truth though.), and charming. Comparing him to you, you're just a meh. That's how you describe yourself.

But that's not only the case you need to disregard. There's also a time where you feel down whenever you see her and Hajoon interact.

For you, you're just being dramatic as if Hajoon is trying to steal Dahyun away from you AS A FRIEND, but you know that Dahyun is just doing these to do some moves from him.

Yet the possibility you're trying to believe in isn't enough to make yourself fine witnessing that.

So as a way to cheer up yourself, you started to stood out even more as a friend to her. You treat her even more like what you usually do to her, which makes Dahyun surprised. You became even more cheerful, caring, protective and loving to her.

She's liking it but it feels a bit different seeing you being like this.

But ofcourse, upgrading something doesn't mean it will only result in positive.

You two are in the gymnasium right now. Two reasons: one is because Dahyun decided for the two of you to eat lunch here and second, to watch Hajoon play basketball.

While Dahyun was enjoying, for you it feels like you just slowly losing your appetite whenever her face glows when Hajoon makes a point.

Hajoon threw the ball onto the ring but it didn't shoot. Instead it just bounced onto the rim then afterwards, it bounced on the floor...

You saw that quickly and thanks to how active your reflex is, you immediately catched the ball; stopping it from nearly hitting Dahyun's lap but that didn't made Dahyun stop from flinching because she really thought that she was gonna hit.

"Yeah you should be thankful because if I didn't, you're dead.", your voice suddenly became deeper as if you were threatening Hajoon that his soul would go down in hell once he fucked up again.

"Oh... uhm s-sorry again. I promise i'll be more careful next time.", Hajoon just bowed his head in apology. You were liking this but hey, uno reverse card.. Dahyun doesn't. She feels pity for her crush.

"Thank you. Enjoy our game!", he then reached for the ball and and walked awau from the two of you. Dahyun then looked at you who's clenching both of your fists as it lays on the top of your knees.

"If only I could punch him straight in the face. He should be really careful next time.", you spat out harshly at him.

"Chill, Y/N. It's not his fault.", Dahyun carefully caressed your shoulder but to her shock, you moved away and faced her instead in disbelief.

"WELL HE IS. He's the one who's holding the ball before it almost about to knock you out!", your voice became quite louder but not enough for the players, the coach and other students to be heard.

"Why are you mad, Y/N? Don't blame him okay? I didn't even-

"Then what if I didn't save it? What if there's something bad happened to you? You know how much I care for you that my worries about you will kill me slowly. When it happens, would you still be able t-", you started to express all of your concerns but Dahyun can't take it anymore so she interrupted you to shut you up instead.

Why such make it a big deal to you?", then you quickly blinked as if her words snapped you back from reality. She's making a point anyways and she's right.

"Are you having some trouble, Y/N?", Dahyun asked you, holding your hand.

"Trust me I want to Dahyun but... how can I if I couldn't even figure it out myself.", you said to her. Your look literally screams problematic right now. And what you're saying is also true. You really can't figure out what is happening to you. You didn't saw yourself being like this from your whole time before with Dahyun being as your bestfriend.

"If that so then maybe I should give you some time alone for a while to think about it, Y/N.", she leaned her beautifil face closer to you as she wrapped her arm around the back of your neck. "Don't forget to call me if you can't do it on your own okay? You know I would be willing to help especially for you.", she then gave you a pat to the back befire standing up and slowly exit the gymnasium by her own. You can't see that Dahyun was sighing and worried about you, hoping that whatever issue you're going at, you can recover from it and she will be there in time when you'll gonna need her.

" Wait, Dahyun it's just... please don't... don't leave.", you raised your arm as you positioned it like you were trying to catch Dahyun but the more she's going too far away from you, your voice becomes lower.

"What is going on with me? I don't understand.", you then grabbed both sides of your head in frustration.

You then frowned as you were left alone for you to have some time on what Dahyun suggested you to do.

You did for the rest of the day after the class, until...

"Hey Dahyun. You got a wide grin all over your face.", you noticed as you saw this tofu walking towards you with large grin on her face, her shining white teeth being the highlight.

"Just having a great day.", Dahyun said. She inhaled deeply, sucking the fresh air around you and her.

"Keep it. It suits you so well. You're just as beautiful as your smile.", you said, placing your hands at your pocket as you take a look first at her gorgeous smile before heading back to her appealing face.

"Hehe thanks for that Y/N.", she giggled.

"So, mind telling me why?"

"Hajoon and I are now a couple Y/N! Can you believe that?! I didn't expect to like me too!", as you were hearing what Dahyun is sharing to you, you felt your heary clenched tightly as it being formed like a ball.

You were out of yourself, stunned and it also feels like you were running out of breathe.

"O-oh... so he confessed earlier.", you gulped and sighed hard at the same time.

"Yeah! He gave me his reasons, and wow... I- I just felt like I'm the luckiest girl in the campus.", she slightly jumped in excitement, she grabbed both the edges of her lower dress.

"I-I'm glad he made you feel like that. I'm happy for you, Dahyun.", your voice cracked a little but thank God it didn't made Dahyun alerted from it. It concerned you because that doesn't sound and will not end up well, you know that.

"Thank you!!!", she offered you a fistbump which you slowly accepted it. You made it clear to yourself that this will be the only symbol of what will be your relationship to her until the future.

"DAHYUN!", both of you heard that familiat voice coming from a distance.

"H-hi.", she swayed some strands of her hair on the back of her ear. The sight of these two being close to each other while you only at their side is such a torture to you.

"Hey Y/N.", Hajoon looked at you to greet you. You just responded with a nod an a forced smile.

"Uhm so do you mind if we go out this Saturday? I know a famous restaurant for us to try. My father knows a friend who owns one.", Hajoon said, spreading her arms.

"Oh really? Sure, I can't reject it Hajoon. ", Dahyun approved at it. That gave you an immense chest pain but you just endured it just to look fine in front of her because you don't want to take her attention away from Hajoon because you accepted your fate anyways.

"Great! Then i'll be just pick you up in your home then."

"Yup. See you.", Dahyun smiled.

"See you too and..." before he said the final words, he leaned closer to Dahyun's face and kissed her in the cheek. That gave Dahyun a hug blush while you? You feel like your tears are slowly going out.

"I love you Dahyun."

"AAAAAAAAARRRRGHHH HAH... HAH... HAAA...", you wake up from your dream quickly in panic. Sweat is all over your skin as you regain your senses to calm yourself first by breathing slowly.

Before you're doing that, there are words you once spoke to Dahyun that are flashing in your brain one by one as you recalled it while trying to make you understand or learn about those.

You were standing in front of a door that belongs to another house. After you knocked 3 time on it, it opened, revealing Dahyun who is wearing a white dress and her hair is tied neatly.

She looks so damn perfect.

You really can't believe after all this time you were being dumb, the one who is just right at your side every day is the one who makes you feel in love that you once never knew.

This is what you've been wanting. Her being on your hands and holding it as if you have an intention of not letting her go.

After minutes of riding in a bicycle, the two of you stopped as Dahyun parked her bicycle in front of somewhere that is not really familiar to you.

The two of you stopped when both of you approached a long path with trees lined up beside. Dahyun then thought of something which she thinks it would be fun to do.

"Hold the camera. Do what I tell you to do okay?", she gave you the camera that is hanging around her neck.

"Alright.", then she pointed a spot where you will standing in so you followed her. Then she walked far from you, not a bit much and she stood there straight with her head bent onto the side, staring directly at you.

"Oh.", you clicked the camera, capturing her in a photo. She then walked a few steps, still standing the same as what she just did.

"Uhh...", you clicked. She did the same again.

"Wait wait... I think I get what you're doing.", you laughed, shaking your head while stroking your hair. "Are you pretending as a ghost?"

"Yup.", she giggled. "Well I do look one right?", then she raised hee white dress as she turned around to make you judge her look in her outfit.

After you finally finished taking some shots of her, you looked at the last picture of her posing like a scary ghost but to you, all you can ever see in her is just pure cuteness.

You smiled then made a note to yourself that you will be moving this to your cellphone after so that you can have this in your gallery later.

"Hey Y/N, let's do something again."

"Oh... what is it this time?", you said, grasping the camera which is now at your possession.

"Let's do some romantic scene.", you widened your eyes. Did you heard it right? Now it made you confused what does she have in mind, but you know damn sure that you will go crazy after doing this. You two are now taking a rest on an open ground on top of a high ground where you and Dahyun can clearly be able to see the whole city of Seoul.

You noticed that Dahyun is panting hard from her breath and her sweat is dripping from the top of her head. You touched the fabric of her dress and oh boy it is soaked.

But she still smell damn great, the aroma of lavender and her Victoria Secret perfume.

Good thing you have some towel brought with you so you took it off from your sling bag and wiped the sweat off from her.

"You're sweating. Next time calm down your energy jeez.", you said while rubbing the towel on her arm.

"Atleast I had fun.", she smiled, not looking at you as her sight is still glued at the afternoon view of Seoul. You were mesmerized at her beauty when the moonlight strikes her dazzling face. "Did you too?"

"Ofcourse I do. There's never a time that I don't feel much alive being with you, Dahyun.", then you gave Dahyun the towel to place it inside the back of her dress so you were the one assisting to fix and make it properly placed, tugging it at the top.

" It's okay now Dahyun. I'm sorry too, also by making you wait for me to be well again.", you said, but still feeling bad at yourself for acting that way at her.

"Are you fine with your problem? Did you figured it out? Maybe you can share it to me?", she turned her body to face you, changing her seat into an indian style.

"Oh yeah I am. I've been thinking about it all night... and I waited for this day to come to tell you.", you glanced at her.

You breathe in and out heavily first before doing this. It's go time and you have to do this. "Dahyun. I was confused."

You hummed as an alternate answer to yes. "I don't know why I became like this. Ever since you introduced Hajoon to me, I felt something... unique. Never I have experienced before. That... what I call, is jealousy. Anger and sadness too.", Dahyun just became interested more, so she leaned her face closer to you a bit, placing her chin on top of her knuckles as it being supported by her elbow placed at her bended knee. "But it was not just a random reason behind it that occured to me. I know there's something more, but I can't figure it out. It affected me so much.

I started to act different. Always getting spaced out, mind full of thoughts, always happy whenever you're with me... and all I wish I could just keep you from me. Even I get mesmerized already at your beauty.

And when I finally had the time to think about all of these, I had a dream. I woke up sweating, because it was bad. I saw you finally be with the one you like, and I saw myself. Broken. Hurt. Despair. Then I recalled all of what I said to you and as I connected all the dots together... I realized that all I am doing, I'm crossing the line already.

You're only a friend in my eyes and mind... but now, I realized. That you, Dahyun...", Dahyun's eyes widened, she stared at you in disbelief and in shock. She didn't expected that it will all led to this... that one day some of you will look at each other even more than what you acknowledge as what role you had at each other's eyes.

She gasped, seeing the figure of her bestfriend right now confessing all his feelings to her and his struggles to search for the meaning why is he suffering from something he never had before as a result from... you being in love with her.

"It was always you. Right from the start. It was you all along that's why my heart ain't satisfied at anybody else, because after all this time I was interested only in you.", you laughed a little, still amazed and looking hilarious at yourself being dumb and stupid to figure this all out while your tears are slowly forming in your eyes. "Y-Y/N... I- I don't know what to say. I'm more than a friend to you since then...", Dahyun said as she looked away for a while to recall everything what happened between you two during those time where you and her are alone together, just doing things like how bestfriends should be.

"Sshhh don't cry, Y/N.", she shushed you, holding your hand and gently caressing the top of it. "Listen to me. Hey, you stop now alright? You don't have to, okay?", she stroked your hair as she looked at the tear-stained face of the best man she ever had in her entire life.

"You don't have to because you already did.", you raised your head to look at her who is smiling proudly at you.

"Don't you realize why I won't get excited these past few days whenever I see Hajoon at the school? Or even mention his name like i'm in Cloud 9.", you just stared at her while you go back to those times exactly what she's saying about.

"The reason for all that is because I
... I also started to like you, Y/N.", your reddish wet eyes widened in shock and at the same time... happiness. That's what you've been wanting to hear from her someday and now congrats to you, you're finally getting it.

" It started when you said that you acted different since you met him. You didn't look like a friend to me anymore whenever you do that. I was liking it... so much to the point that I can't erase you in my mind and heart."

"Then it finally made it confirm that I do in love with you Y/N, and why would I choose Hajoon instead over you when I know he can't even do what you are capable to do of to me.", then she cupped your cheeks and wiped the tears away with her thumb.

Both of you are just overwhelmed with joy and happiness knowing that both of you feel the same for each other. Thinking about the only thing to make this all worth it to happen, you pulled her head onto yours which she followed, resulting in a romantic slow kiss, lips slowly dancing from each other.

Both of you released each other, and the two of you locked each other again but to a tight, warm embrace.

"I love you, Dahyun. Thank you and sorry for everything."

"Everything's fine to me, Y/N. Don't overthink anymore okay? You have me now. I won't let myself be taken away fron yours. You have my word. I love you too.", then she buried her face at the crook of your neck, taking the peaceful time with each other.

The two of you faced each other again, blushing hard at how magical just happened today.

"Wow. Kiss really feels great when it's first time.", you said and you laughed. Dahyun hummed in agreement and she just giggled after with you.

"Do you feel cold?", you noticed that Dahyun is shaking a bit from how cool the breeze of the air here on the cliff.

"A bit yeah."

"Come here, I'll warm you up.", then Dahyun went near at you as she leaned her body sideward to yours, her head placed on the top of your shoulder while you gave her again a hug, trapping her around your arms.

You kissed the top of her head which she smiled in glee as both of you continued to take a break from the trip you two just had around here in Dahyun's aunt's private park by watching the whole view of city of Seoul below.
