My dearest good boys and girls, I hope y’all are doing well in the past two months that I was away. Yeah, the course ended but I always remembered every single one of you and how you made my career of teaching Pocanomics joyful and fun! And yeah, you’re seeing me today again as I’m going to yap a little bit. Despite it is now the summer break. I know, I know. I’m not going to assign any homework or something… I feel like today is a good day. Why? Because Fanprose had just released its Summer 2026 Update! (It was released 22:00 Pacific Time on June 21st, 2026) Link to the full update patch notes can be found here.
Professor An myself was at my place, enjoying my night with some friends of mine. We were discovering through the Backrooms the game and felt our pants got a bit, wet if you will. Yeah, horror games make people sweat, definitely.
But! It was amidst this adventure, Fanprose update was up, so I felt the need to show up again and briefly walk through my lovely students some highlights of this update as it introduces some astonishing updates to the whole Poca system and the Shrine.
To be brief: there’re mainly THREE big features in this update.
The Shrines reworked.
New Mechanics introduced to the Shrine system.
New ways for Authors/Readers to speedup their collection process.
Let’s break it down one by one.
The Reworked Shrines.
In this season, the following Shrines are receiving updates/reworks:
Health: Now you can Health Shrine a card up to Legendary (In contrast to the last season where it caps at Epic). And the rate of conversion is: FIVE (5) Q10 Epics for one Legendary. Right! Not only you need to have FIVE Epic cards, you need some ALL to be Q10! It sounds a bit expensive at first, but think about how you can have basically guaranteed success for a Legendary card! (85% Base + 10% Bonus = 95%, to be exact. As now the probability is clearly indicated to users for better transparency!)
Fame: Base success rate increased and you get bonus success rate IF you offer cards from the same group!
EXAMPLE: If one offers the following combination of cards, and wish for the IVE 2nd Collection:
Q1 An Yujin 001 will give you BETTER success rate compared to Q1 Karina 001, as Yujin is from IVE.
Love: Base success rate increase, and you also get bonus success rate IF you offer cards of the same group as the idols you’re wishing.
EXAMPLE: If one offers the following combination of cards, and wish for KARINA:
Then a Q1 Winter 001 will give you BETTER chance to succeed in comparison with a Q1 Anna 001, as Winter is from the same group as Karina.
Beauty: Now the Success Rate DECAYS based on Specific Tiers, and it has a LOWER chance as you wish for HIGHER tiered cards: (Picture from the official Updates page):

Fortune: The Old Shrine of Fortune had been REMOVED: You can no longer ask for ONE additional card with a high risk to fail. Instead, the OLD success Shrine is now the NEW Fortune and the mechanics remain the same. One update: BEFORE the global jackpot is usually one Celestial cards, but in this season, it can include up to THREE.
Success: The OLD success shrine is renamed into the Shrine of Fortune, and the NEW success shrine works as follows:
The users can sacrifice (meaning the card will simply go away) a card (or cards) to BOOST the Quality of another current card in the following rates:

Please note that normally it takes 3 Rares, or 6 Uncommons or 12 Commons for an Epic card, per se. Therefore it is highly recommended to use lower tier cards to boost the Quality of your current higher tiered ones.
EXAMPLE: One has a Q4 Sailor Wonyoung, and sacrifices the following combination of cards:
Q1 Sakura 001 (Common), Q2 Giselle 002 (Uncommon) and Q3 Gaeul 003 (Rare)
And the Sailor Wonyoung would become: Q4 + 1 (Common) + 2 (Uncommon) + 3 (Rare) = Q10.
Wisdom:
Just like when it first came out, we are now at the phase to figure out the new rule of the Shrine of Wisdom until the code is cracked. So further information can be found later!
Power:
Now that the Power Shrine will simultaneously demand THREE (3) cards at a time, for example:

The rule is as the following:

Example: If someone offers a Julie 002, Quality 6, then they’ll get the 60% boost.
If someone offers a Belle 001, Quality 6, they’ll get 50% boost (Same group + Same Quality)
And please note that the GUARANTEED Power buff is gone, and now the most you can get is 80% Boost.
In addition, each slot of the Power Shrine is demanded by a randomly selected card with certain numbers of blessings available. And in one of the following TWO situations, a slot will be refreshed:
The number of blessings of the slot is used up (please note that the offering will automatically pick and use the slot that gives you the HIGHEST buff)
A certain slot is NOT triggered for FOUR (4) Hours.
New Shrine Mechanics that is added to this Season
(And Readers/Authors exclusive Perks)
(Since this section is pretty much self-explanatory, you can find out more information in the Updates page, and I’ll only include the summaries here!)
Now that the Cooldown of Shrine is calculated BY CHARGE instead of a flat One Hour cooldown (Or 30 minutes for Premium Users), and you can store up to 4 charges and use it all at once! (Depends on your Premium Level). Yay! I can finally sleep in peace without needing to wake up every 30 minutes at night to finish my grinding for all Cosmic Pocas!)
You can now get a free Pray every day and you can potentially get a free photocard if you’re lucky!
Occasionally, the Shrine will be kind and RETURN a charge to you when you make an offering, meaning you would get your offering for free.
Readers can now leave comments while reading to get a chance (not guaranteed) to lower the charge timer! So leave kind comments to your authors in their work! This is also a way to encourage more engagement and interactions.
Authors can now get rewarded for a poca drop if their work gets interaction. So start writing! (And this counts towards the daily limit of Poca drops, but hey! This is a passive income, so if you write very engaging and interactive works, you’re rewarded with chances to get Pocas for free!)
You can now exclude certain collections from random Poca drops as a measure to slightly increase the chance for you to get certain groups you enjoy by limiting the dropping pool!
Please note that this is only a very brief and short summary of the Summer 2026 Update, please let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them when I see it. I could’ve make this guide more specific and include more examples/pictures, but I apologize that I couldn’t do it in time with my schedule. So I decided to at least have something here as soon as possible. And a huge thank you to the admin and developers of Fanprose, without them we won’t get a wonderful update and tons of new features this season! I’m just a messenger that I hope I can potentially help with some confusions and such.
Thank you everyone for reading, and see you all next time >3
