“Yo Carlos, wake up, dawg!”
“Mhmmm… 5 more min, Mom…”
“Modafucka, wake up, man! Time for breakfast!”
“What the heck … what time is it …?”
“It’s 7 AM, bro. Wake up; we have to prep up before the tour, dude!”
“Aighttt aighttt... I’m up, jeez Tony … your voice is annoying …”
“Yeh, yeh, yeh, it’s annoying enough to wake you up from your wet dream. Now hurry, dawg; it’s time to hit your darn shower and go. I’m damn hungry now!”
A few moments later
“Alright, what do we have for breakfast then?”
“The usual, all those bacons, eggs, sandwiches—oh, there’s some local food, yo.”
“Ok, I’ll get that one.”
“So, uh, where will we go today first? Gonna spend the night at the new place after today, right? I heard the tour will get us somewhere near a waterfall village.”
“Yep, that’s what I remember. Let me see. Yeppp, it is. So yeah, you got all your stuff packed?”
“Already here; nothing left in the room before checkout.”
“Good, because if you forget something, I’ll twitch your ass, Carlos.”
“Yeh, yeh, dream on, smart-ass.”
The two tourists then find the table and take their breakfast, while chatting with each other
“Yo, this tour has this many people; only us two are backpackers, and the others are just families.”
“Yeh, now I notice, man, that place must’ve been quite touristy, was it?”
“Not sure, but it looks like it. Hey look, I think that’s our tour guide, that chick over there.”
The two then see an Asian woman walk in with her backpack as she goes around to check on the tourists. She passes by different tables and then ends up with these two
“Hello! I want to check the list of tourists today before we go! Your names are …”
“Carlos and Tony!”
“Right on! Please wear this tag on your wrist so I will know you’re on my crew! The bus will start in an hour, so please be ready! See you there!”
The tour guide then walks away quickly before the two could say anything
“Huh, quite an energetic chick, yo.”
“Yeh, looks quite friendly.”
AN hour later, on the bus…
“Welcome, everyone! This is Dyna Local Tour, and my name is Natty, your friendly tour guide! Accompanying us will be our bus driver, Logan! Please give him an applause!”
Everyone then claps
“So, how are we doing today, folks? We’re all good? Are you excited to see the waterfall and the local village?”
“YES!”
“Awesome!! I love our morning energy!! So, I will tell you some backstory about the place we’re going to visit, but first, please look to your right; you will see the beautiful mountain scenery running across the road! The locals are very proud that they have one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, and if you look to your left once we pass this road right here, you will see the biggest farm ever for this country! They love to produce eco-friendly products; therefore, farms like this are quite common, but this one houses the largest and most efficient productivity rate!” Natty introduces the tourists.
“Huh, I like her already.”
“Yeh, yeh, you like all the women you set sight on, Tony.”
“So do you, jerk.”
“About the local village we will visit, I will give you some backstory! Long ago, this village used to be conquered by warlords because of its landscape and its importance in trades, especially from traders around the world for different sorts of goods, such as food, jewelry, and all sorts of things. But then one day, a local hero rose up and caused a resurgence; he gathered all the heroes across the lands to usurp the warlords. One by one the warlords fell, but victories also came with the cost of the hero’s life. He ultimately sacrificed his life to save his land, and his bravery was being honored by the villagers, hence the village with his name, Tronian! And today, the village is being run by his descendants, and their families are keeping up the tradition of art and crafts, like how the hero used to be before his wartime! This village is also famous for a large fountain next to it, which they also named Tronian’s waterfall, to honor the days when the hero used to be there for his artistic practices and training his soldiers! I promise you, the sight will be a feast for your eyes!” Natty keeps on telling the story.
“Huh, that sounds cool. that guy sounds amazing, like those folklore video game heroes.“
“Yeah, maybe he has a magic sword somewhere, dude.”
“I’ll be glad to see those things.”
Natty keeps on introducing the place along the road with her mic while interacting with the tourists along the way. The ride is long, so after a while, people start to fall asleep.
A few hours later
“Hey Tony, wake up, dawg.”
