“(YN)! Come on! Move that cute butt and hurry up!” Your wife called out as you rolled your eyes.

“I’m coming. Calm down Sana. I promise there will still be pumpkins left when we get there. Heck we’re probably going to be the first ones there.” You stepped down the last step of the stairs as your wife, Minatozaki Sana was at the door jumping up and down.

“(YN)~ I want this party to be perfect. You know that. Now, cooperate please!” Sana begged as you chuckled.

Sana was a little stressed.

Halloween was only a few days away, and so was your party.

Each year you both hosted a huge bonfire at your large backyard for nearly a decade now.

Friends, family, and acquaintances all would attend this annual spooky night party as you both have received major compliments of how well it went.

Every year, Sana tires to make the current year better than last year…and the year before that…and the year before that…and you get the idea.

So Sana can be a bit stressful at this time.

However she wanted wasn’t sure she could handle the responsibility of being better than last year so she was a bit stressing even more this year.

“Don’t you worry Sana. I’m always going to help you you know.” You said as Sana nodded.

“And don’t you forget it.” Sana adopted a smirk on her face as you chuckled.

“Come here Sana.” You opened your arms at the same time Sana stepped into your embrace.

You were her husband of five years, and you knew how big of a deal this was for her, even before marrying her, but you enjoyed spending time with her and for her to be this excited caused you to be happy…not that you’re always happy with her already, but seeing her all giddy-up and acting like a kid was heartwarming.

You and Sana met at each of their second year of college and since then it’s been nothing but joy for you and her.

That was eight years ago and at the third anniversary and a year out of college, you proposed and she said yes.’

“I just don’t want this party to be a flop.” She nuzzled your neck and buried her arms beneath your jacket.

“It won’t be Sana. You’re a smart and creative girl and you’ll nail this year like all the other years. You just need to relax. It’ll all work out like always.” You said to soothe her as she nodded and pulled back.

She gave you a soft smile, “how about a kiss~ just for a boost.” Sana asked a she pursed her lips as you smiled.

“Anytime you want.” You tipped your head down and gave her a gentle kiss.

“Hmm~ You’re the best (YN).”

“Glad you think so too.” You step back as Sana tried to punch you.

You laughed at her failed attempt as she pouted, but then charged at you trying to catch you off guard, but you sidestepped and caught her in your arms.

Sana laughed as you picked her up as she kicked her legs, trying to escape.

“Okay okay I give up I give up.” Sana surrendered as you let her go as she turned to see you. “I’ll get you back later.” She went on the balls on her feet to give you a peck on the lips.

“So where to first, my love?” You asked as Sana raised her hand.

“The pumpkin patch, then to the store. I’ll need props, decorations, and we’re going to try our costumes.” Sana listed off with each finger as you nodded.

“Can’t wait to see the ones you picked out this time.” You asked as Sana waved a finger.

“You’ll see soon enough~ I think you’re really going to enjoy this year.” You grinned.

“Alright let’s go then.” You unlocked the door and let Sana out first as you both went towards the car after you locked the door.

“THAT ONE! I need that one!” Sana jumped up and down as she pointed at a huge pumpkin.

“What? You want me to break my back Sana.” You held your hands on your hips as you looked to Sana as she frowned at you.

“Oh don’t act old (YN). I need it. Please~” She gave you puppy dog eyes as you sighed.

“The things I do for you Sana.”

You huffed in frustration, then obediently bent to hoist the pumpkin. You swore it weighed in the hundred of pounds as you loaded it into the back of your and Sana’s pick up truck.

You stretched your body as Sana came closer to you and clapped.

“Woo! That’s my (YN)~” Sana cheered as you chuckled.

“I’m getting a back rub when we get home.” You stated as Sana came closer to you.

Her eyes lessened as she grabbed onto your cheek and stroked it with her thumb.

“When we get home, I promise you’ll get more than a rub (YN)~”

You were a bit stunned as Sana leaned closer…then she stopped and smiled.

“If you get those too!” Sana said fast and giggled and clapped in excitement at the huge pumpkins she was pointing at. It was so early in the day that there weren’t many people there, and you both had the entire crop to choose from.
