"How do you guys feel about seafood?" Karina asked while she wiped down the countertop. I shrugged my shoulders while I restocked straws and napkin dispensers. "I don't really have a preference, it's all good to me,"
"Steak, steak sounds really good," Ningning swooned from her spot at the sink. Karina and I laughed at the younger girl. "Yeah, steak's good," Karina replied, amused.
"It's up to Chungha anyways, since it's her celebration dinner," I mentioned. Ningning and Karina nodded in agreement. Earlier today, Chungha came to us about some good news. Her lease on her old apartment expired and she'll be moving out soon. Now, she's officially moving into a new apartment complex that she says is 'a gazillion times' better than the old one.
Speaking of the devil, Chungha came out back from the kitchen and walked over to the counter, stopping by us. "Did you guys decide on what we should eat for tonight?" She asked. We looked towards Karina, since the idea was hers.
"I suggested seafood, maybe sushi? But Ningning said she was in the mood for steak," She answered. Chungha hummed, looking like she was thinking hard. "Hm, well what did Minjae say?"
"He didn't give a definite answer, just said whatever is fine," Karina answered. "Well," Chungha began. "Sushi sounds good, and I can go for some sashimi right now." She finished, her eyes looking over at the two of us.
"Steak," Ningning muttered quietly, almost a whisper. I chuckled and shook my head. "I'm down." I told them. Chungha nodded and looked over at Karina, who gave her a thumbs up.
"Great, it's settled. We'll go out to the sushi place across the street," Chungha declared and turned to the register, punching a few keys. "Alright, I'm gonna clock out and see if they have tables open over there. You guys can, you know, clean the place." She said that with a stupid cunning smile on her face.
Karina and I glared at her and she snickered as she circled around the counter and started walking to the front door. Karina and I got back to cleaning the front of the cafe, while Ningning moved over her mop and bucket and started getting to work on the dining area.
"You think if we beg her, Chungha would let us come over?" Karina whispered to me. I smirked and shook my head. "Tonight? What for, just to lounge around an empty place and watch her unpack boxes?"
"Why not?" She asked with a cheeky smile. "Maybe we'll get to see that complex pool and dip our toes in it." She pointed out. I scoffed and smiled, rolling my eyes.
"I hope Chungha throws a housewarming pool party, I've been wanting to take a swim," Ningning mentioned as she started mopping the floor. Karina and I shared a look and grinned, laughing at the youngest's comment.
"In the middle of January," I questioned. "Yeah," Ningning shrugged.
"What are you trying to say, Jae?" Karina nudged me. "Are you afraid of the cold?"
"What? Of course not," I replied, turning to her. "It sounds dumb and stupid to go swimming in the cold."
"Ah, don't be such a wimp about it. Obviously, her complex has those fancy heating systems for their pools. They probably have one of those heated outdoor jacuzzis, too." Karina mentioned.
"Are you sure about that?" I asked. She shrugged, "Doesn't hurt to ask over dinner."
"Well, whatever. If it happens, I'll gladly jump in the water then," I relented. Karina's lips quirked up.
"Yeah, that's the spirit," Ningning giggled from the side. The three of us continued our cleaning, making idle chatter while we worked. We finished within 20 minutes, and then took off our aprons. Karina undid her hair from the ponytail she had and shook it loose.
"Are we ready?" She asked, looking between me and Ningning. We nodded, and we started to clock out for the night. Together, we closed up the cafe and stepped into the parking lot, the cold winter air greeting us. As we passed up my car, Karina tapped my shoulder from behind.
"Hey, I forgot to ask you during work but do you think you can give me a ride home later? My boyfriend's borrowing my car for the week and he had to drop me off today." She explained. Her pale cheeks flushed a pretty pinkish red from the cold. Her teeth were slightly chattering and her body shivered as the breeze blew past.
"Sure, no problem, I'll drive you back home later," I told her. She smiled and thanked me. Then, we crossed the street and walked over to the restaurant. When we stepped inside, the three of us were met with a warm, calming ambiance. At the front, Chungha was talking with the hostess. She looked over at us and smiled, waving us over.
"They're here now, thanks again." She thanked the woman. Then, the hostess grabbed a stack of menus and walked us through the restaurant, taking us to a booth.
We followed behind her until we reached our booth. She sat the menus down and handed one to each of us. "Enjoy your meal," The woman smiled at us.
"Thanks, have a good night," I smiled back and took a seat next to Chungha. Karina and Ningning sat in front of us. After the hostess walked away, we grabbed our menus and started skimming through.
"Ooh, they have spicy tuna rolls. Let's get some of that." Ningning suggested. We all hummed in agreement. "Salmon belly sounds good too." Chungha added.
"What about scallops?" Karina asked, and Chungha agreed. "We can split an order,"
"Alright," I murmured. After a bit of browsing, we eventually got a complete order together. We set down our menus and sat, waiting for a server to come by.
"So, have you started packing?" Ningning asked Chungha. She groaned. "Ugh, no. Not yet, at least."
"When do you have to move out?" Karina asked. "Kind of soon, it won't be too bad though." Chungha responded.
"You sure? It seems like a lot, you've got a whole apartment to move into," Karina replied.
"Not really, I'm planning on moving the bigger stuff soon. I have enough time to move my belongings in a couple of days." Chungha explained. "I don't think I have that much stuff either. It shouldn't be that hard."
"That's good," Karina commented. Our waitress arrived and asked us what drinks we'd like. After placing our drink orders, the woman nodded and excused herself.
"And you're definitely inviting us over to swim in that fancy ass pool, right?" Ningning asked hopefully, leaning forward with her elbows resting on the table.
"Swimming in the middle of January?" Chungha raised an eyebrow, a small smile peeking from her lips.
"That's what I said!" I exclaimed, turning to Karina, who just giggled and waved me off.
"Sure, why not. Last I checked, their pool and jacuzzi has a heating system, so the water's going to be warm," Chungha informed. Karina and I made eye contact again before we both started to laugh. "That's great, good to know, yeah." I snickered, rubbing the back of my neck.
"I did say I would throw a housewarming party. It'll happen once I completely move in, which will be soon, I swear," Chungha noted.
"I'm going to hold you to that," Karina stated with a wide grin.
"Please do, and remind me too," Ningning requested, nodding her head.
"Will do," Chungha promised. Eventually, the waitress came by again, carrying a tray full of our drinks. She distributed the drinks to each of us, setting a cup of tea down in front of Chungha, water in front of me, a soda for Ningning, and a lemonade for Karina.
"Alright, here's your drinks, now, what can I get for you to eat tonight?" The woman asked as she took out her notepad. We went through our orders, repeating what we wanted and the waitress jotted it down.
After a moment, she smiled and bowed her head. "Okay, great. Thank you, enjoy the rest of your night," She turned and walked away.
"So, Ning, when are you going to tell your auntie to give us a raise," Karina joked as she sipped her lemonade.
"I'll get her to do it, one way or another," Ningning said confidently, giving Karina a smirk. The pretty girl snorted and leaned against her hand, shaking her head.
"She'll never go for it," Karina moved her eyes towards me, "What about you, Minjae? What have you been up to?"
"Hm, not much," I shrugged.
"Oh come on, that's all you have to say? What about your life outside of the cafe?" Chungha asked, nudging me with her elbow. I looked between the three girls, all looking at me expectantly. "I think you know what we're talking about."
"For real, your love life is just too entertaining," Ningning added, a teasing smile on her lips.
"It's like a Kdrama, I swear," Karina added.
"Or a soap opera, the drama is always high," Ningning pointed out.
"I agree," Karina nodded. "Now spill, what's going on?"
I chuckled, feeling my cheeks warm. "Okay, well, uh..." I'm not obliged to spill about my love life, but hey, they're my work friends. Might as well. "Uh, yeah. Things have been good,"
"Yeah?" Ningning leaned forward.
"Tell Chaewon to come by more, it'd be nice to get to talk to her more," Karina commented, sipping her drink.
"It would, huh?" I smirked. "But you know, she doesn't get that much free time often to come down here."
"But you have time to go up there and spend time with her?" Chungha raised her eyebrow, giving me a teasing grin.
"Oh, that's a good point," Ningning chimed in, her grin wide.
"Well, yeah. I'm the boyfriend, I have to make that trip for her. I wouldn't want her to be driving like 2 hours just to come down here," I argued, my lips turning upwards.
"So chivalrous," Karina giggled, holding her fist to her chest.
"Oh please, shut up." I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "But, I guess things are going really well. It's nice, things feel the same as when we used to date, but better."
"That's a good thing, isn't it?" Ningning asked. I nodded, smiling.
Karina gushed, "My boyfriend could learn a thing or two from you, you're just such a gentleman," I leaned over and playfully slapped her shoulder, "Oh c'mon, it's not that serious."
"But besides that," Chungha interrupted. "Are you still friends with that Haerin girl?"
My body stiffened, my jaw tensing at the mention of her name, "Ah, yeah. I am." The memory of the crying girl popped into my mind, her teary face and her pained expression. I wanted to say something about it the next time I saw her, but when I went into the class later that week, she seemed perfectly normal.
Her calm yet polite demeanor, the small smile on her lips, the lightheartedness in her words, all of that was a far cry from the image I remembered. It didn't even seem real, maybe I was hallucinating or something. And after some deliberation, I decided to keep quiet about it.
If she was back to her usual self, then there's no use bringing it up and potentially making things awkward. So, I've kept it a secret ever since.
"Why?" I questioned, my curiosity piqued.
"Well, I was wondering if you ever made it clear to her that you were off the market, now," She said, giving me a knowing look, referencing the last time they mentioned Haerin around me.
I gulped and nodded, "Yeah, uh, yeah. She knows I'm in a relationship."
"Ah, that's good," Karina hummed. "You're saying that, but you look kind of uncomfortable."
"Was something wrong when you told her," Ningning asked. I don't think I explicitly told her, more like, she found out when I mentioned I was hanging out with my girlfriend out of the blue. She took it well, I think, it was over text so I couldn't see her reaction but to be fair, I don't think she would've reacted in front of me either.
"Not really," I muttered, "When she first found out, it was over text because she happened to text me while I was hanging out with Chaewon."
"Awkward," Chungha snickered.
"Not really," I argued. "It wasn't weird at all. After that, we've been hanging out normally. We even had a nice Christmas get together with her and her friends."
"Well, that's not bad," Karina commented, tilting her head.
"It's not. It was all fun, nothing to complain about."
"Hm, then why do you seem so uncomfortable right now?" Ningning asked, her head tilted, a suspicious glint in her eyes.
I shrugged, trying to come up with a reasonable excuse, "Nothing really, it's just... a bit complicated."
"Ugh, quit jumping around it and just tell us," Chungha groaned, exasperated.
"Alright, alright, chill," I held my hands up.
"There's something more, isn't there?" Karina asked, her brows furrowed.
I sighed and lowered my head. "It's just, it was last week. When we were in class, I was telling the story about how me and Chaewon got back together to her friends and she was there too. After that, she felt a little off to me but it really took a hit when she asked me about something specific."
"Specific?" Chungha raised an eyebrow.
"She wanted to know if the day I met Chaewon happened to coincide with the day we had our little drunk texting incident," I explained.
"And?" Ningning questioned.
"Well, it did happen to be the same. And she just accepted it and disappeared."
"I mean, what do you mean she disappeared? She didn't just run off did she?"
"No, no. Not like that. I had class and she went to the library to study or do homework. It just so happened that after my last class of the day, I ran into her. Well, no, I didn't run into her, I happened to spot her leaving the library," I paused, recalling the events. "For some reason, she was completely out of it. I can't explain it, you'd have to be around her but she was just different. And not in a good way,"
The three of them nodded, taking in the information. I sat up straight and sighed, "And she looked upset too. Like, super sad, like someone had died. It was so off-putting. So I sort of followed her back to her car in case something was actually wrong, but she just started sobbing in her car. It was really shocking,"
"Wait, so you saw her cry? In person?" Ningning clarified, her eyebrows raised.
"Yeah," I replied. "I was going to try and console her, but she drove off before I could do something. I've been trying to figure out what happened but there's just not a lot I can do.
"Huh," Chungha huffed. "Weird, really weird."
"That is weird," Ningning agreed.
"Yup," Karina murmured. It was like the three of them had their own little conversation without me. They all had the same look on their faces, the same contemplative gaze.
"Did you ask her about it? Did she say anything when you brought it up?" Chungha asked, turning back to me.
"Nope, and I haven't brought it up either," I shrugged.
"You haven't?" Ningning exclaimed, shocked.
"No, I didn't think it was a good idea to bring up. Plus, she’s been perfectly fine. It was like it never happened. There's no use in making a big deal out of it if it's not that serious," The three of them stared at me, dumbfounded, their jaws slightly agape.
"Are you an idiot," Chungha deadpanned, her eyebrows creased, her mouth drawn into a frown.
"What," I scoffed, taken aback.
"You probably should've said something, Minjae," Karina commented, leaning her cheek against her fist.
"Well, yes, but..." I trailed off.
"He's probably afraid to assume something or get into her business," Ningning pointed out.
"But, yeah, okay, whatever," I waved my hands dismissively.
"Hmm, if I was Haerin, what would be the reason I'm crying?" Chungha began to wonder out loud.
"Hmm, it's definitely about Minjae," Karina joined in. I scoffed, rolling my eyes.
"Well guys, I really don't think-"
"So she was the one who asked about that day, right," Ningning interrupted me, a curious look in her eye. With the three of them like this, there's no getting out. I sighed, resigned.
"Yeah."
"And was there any particular reason she asked that? Did anything stand out to you that made her ask about it?"
I tried to recall the events, trying to remember the specifics of her question. I can't forget the way she sounded, her voice was small and frail. Nothing like the bubbly girl I know. "I assume it was about Chaewon, mostly because I had felt a little bit uncomfortable bringing her up around Haerin."
"Hm, that is interesting," Karina hummed. "Do you think you feel uncomfortable because you liked Haerin at some point?"
"Oh no, I'm just trying not to hurt her feelings,"
"Be honest, Minjae. Why would you need to worry about hurting her feelings?" Chungha countered. I felt a knot tighten in my stomach, my chest suddenly feeling a bit heavy. Damn, she had a point.
"I guess, yeah, you're right," I admitted.
"See?" Ningning chimed in, pointing her index finger at me.
"So imagine, if you're feeling uncomfortable, for what reason does Haerin have to feel uncomfortable as well?" Karina suggested, leaning forward. "It must be because Haerin had feelings for you at some point as well!"
All of us sat there, in the revelation. "You might be right," I finally muttered. It had been a lingering thought for a while, one that I tried not to entertain because it never seemed plausible. At this point, it was hard to ignore it. Haerin liked me back at some point.
I groaned and leaned back in my chair, looking up at the ceiling. "Well, shoot."
"Wow, I can't believe it took that long for you to realize, dumbass," Ningning scoffed.
"Well, you can't blame him. He is an idiot," Chungha laughed.
"That he is," Karina chuckled, nodding.
I huffed, my eyes still focused on the ceiling.
"Okay, so if Haerin likes you, then that would explain why she was upset when you told her about the connection between your little drunk texting incident and meeting Chaewon again," Ningning explained, her hand rubbing her chin.
"Right," Chungha hummed, her face scrunched up in concentration.
"The poor girl probably feels like she lost you. If the conversation between the two of you that night didn't stop, maybe you wouldn't have noticed Chaewon and gotten back together," Karina pointed out, giving me a sympathetic look. I thought back to that night, when Haerin caught wind of my drunk texts.
She did later admit she freaked out due to personal reasons. What personal reasons, I have no clue, all I know is that it involved some shithead in her past. Besides that, I can only imagine what she must've been thinking when she found out I met Chaewon that night. Maybe if she powered through her personal feelings, she would've kept me away from the possibility of reconnecting with Chaewon.
Or if things didn't become so shaky between us as a result, falling back in love with Chaewon would've been just a bit harder. Regardless, I think Haerin realized what could've happened, and it's probably weighing down on her.
"You might be right," I mumbled. "But, there's nothing I can do now,"
"Maybe, or you could say something to her," Karina suggested.
"But what can he say?" Ningning pointed out, shrugging. "What could he do?"
"I can't think of anything either," Chungha admitted, sighing.
"Yeah, maybe nothing is better," Karina muttered, a frown forming on her lips.
"Well, the most I can do is make sure things aren't awkward between us," I noted.
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Chungha inquired.
"Well, I just have to act normal, just like before. Nothing should change," I explained, feeling confident.
"I mean, yeah, that's an option," Ningning sighed, crossing her arms over her chest. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed our waitress heading over, carrying our food on a large tray. The conversation died out as she arrived and set the dishes down. Even if I felt like the conversation was unneeded, it still left me thinking.
Sure, I felt like there was a small chance that Haerin liked me back at some point, but the thought never fully developed until tonight. That's crazy to think, and honestly, kind of a lot to process. To think, if Haerin and I didn't have our little falling out, would things have played out differently.
It felt toxic to think like that, especially since I have a wonderful girlfriend who's done nothing but show me unconditional love. So, I just decided not to entertain the idea, at least, not now. Dinner flew by without much fanfare, we ate and talked about random shit, laughing and joking along the way.
But still, just a little something was pulling at my brain, begging me to think deeper about the situation. It's going to be hard to ignore. I persevered though, and kept the topic away from Haerin. I got to learn more about each of the girls. Ningning is currently working on a portfolio to apply to some dance schools, hoping to find a school that will take her.
Apparently, Ningning is really talented. Her dancing skills are impeccable, her movements fluid and natural. She showed us clips of her home practices and she was good. I could see why she wanted to pursue a career in dance, the passion and enthusiasm just shined through every time she moved.
Karina was applying to various internships right now, her goal is to get a small internship, something that'll get her foot in the door for bigger things. That's nice, I wasn't on track with that sort of stuff yet but I should be getting started soon.
Chungha's life is just pretty simple. She's working, trying to save up as much money as possible until she somehow finds an opportunity that will set her for life. But she doesn't stress about it, instead, she enjoys life. A small part of me was a little jealous of her. She wasn't worried about the future, instead, living in the moment.
But eventually, dinner came to an end, we finished our food and drinks, and left the restaurant. Outside, the girls were huddled close, trying their best to protect themselves from the harsh, chilling winds. "Shit, it's so cold!" Karina groaned, her body shivering.
"Fuck, let's go home," Chungha whined.
"Yeah, let's go," I turned towards Ningning, spotting the young girl holding onto Karina for warmth. The four of us crossed back over the street back to the cafe's parking lot. We walked towards our cars, stopping to say our goodbyes.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow," Ningning waved goodbye, opening the door to hers and ducking inside.
"Get home safe!" Chungha yelled, waving back.
"Bye!" Karina and I yelled as well. Once goodbyes were given, Karina followed behind me to my car, quickly getting in and shutting the door.
"Hurry and start the car," Karina shivered, her arms wrapped around her chest. I couldn't help but peek at the way her arms held up her heavy breasts, but quickly refocused and started up the car. I quickly put the heat on high, hoping to get warm air as soon as possible.
"Ah, finally," Karina groaned, a smile growing on her lips. I laughed, "It’s cold, isn't it?"
"Really fucking cold," Karina sighed, relaxing back into her seat. "Let me put my address into your phone," Karina leaned forward, reaching towards the dashboard, her arm stretching to reach my phone.
"Here," I pulled the phone out and handed it over.
"Thanks," Karina nodded, her fingers typing rapidly. In less than a few seconds, she handed it back.
"Done," Karina announced, turning towards me. "We ready to go?"
"Sure," I said, putting the car in drive and slowly backing out of the parking spot. "Alright, let's get going," The trip was rather quiet, but not uncomfortable. I couldn't help but keep glancing over, looking at Karina's face, watching the light of the streetlamps pass by her beautiful face. It was a pretty sight.
"Hm," I heard Karina hum, snapping me out of my daze. I turned and faced the road, focusing on the empty streets before I was caught staring. "Is something wrong," I questioned.
"No, not really. But I've been meaning to ask you something," Karina began, her hands clasped together.
"Yeah?"
"So, about earlier. Did you really not know about Haerin's feelings for you," She was taken back by my sudden gasp followed by the coughing fit that took over my body. "Sorry, I know you don't really want to talk about it, but," She trailed off, patting my back as I cleared my throat.
"No, it's okay," I reassured her, taking a deep breath. "But, uh, yeah. I thought about it sometimes. You know, it's natural. I wanted to know whether or not she was into me whenever I was pining over her."
"And did you ever come to a conclusion?"
"Sometimes," I admitted, keeping my gaze focused on the road ahead. "But, ultimately, I just assumed it was in my head. Most of the time I just figured I was misinterpreting her friendliness,"
"Strange, wouldn't most people want to interpret it as flirting, especially if they're pining," Karina noted, "I know I did."
"Well, yes. But I also didn't want to get my hopes up and read into things that weren't true," I sighed, "If that makes sense."
"I think it does. You were too afraid to risk it. Is that right?"
"Yup."
"That's understandable. You don't want to ruin the relationship the two of you had."
"Mhm."
"Hm," Glancing over, Karina had a contemplative look on her face. Her mouth was drawn into a straight line, her gaze distant.
"Sorry, I just have to ask, why are you so invested in this?" I asked.
"Just curious," Karina answered, her face breaking out into a small smile. "It's fun."
"Uh-huh, sure."
"What, don't believe me?" Karina giggled, her shoulders bouncing. "We never talk outside of work, and I don't know, I think you're kind of cool. Maybe I just want to get just a little bit closer to you. We could be more than workplace friends and be actual friends, is that a crime?"
"No," I scoffed.
"See? It's a bit weird, yes, but, what can we do," Karina shrugged, the corners of her lips pulled upwards. "So, is it really alright to talk about this? It seems like a sore subject for you, so I'm wondering."
"It's fine. I need a second opinion. Right?" I briefly looked at Karina before looking back at the road.
"Right," Karina murmured, her eyes focused on her hands, her thumbs twirling around one another. "Okay, well, do you like her?"
"I'm dating Chaewon, and Haerin knows that. So, no, I don't like her." I said, even if there was just a bit of hesitation looming in my head, which there shouldn't be.
"Hm, I was expecting a stronger reaction," Karina noted, leaning her cheek against her fist, her elbow resting on the door.
"A stronger reaction," I echoed, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah. I thought you would immediately shoot the question down. Instead, you seemed a little unsure," Karina called out, rightfully so, might I add. There's a whole bunch of confusion floating around in my head, not just about Haerin and Chaewon, other concerning things were making their presence known, trying to pull at my thoughts.
It felt like walking through mud, the thoughts weighed down my mind and it was hard to think. But still, I had an answer for her, "Well, no, that's because it's complicated. My feelings for Haerin were long gone. It's just...now, after finding out how she felt, I feel a little weird. I can't tell if I'm feeling guilty or remorse or..."
"Or you're regretting reconnecting with Chaewon?" Karina suggested, her voice was quiet and hesitant.
"No, that's not it," I let out.
"Wait, hear me out, I don't mean that in a bad way," Karina began, sitting upright. "It's just, imagine, if the circumstances were different, would you have pursued a relationship with Haerin instead of getting back together with Chaewon?"
"That's..." I trailed off, trying to think of an answer, but all I could hear were the echoes of her question, bouncing around my head. That's the golden question to be answered, huh. I didn't realize it, but we were soon approaching Karina's place. It was a decent sized complex, with multiple buildings and apartments.
I parked my car in a spot near the apartment address she gave me and turned to her, "This is it, right?"
"Yup," Karina confirmed, but she didn't move from her spot, "But hold on, we aren't done yet."
She probably wants to talk some more about this whole situation and honestly I could use some help sorting things out in my head. She turned her body in the seat towards me, her hands folded over her lap.
"Honestly, Minjae. In the time that I've known you since we started working together, I can tell you're a decent and good person. You're sweet and genuine. So I know that when it comes to Chaewon, you're serious," She stated, a sincere smile gracing her lips.
"Thanks," I mumbled, smiling a little.
"I can tell that thinking about this stuff is hurting you," Karina added, her eyes focused on her fingers, her hands playing with one another. "I get it, I've been there."
"You have?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Not in your specific situation, no," Karina clarified. "But, yeah, I know the pain of having conflicting feelings and trying to sort through them."
I chuckled, "No way, spill." Karina gave me a small smile, her cheeks were dusted a slight red. "This conversation was supposed to be about you."
"I thought we were getting to know each other better," I argued, a small smirk tugging at my lips. Karina nodded, as if she was considering something. "Yeah, yeah, that's fair."
She sat there, gathering her thoughts. I noticed under the parking lot light we were parked under, her skin was a pale white. It was almost as if the lights were illuminating her. Forgive me if I'm wrong, at this moment, she was probably the most beautiful girl I've ever seen and the world was trying to prove a point to me.
"Well, a little while back before I met my boyfriend, I liked a friend of mine. Not that much different from your situation. He was nice and kind, but he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. So he wasn't ever aware of my feelings," She explained, a hint of nostalgia and melancholy evident in her tone.
"I tried to ignore them and eventually, I was able to. Then, I finally started dating my boyfriend. Things were going pretty well, but there was a lingering thought. A 'what if', you know?" Karina fixed her hair, her hands combing through her soft black hair. "My boyfriend's super sweet and a real gentleman, but what got me was his persistence. He had to ask me out twice before I finally became his girlfriend. I just always thought, if I had his persistence or his confidence before I met him, maybe I'd be in a different place now."
Karina paused, her eyes cast out the windshield of my car towards her apartment, a forlorn look in her eye. "But, what could I do? Things happen for a reason, and he's not mine. That's how life goes, sometimes." She finished, turning back to face me, a wide grin on her lips.
"Don't misinterpret my story," She clarified, raising her hand. "It's the past now. I'm happy with where I'm at, really happy actually. My boyfriend is sweet and caring, and he's always making me smile. I just, well, that's why I can understand how you feel. The confusion, the regret, and the guilt, I get it. It comes up once in a while but at the end of the day, we're in love with our significant others, right?"
"Of course,"
"Then that's all that matters, isn't it," Karina concluded, leaning back in the seat, relaxing. "Don't let it stress you out, the what-ifs and what could've beens. Just be happy and focus on the present. You can't control the past, no matter how much we may wish for it."
"Yeah, that's true," I nodded, mulling her words over. "It's easier said than done, though."
"It is," Karina admitted, looking a bit sheepish. "But, you can do it. If I could, you definitely could."
"Maybe."
"I'm sure," Karina leaned forward, reaching out and placing her hand over mine, giving it a reassuring squeeze. I almost flinched at the touch, but managed to keep myself from acting weird. I glanced down at her hand, then back up at her face, and saw a genuine and sincere smile on her lips.
She turned her head and stared at her apartment, her expression was neutral, her eyes staring blankly. Her thumb lightly brushed the top of my hand, her touch soft and comforting. As she leaned towards me, I didn't know what to do with my eyes. I felt embarrassed looking at her face and the way her breasts were pressing together by her arm.
"Thanks, Karina. You helped me clear my head a little," I coughed, following her gaze out the windshield.
"Yeah, no problem. I'm happy to help," She smiled, squeezing my hand.
"Well, if that's everything, I should let you go, huh. Get inside safely."
"Yeah," Karina hummed, sitting up and removing her hand from mine. I felt disappointed when her hand was removed. She grabbed her bag and opened the door, stepping out. "I'll see you at work."
She gathered her things, and opened the car door, stepping out. "Get home safe, and have a good night," She told me, before shutting the door and quickly rushing to the entrance of her building. I watched her run towards her apartment, her hips swaying side to side, before she disappeared inside to avoid the cold.
I'm sort of new to this whole dating stuff, aren't I? Chaewon and I, sure, we had our thing back in high school but that was a high school type of love. We're older, with more mature minds and feelings, dealing with more complex situations. It was nice to have someone like Karina who probably had more experience in the dating world to help me out.
As for my own feelings, I was pretty sure of what they were, and even though the doubts and the thoughts of a 'what-if' were swirling around in my head, they were being squashed down and drowned out by the feelings I had for Chaewon. There was a part of me, a small voice, that wondered what could've happened if things played out differently. But it didn't matter, I'm happy where I am.
I groaned, tilting my head back, closing my eyes and letting out a heavy sigh. It wasn't much, but Karina's touch and body in general was giving me a growing hard-on right now. I could feel it. I should probably speed home and take care of this.

I was greeted with an unconventional surprise as I walked into my dorm. Nakyung was stepping on my roommate's back as she laid on the floor of our living room. The two of them lifted their heads to look at me as I entered.
"Welcome home," Nakyung greeted me, lifting her feet off of Seulgi, who groaned as she got up from the floor. She arched her back and hissed, probably feeling some relief in her spine.
"Hey," I said, kicking my shoes off. "What's up with this scene," I gestured to the two of them, a questioning look on my face.
"I was waiting for you to come home but you were taking too long, and Seulgi asked me if I could help with some back pain," Nakyung explained, standing upright.
"She stepped on my back until I was satisfied," Seulgi groaned, rubbing her back. "Thank you."
"Anytime," Nakyung winked at her, a smile forming on her lips. "Well, if you're not too busy, I was bored and you kept me waiting so now I'm keeping you up all night."
"Alright, I'll head to sleep now that Minjae's here, goodnight you two," Seulgi nodded her head and turned towards her bedroom.
"Night," Nakyung called after her, waving goodbye. Once the door was shut behind her, Nakyung turned towards me. "Alright, you know what, I'm in the mood for a movie tonight. Pick one, I'm feeling action or comedy."
I stood there, looking at her with a very raging erection in my pants. My hand came up and wrapped around the back of her neck, earning a surprised and confused gasp. With a strong grip, I pulled her and walked us towards my bedroom, my fingers wrapping themselves into her hair.
"Ow, ow, ow," She hissed, stumbling behind me. "What are you doing, hey," I pulled her into my bedroom and locked the door behind us. "Minjae, what are you- ah," I softly pushed her down towards the ground, her hands holding herself up, her knees pressing against the ground.
"Stay there," I demanded, taking a seat on the edge of the bed, my hands working to pull my pants and boxers down. My dick sprung up, a thin stream of precum already dribbling down the shaft. Her eyes were glued onto my cock, her gaping mouth closed into an annoyed pout.
"You could've just said please," She groaned, crawling forward on her hands and knees before sitting in front of me. I sighed, grabbing my shaft and starting to rub it.
"Sorry, I've been driving with a raging boner and had no chance to deal with it," I explained, my eyes focused on the sight in front of me. Nakyung sat cutely on her knees, looking up at me with her hands already stripping herself down.
"That's what you get for making me wait," She scoffed, tossing her shirt aside and shimming out of her shorts. Leaving herself in a matching set of black lace panties and bra. She had an amused look on her face, her gaze locked on my cock. "So, what got you so hot and bothered?"
"Karina," I replied, not needing to think about the answer.
"Oh, that coworker," Nakyung nodded her head. "She's fucking hot, I'll give you that."
"Yup."
"So that's why you were late to come home? Were you two doing some 'extra curricular' activities after work," She teased, crawling towards me and sitting between my legs.
"No, just dropping her home after a work dinner," I murmured.
"Bet you would've loved to titty fuck her in the backseat of your car, huh," She grinned, her hands sliding up my legs, her fingertips lightly tracing the outlines of my muscles. "Bet you would've loved that."
"Yup."
Nakyung rolled her eyes and shook her head. "What's the use in me getting naked if you're not gonna touch me, asshole."
"I just need to squeeze one out," I admitted, my hand picking up the pace. "I won't be long, and I'll return the favor, I promise."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Nakyung scoffed, watching me jerk off. "You're gonna have to make it up to me after this."
"I know, I'm sorry."
"Fine," She sighed, her eyes trailing down until they reached underneath my bed. She crawled forward and groped around under my bed before pulling out the orange shoebox. She opened up the box in her lap, rummaging through the colorful bundle of panties.
"You did a lot in five months," She noted, flipping through the pile. "You're going to have to start a new box at some point."
"Probably," I mumbled, watching as her fingers traced along the material. She sent the box aside and reached down for my discarded pants at my ankles, pulling them up and retrieving my phone out of my pockets. "Face, please," She asked, holding up my phone to unlock, which I did.
I watched as she browsed through my phone, her eyebrows scrunching together, her nose twitching. Her thumb scrolled and paused occasionally. Then her hand stopped, and her lips curved into a mischievous smile.
"Ah, the hit list." She giggled, her thumb brushing the screen. She flipped my phone to show me my hit list, the list of girls whose panties I either want or already have. It has always been lingering in the back of my head, but now with the new girl in my life, it's become less important.
She clicked her tongue and shook her head, "Hmm, let's review, shall we." I continued stroking my cock as she read through the list, her finger tracing each name.
"Bae Joohyun, your first ever score," Nakyung began. "She was your start, and probably the easiest to get. You were lucky."
"Yeah," I grunted.
"Next, your very sweet roommate, Kang Seulgi," Nakyung looked over her shoulder, presumingly at the direction of Seulgi's bedroom. "First time you got your hands actually dirty."
"Ah, then me and my disappearing roommate, Jang Yeeun, that was pretty easy too," She drawled. "Yup, then Park Sooyoung, or Joy, that was our first time together. I remember it like it was just five months ago."
Hearing Nakyung reminisce was making the build-up faster. Her teasing and sultry voice was a huge turn on, not helping my case. Plus, my head was reimaging all the scenarios of her and I fucking in these past few months, which didn't help.
"Ah, now this is where we hit unmarked territory. Thankfully, we stole Sana's fair and square. We have Tzuyu and Yeji next. After them, you have Professor Taeyeon. We had a nice time with her, didn't we?"
"Mhm," I hummed, gritting my teeth, my hand pumping my shaft faster.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Saerom, Jennie, oh, you did nab Xiaoting's. Then you have Kazuha Nakamura and Kim Minji," She continued, her eyes staring blankly at the names. "Oh, you hit Shin Ryujin, and her little sister if I'm not mistaken. Tsk, she's not here on the list. This shit's outdated as fuck."
"Oh, my lovely leader and her left-hand girl, Jihyo and Nayeon, that was a clean heist we pulled," Nakyung's fingers brushed over their names. "And that's where the list ends."
She looked at me as I was still jerking off. I was almost finished, and it didn't look like I was going to stop any time soon.
"Ah, what a shame, your list ends with Karina and Chungha," She sighed, turning her head away. "You definitely have more panties in here than your list says, c'mon let's run through memory lane."
I could only moan in response, the pleasure growing in my balls.
"If I remember correctly, there was Seulgi's boyfriend's hot sister, Seolhyun, was it?" Minhyuk's fine sister flashed inside of my head, her beautiful body on full display.
"Oh, and don't forget, Xiaoting's roommate, Yeseo. You were stupidly lucky but it paid off, didn't it," I thought back to that night when I was stuck inside their bathroom, watching the young girl undress herself in front of me without her knowing. I was getting there, building up with just the memories in my head and my hand moving as fast as it could.
"Then there was that heist with Ryujin and her little sister, Yuna. That same day, it was Nayeon and her roommate Sullyoon. You probably felt super drained busting four loads in a day, I'm impressed." Fuck, thinking back to the two sisters and the two roommates was pushing me towards the edge.
"That makes your total number of hits at 15 total girls, not too bad. Hwang Minjae, not bad at all," Nakyung chuckled, a wide grin on her face.
"Oh, fuck," I moaned, gritting my teeth and tensing up. My cock started to spurt, cum flying out of the tip, shocking the girl by hitting directly on her face. I kept cumming, and her face was covered with white lines and spots. I shot two last ropes of cum across her chest and bra, coating her black lace.
I breathed heavily, sighing as I relaxed, the intense and built-up pleasure slowly disappearing. Nakyung sat back, staring down at the mess on her chest and the rest that was still leaking down my shaft. She lifted her eyes and stared at me, a frown on her lips.
"Asshole, no fucking warning," She spat, wiping the cum that dripped onto her lip.
"Fuck, sorry," I apologized, looking at her. My cock slowly softened, the pleasure finally gone. She struggled to keep her eyes open as a glob of cum threatened to slide down her eyelid.
"You know what, whatever," Nakyung carefully got up from the ground, trying not to drop or get any cum on the floor. She sat down next to me and laid her back flat on the bed, her face and body still a mess.
"Just get the fuck on top of me and play with my pussy, okay. No fucking foreplay or nothing, just go," She grumbled, her eyes squeezed shut, waiting for me. I took a deep breath, and climbed on top of her, ready to do my duty.
It was the least I could do as I took a deep breath and began to slide a finger inside of her. She tensed up before she let herself relax, letting me get her ready for what was next.
"This is what I get, isn't it. For being friends with you, I just end up getting covered in cum every time. Fuck, man," She sighed, her fingers combing her hair back. "Whatever, let's talk about your outdated hit list while I get finger blasted."
I rolled my eyes, my finger pumping in and out of her, and used my free hand to cup her breast. Her fingers dug into the blanket and she let out a soft gasp.
"So, 15. That's a good number, how do you feel about it," She groaned, arching her back.
"It's nice, not too small and not too big," I replied, feeling the walls of her pussy clench around my finger. "Why do you ask?"
"Well, like you said, it's not too big and not too small. There's room for more, and if not, we buy a new pair of shoes," Nakyung giggled, lifting her head to stare at me.
"More, huh," I nodded, inserting another finger inside. "You know I can't say no to that."
"I know, I know, you're like a bitch in heat when it comes to stealing panties," She teased, moaning as my thumb flicked her clit.
"Yeah," I whispered, my heart starting to race. "That's true, huh."
"Yup, and we should keep it up," She gasped, her back arching again, her legs closing in around my arm. "There's- ah, so much- shit, there's so many-ah, girls we haven't hit yet, and there's, oh fuck, there's a lot. Oh, God."
"Mhm, a lot, huh," I nodded, leaning forward, hovering over her. She pried open her eyes past the drying out jizz, looking up at me.
"Slow down, slow down," She hissed, her pussy clenching tightly. "Not too much, not too fast. Fuck, okay."
"Alright," I leaned back and slowed my hand down, the sound of my fingers sliding in and out was soft and wet. She let out a heavy sigh, her arms dropping and sprawling across the mattress.
"Fuck, right there, stay there, oh God," She moaned, her toes curling. "Fuck."
"So, you wanna steal more, huh," I whispered, her eyes staring into mine, a slightly dazed and drunk look in her eye.
"Yeah, pretty much. What's the point of a hit list if you never finished it," She panted, her hips rocking against my hand.
"Yeah, yeah, true, totally true," I hummed, a small smile on my face. I knew the answer. There's no way I was ever going to be able to quit stealing panties. Not now, not ever. I love it too much, and there's always more to do. More people to target, more girls to steal from, more panties to obtain.
"C'mon, what's your plan, Hwang Minjae. Let's hear it," Nakyung whined, her eyebrows scrunched, her hands balling the sheets.
"I don't know," I shrugged. "It comes to me in the moment, you know that."
"Mmm, yeah, I know," She murmured, her eyes struggling to stay open. "Okay, well, can you- can you, fuck, can you just start with the people on the hit list. Like, the people you haven't gotten to yet?"
"Sure, sure," I nodded. "I'm thinking about it.
"Mhm," Nakyung bit her lip, her chest rising and falling with each labored breath. "Like Tzuyu, fuck, don't forget we still have her fucking OnlyFans account."
"Right, right," I whispered, watching as her pussy tightened around my fingers.
"We've been holding onto it for months, how do you feel about it?" She asked.
"I feel fine," I stated, knowing what Nakyung's had planned for my friend and feeling indifferent. It was a strange feeling, I would remember how adamant and against the idea I was when Nakyung had first brought it up. It's been a while, and the two of us have been through so much.
It felt like we were in too deep and there was no point in backing out, no matter how uncomfortable and immoral I thought this whole thing was. I was past the point of no return.
"G-Great, just fucking great," Nakyung grunted, her pussy squeezing tightly around my fingers. She arched her back and clenched her teeth, her toes curling. "We fucking blackmail the shit out of Tzuyu then, how's that?"
"Sounds great, yeah," I mumbled.
"Slow down, give me another second," Nakyung groaned, her eyes shut. I pulled my fingers out of her and held her pussy with my fingers. She took a few breaths before she relaxed her body, her muscles going lax. "We tell her we'll reveal her dirty secret to the school unless she meets us somewhere, and she brings us her underwear for us to take. How's that?"
"Yeah, sounds great," I whispered.
"Mmm, good. What about the other goobers? Yeji? Jennie? Or Saerom?" She sighed, her chest rising and falling.
"I mean, we'll cross them eventually, right," I shrugged, feeling my fingers start to move on their own once again.
"Y-yeah, true," Nakyung nodded, her thighs squeezing shut after her break.
"What else, what else, oh fuck, fuck," She hissed, her eyes squeezing shut. Her back arched off the bed and she threw her head back, a long moan leaving her mouth. "Your hot coworkers, Karina and Chungha. Yeah, yeah, let's focus on them."
"Sure," I whispered.
"They- they're hot, and probably wear cute- ah, underwear," She whined, her legs shaking as she grew closer.
"Yup," I murmured, watching her chest rise and fall.
"Got any ideas? I can't be the only one coming up wit- FUCK," She gasped, her hips jerking upwards as I drilled my fingers deep into her pussy to shut her up.
"I've got an idea or two," I answered. "Chungha just recently moved out, and she wants to do a housewarming party at her new apartment. I figure I will do what I did at Taeyeon's house and crack a window for us to sneak through later on."
"Uh huh," She moaned.
"And, well, I just learned where Karina lives today," I explained, thinking back to my car ride. "I do what I did with the Shin sisters and try to nap her house key during work or something."
"So we're repeating ourselves, huh," She whimpered, her thighs pressing against each other, her hands clawing the bed.
"Looks like it, yup," I nodded, watching her grow closer.
"Sure, if it ain't broke, don't fix it," Nakyung grinned, her tongue running over her lip.
"Yup."
"Ah, okay," She sighed. "Now, what about that Japanese chick, Kazuha and her friend Minji?" I stopped for a second and looked at the girl, her face contorted in pleasure. Chaewon's friend and her roommate flashed inside of my head.
"I need some time to think," I stated. "I'll probably bring out the card cloner somehow."
"That's fair, that's fair," She nodded, her legs trembling.
"Mmm, shit, you're close," I smirked, looking down at her.
"Uh huh," Nakyung groaned.
"Let's finish you off, yeah," I murmured.
"Yeah, yeah, please, just fuck, go faster," She whined. I pulled my hand away from her clit and grabbed her hip, digging my nails into her. I began to rub her clit and curl my fingers, pushing her to the edge.
"Oh fuck," Nakyung groaned.
"I'm almost, fuck, I'm almost, oh my God," She moaned. "Shit."
Her breathing turned into short gasps and pants, her body tense and trembling. My hand was a blur, rubbing and stroking her pussy until she couldn't handle it anymore.
"Yes, yes, oh, God, shit, fuck," She cried out, her voice cracking as her back arched and she came. She squirted a bit, a thin liquid shooting out of her, a few drops landing on her stomach. Her thighs trembled and shook, her body spasming. She squirted again, a longer stream landing on her skin and staining the sheets.
"Holy, fuck," I whispered, watching as she twitched and jerked. She relaxed her body and slowly went limp, a sigh leaving her lips. She pried open her eyes and looked at me, a tired smile on her face.
"Fuck," She mumbled. "Thanks, man."
"Yup," I nodded, pulling my fingers out of her, and sitting up, giving her space. She stared at the ceiling, catching her breath and regaining her energy. The two of us sat in silence for a minute before she finally sat up and swung her legs off the bed.
"Is that all?" She asked, her hair a mess, cum and sweat on her skin.
"What do you mean?"
"Is that it? No more, or anything," She questioned, looking back at me.
"What do you mean?" I repeated.
"Your hit list is outdated like I said," She stated, staring at me. "There's still plenty more girls that you haven't name dropped yet. You've mentioned you have a new coworker, young, cute, bubbly, Ningning, I think. That's a perfect opportunity, and she's right under our noses."
"She's the manager's niece," I explained, shaking my head.
"Oh, that'll be a fun heist then," Nakyung smirked. "But you get what I'm saying, yeah.
20. Ning Yizhou
"Yeah," I replied, the thought of Ningning lingering in the back of my mind. "I'm not sure though. I can't imagine a way to steal her underwear, our usual ways wouldn't work with her."
"Then we get creative," Nakyung suggested, grabbing her clothes.
"Get creative," I repeated.
"Let me dwell on it for a bit, I'll come up with something," She said.
"I'm sure you will," I mumbled, laying down and getting comfortable. She laid down next to me, the both of us laying together in silence.
"This has been a fun few months, hasn't it," Nakyung murmured, a small smile on her lips.
"Yeah, I guess so," I responded.
"I feel like this has been the most exciting year of my life," She confessed, turning her head to stare at me.
"How so?"
"Because, before this year, before we did all this, life was just boring. Until you blessed me with a pleasant surprise one day and showed me a new side of you. Then things got interesting," She giggled.
"I guess I could agree," I shrugged.
"You and me, we're best friends, we've been friends for as long as I can remember, and this past year has brought us closer than ever," She drawled. "Plus, the sex is great."
"Yup," I replied. I started reflecting back on the past few months and all the things that have happened. Everything from the first pair of underwear that fateful day, Nakyung's snooping around my room, rekindling an old flame. From there, it seemed like Nakyung's thirst to help me and continue this crazy journey has made the last months one big roller coaster ride.
"So, who else do you have your eyes on? Is there anyone new you're thinking about?" Nakyung asked, pulling me out of my thoughts. Over these past months, new faces and people have come into my life, and there were some in particular that stood out to me.
"I have a couple," I admitted, taking a deep breath.
"Alright, alright, who are they? Who are the lucky ones," Nakyung questioned, sitting up and getting comfortable. I followed suit and sat up, crossing my legs and leaning towards the girl. Starting off, a particular League-obsessed nerd entered my mind.
"There's this girl in one of my classes, her name is Park Minju. We talk from time to time, and she seems sweet," I recalled, a small smile on my lips.
"Sweet, huh," Nakyung teased.
"She's nice. And, well, there's something about her. There's just something there that makes me want her underwear. It might be how nerdy she is, it's cute, I'm not sure. But yeah, she's on the top of my head right now."
21. Park Minju
"While I'm at it, there's this really pretty girl in my English class. Her name is Cho Miyeon," I continued. "She's a fashion major like Jennie and Xiaoting. Well, actually, she knows them, they might be friends even. Anyway, she's pretty, and well, I feel like she's out of my league. So, of course, I want to steal her panties so fucking bad."
22. Cho Miyeon
"Wow, you have a lot of potential in this department," Nakyung nodded, a slight look of pride in her eyes. I didn't even realize she had grabbed her phone and was going on Instagram to stalk the girls. "You're right, this Minju girl is a total loser. All her page is filled with is anime memes and League of Legends."
"Don't say that, she's cool," I defended, with myself being somewhat of a loser like her.
"Well, it doesn't matter. If she's on your list, we'll get her. What about the fashion model, what's her name, Miyeon." Nakyung took a moment to look her up on her phone, "Huh, damn, she is hot. Like, fuck, she's just so pretty."
"Right?" I grinned, looking over at her page. Miyeon's photos were all professionally done, and her feed was nothing but a collection of gorgeous and stunning pictures. It really reminded me of Jennie and Xiaoting's pages, their looks being a huge part of their influence.
"I see why you're infatuated with her," Nakyung stated, her eyes scrolling through her page.
"So, yeah, there's those two," I finished.
"Uh huh, right," Nakyung nodded, taking a moment to scroll on her phone before turning her attention back to me. "Actually, I feel like you're leaving out some key people here."
"Key people?"
"Yes, Hwang Minjae," Nakyung smiled, her eyes looking straight into mine. "I know there's someone you haven't mentioned, and you can't keep me waiting, c'mon. I'm not that dumb, am I?"
I knew who she was referring to, but I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of admitting it.
"Are you going to grab a pair of Miss Chaewon's undies for me?"
"No." I answered without hesitation. Nakyung's face dropped a bit. Her shoulders raised and her eyebrows furrowed, her lips pressed in a tight line.
"Wait, why not?"
"That's my girlfriend. She's not someone that I'm trying to steal underwear from," I explained, my cheeks heating up a bit.
"Why not?" Nakyung repeated.
"We're dating. She's not going to be a part of the heists and stuff. She's off-limits," I stated.
"That's not fair," Nakyung complained, throwing her head back. "Why can't we steal a pair from her? It's just one, and then that's it. It's the easiest one to get, you'd probably get it just by asking."
"No." I replied.
"Ugh, fine," Nakyung pouted. I bit the inside of my cheek, feeling a little guilty. I told myself, over and over, that my life as a panty thief is separate from the love I share with Chaewon. It felt a little weird when my best friend wanted to add her to the hit list.
"But," I began, and her attention immediately shot towards me.
"Yes?"
"How about we add her friends to the list, deal? Her roommate, Sakura Miyawaki, and her two school friends, Huh Yunjin and Hong Eunchae. It's a three over one deal," I offered. The half-naked girl's eyes widened, her face breaking into a smile.
"Alright, fuck yeah," Nakyung chuckled, nodding her head.
23. Sakura Miyawaki
24. Huh Yunjin
25. Hong Eunchae
"I think I have a plan for them," I murmured, trying to put the pieces together in my head.
"Really?"
"Something like that? I know I have to hang out with Chaewon and her friends in a few weeks, maybe I can pull something there," I thought out loud, trying to figure it out.
"Well, whatever you do, let me know. I'm all for it," Nakyung replied.
"Mmm, okay."
"So, yeah, those are the ones," I stated, my mind blanking on who else I wanted.
"Hmm," Nakyung hummed, staring at me with a small grin.
"What?"
"What are you leaving out?" She teased.
"Nothing," I mumbled.
"There's a whole other section you're not mentioning," She laughed. "Don't you forget about Haerin and her friends."
My throat clamped up as I choked out a, "No."
Nakyung's eyes widened and she leaned forward, her hands gripping the sheets.
"No, too, huh," She murmured. "What is your issue, Jae." She slowly whispered, her eyes staring at me.
"My issue," I repeated.
"First, it was Chaewon, but I get it, she's your girlfriend. You want to keep her clean, and innocent. Now it's Haerin. What's your issue, Hwang Minjae, what are you leaving out," She pressed.
"I just can't do it," I sighed.
"Why not?"
"I don't know," I whispered, that heavy feeling in my gut coming back.
"Do you not have a way, or an idea, or whatever. Or are you too much of a wimp," Nakyung teased, a smile on her lips.
"Just, listen to me, no Haerin," I groaned.
"Okay, okay," Nakyung nodded, scooching closer and giving me her full attention. "So Hanni and Danielle's free game."
"Sure," I replied.
"Alright, good, we'll have plenty of opportunities to get them. That's it, then," She said.
"Mmhm."
26. Hanni Pham
27. Mo Jihye (Danielle)
"That's it, then," Nakyung repeated, laying her head down on my thigh. "And we'll start this new journey whenever you want."
"Alright, sure," I murmured, watching as she stared at me, her eyes locked with mine.
"Sounds good," She grinned. We stayed silent for a minute, staring at each other.
"So, uh, should I head home?" Nakyung suggested.
"Yeah, it's getting pretty late."
This one came out a little later than I would like, but then again I had back-to-back vacations. I deserve a little break, right?! Nahhhhh, there's too many panties I need to obsess over. However, forewarning, my upload schedule might slowly become more inconsistent as school/work/life start to collide but never fear! I won't stop until I have boxes of panties written out! -PI
