Wonyoung was in a bad mood and all she needed was her favourite intern.
This is absolute fucking dogshit
Jang Wonyoung slammed the quarterly report onto the glass conference table. The loud smack reverberated through the room and the three senior executives shuddered in unison. Her sharp eyes narrowed as she scanned the disappointing numbers once more. The fashion division had failed to meet all the goals she had set for it in the previous quarter. There were fewer sales, the new campaign was sloppy and the excuses found in the footnotes made her boil.
“I don't pay you high wages so you can give me shitty food that a toddler could finger paint,” Wonyoung snarled. Her voice was like ice and every one of her words was filled with venom. “This is a slap in my face and this company! Fix it right now or YOU’RE FIRED!!!!!!!!!!! Get the fuck out of my office!”
The executives scrambled to their feet, and practically tripped, rushing out the door. Wonyoung sank into her plush leather chair as she gently massaged her temples with her well-groomed fingers. She was really in a bad mood. It had been all week long building up that stress of owning a large cosmetics and fashion business and today it reached a peak. Her mind ached, she was no longer patient, and she sure needed comfort this very minute.
Without hesitation, she put her finger down on the desk intercom. “Secretary Ahn, have Intern Jae come to my office right now. On his own.”
The open bull pen area became a scene of mourning. Rumours circulated around the desks like wildfire. The senior manager patted Jae on the shoulder and had pity in his eyes. “Good luck. It was nice to know you, Jae,” the man whispered.
Jae swallowed nervously and put his simple button down and cheap tie on his neck. From his small desk in the corner he rose, all eyes seemed to be on him as he walked down the hall. He had a pounding heart in his chest. All breathed the word that spells doom. Of course, Wonyoung was remembered throughout the building as the hard-boiled and bad-tempered CEO who was intolerant of failure. No one knew what it was about her that made them summon her so suddenly.
He went in and quietly closed the door. The office was elegant with a window that ran from the floor to the ceiling and looked out on the city of Seoul and with modern furniture and a large sofa of velvet in the middle of the room. Wonyoung was seated at the windows, in a custom-made designer outfit, and her posture was stiff, intimidating, and long hair hung down her back.
“Ms. Jang? You called for me?” Slightly shaking his voice, Jae said softly.
Wonyoung turned around. Her shoulders narrowed, and her look turned into a placating, perhaps pitiable, pout. The terrible boss that everyone was afraid of was gone and a sweet, cute one that only Jae met was in his place.
“Baby~~,” she whined, raising her voice to a higher pitch, with affection. “Hold me!”

He walked over to the plush velvet sofa. This was their secret. Wonyoung had fallen in love with her intern since the moment she laid eyes on him. He was the one she was looking for and she had decided to take him all the way. She didn't hesitate to get on his lap and wrap her arms tightly around his neck, burying her face in his chest.
“Everyone here is so fucking stupid,” she mumbled against his shirt as if she was a sulky baby in need of attention. “My head hurts so much all the time, they make me so mad.”
Jae nodded and took her hand in his, lifting her up to his chest and holding her. He took his fingers and started running them through her soft and long hair, smoothing it out. He bent his head down and softly kissed the top of her head. “Baby, you're doing great. Don't take the blame for those reports. The team failed you, but you are still the best and most intelligent one here.”
“Exactly,” she huffed, nudging even closer to his warmness. She didn't mind her fancy face paint smearing on his cheap shirt. All she wanted was his love to remove the bad mood. “I'm a genius, and they're stressing me out with their bad results. Praise me, baby. Tell me I am pretty and that I am your favorite.”
Jae said softly, “You’re beautiful.” He petted her back softly with his hand while the other hand played with her hair. “My favorite by far. The prettiest CEO in the entire world.”
She pressed herself firmly against him, in a way that could be described as a cuddle-hug hug, like a pet cat wanting its petting. She whispered sweetly, “Keep on going. I had a very bad morning, those idiots didn't need to waste my time with their data, make it better, hold me tighter.”
He gave her more sweet words to hear, saying that she is a great leader, and her smile makes his day better. She lifted her head to kiss him, and he took her lips, kissing her softly with love.
“You always make me feel better,” she replied in that cuddly voice, pouting at him. “I don't know what I would do without my favorite intern spoiling me like this.”
They remained in that for a few minutes, lost in the cosy romance of the moment. Then, the heavy oak door burst open suddenly.
“Boss, the marketing department needs your signature on the new campaign files before...”
It was Yujin, her secretary and her fucking best friend.
A slow, highly amused smirk spread across Yujin's face. “Wow,” she chuckled as she tapped her iPad against her side.

Wonyoung pushed her flushed face back into Jae's chest in embarrassment and yelled,
“Yujin, get the fuck out!”
Yujin just smiled and left her room immediately.
Wonyoung looked at Jae and whispered, “Should we continue?”
