Dahyun kicked off her shoes at the entrance of Nayeon’s apartment. Today was the first day of her girlfriend’s vacation leave and Nayeon wanted to make the most out of it since she hasn’t had one in a long time.
What Dahyun didn’t expect was being greeted with a text message the night before saying that they were going to take a trip to Incheon for a few days. She didn’t want to complain, but it just took her by surprise that Nayeon already added her to her agenda.
Guess she was going to meet Nayeon’s parents so soon in their relationship. But again, she didn’t mind. Dahyun was a good person, an absolute cupcake, she was confident they were gonna love her. If only she was able to exude such confidence if she was already face to face with them.
Dahyun set the groceries on top of the counter, placed her travel bag at the side and looked up at the clock. It was already almost ten in the morning and Nayeon should be up. Her driver was going to pick them up later in the afternoon and she had to at least make sure Nayeon was packed and ready.
She walked over to Nayeon’s door and knocked on it gently. “Babe? I’m here.”
There was no answer and that made Dahyun sigh. She was probably still sleeping. So Dahyun carefully opened the door, the scents of baby powder mixed with flowery scents invaded her senses, loving how she knew this was Nayeon’s perfume.
She took a step inside and closed the door, sighing at how the room was so dark and Nayeon could be seen bundled up under her blanket, squirming on her spot.
Dahyun couldn’t help but shake her head and smile at her girlfriend. She walked over to her bedside, bent a little to brush her hand on Nayeon’s messy hair.
“Morning, beautiful.”
Nayeon groaned a bit as she shifted in bed, reaching over to her side table to turn on the lamp. She blinked her eyes open and smiled when she saw Dahyun standing in front of her.
“Good morning,” Nayeon greeted groggily and then extended her arms towards her. “Hug, please.”
Dahyun wasn’t showing it, but if she could, she would probably clench her heart at how adorable Nayeon was because this was too much for her to handle. This woman was older than her, but she sure knew how to act like a needy baby.
Not that Dahyun was complaining. She absolutely loved it.
In the end, she simply held a smile and sighed. She removed her jacket first, placing it gently on the nightstand and then knelt down beside the bed to hug Nayeon.
“You smell nice,” Nayeon said, nuzzling herself closer to Dahyun’s hair and neck.
Dahyun felt her body go warm, already shivering from being ticklish all over. “I went to the market. I probably smell like raw meat and vegetables.”
“No—” Nayeon inhaled deeply and then kept burying herself even further into Dahyun. “It’s your scent. The one where I know it’s you.”
She couldn’t help but blush at that, she really needed to get used to Nayeon's words and how easy it was for her to say it. Especially if it was out of nowhere.
Dahyun’s already the girlfriend, what other step did she need to get her to stop being a flustered mess?
She pulled back and stood up straight again, earning a whine from Nayeon, her hands grabbing Dahyun’s shirt to go back down again.
“We have to get ready for the trip, come on babe,” Dahyun cooed, brushing Nayeon’s long, brown hair away from her face.
Nayeon kept pouting, not wanting to let go, and before Dahyun could say something again, her mind was hushed by soft lips on hers.
She loved that fact about Nayeon, a fact that she decided to invent because even if no professional or scientist on earth had agreed to it, it was still true to her. That Nayeon had the ability to silence her mind.
But she wasn’t going to be cheesy and say that it was because of one kiss. Because it wasn’t with just one kiss. She wasn’t sure if she said this enough to her girlfriend, but Nayeon’s entirety was just amazing. It could be a kiss, a smile, her laugh, the touch of her fingers on her arm, sometimes it was the way she chewed her food or how her brows scrunch when she was busy reading articles on her sofa.
Dahyun could just take one look at the woman and all the jumbled words that made no sense at all were gone. The fears and insecurities that she had were all nothing but burnt into ashes, and Nayeon was a gentle gust of wind that made it seem like a passing experience.
Nayeon was a blessing.
Dahyun’s faith in her religion was not as strong as it used to be, but her beliefs were still there, and she was confident enough to say that Nayeon was a blessing.
The one thing that Dahyun had noticed about Nayeon was how she refused any form of passionate intimacy during sex.
Dahyun couldn’t say for sure due to her inexperience and that Nayeon was the only woman she had ever slept with. But she wasn’t naive enough to not know that there was a difference between having sex and making love.
Sure, she enjoyed how mind blowing Nayeon was in bed and how Dahyun was sure she had died a couple of times and brought back to life because her girlfriend was that good.
But it occurred to her that even with their passionate kissing that morning, the sweet whispers they shared, the small and loving promises that were uttered in between, leading it to passionate sex, Dahyun was hoping they would take things slow or at least feel each other.
Maybe it could be Nayeon’s sex drive because she knew how to fuck like an animal. But it wasn't like Dahyun didn’t like it, she loved it. But there was a part of her that wanted to just hold Nayeon, caress her hair, look at her longingly, making sure each stroke of their pleasure hit the deepest part of their hearts. Nothing fast paced, rushed or maybe even dirty.
Dahyun enjoyed the dirty talk, and Nayeon sure had a subtle kink for being called her slut. But what if Dahyun didn’t want to say these things? What if she just wanted to chant loving words to her? Or moan out Nayeon’s name because it felt that good for her?
So as much as she loved looking at Nayeon bouncing on her cock again at that moment, both of them completely forgetting that they needed to be on the road already, Dahyun wanted to know what it was like for Nayeon to be taken care of in bed.
Maybe she needed to make the effort. Nayeon had done so much, taught her so many things and if Dahyun discovered something that Nayeon didn’t know then she wouldn’t hesitate to teach her as well.
The drive to Incheon wasn’t as bad as she thought it would be. Dahyun had no trouble driving all the way there despite Nayeon’s protest of letting the driver do it instead. But on the last minute, she decided it would be hassle-free if her girlfriend didn’t have to worry about an extra person tagging along with them.
Plus, Dahyun didn’t mind being the one driving Nayeon around, because she knew the older woman was capable when she was feeling up for it.
This was Nayeon’s vacation, and Dahyun knew she rarely got one, so she wanted to make sure her girlfriend was pampered.
Once they arrived at Nayeon’s old apartment, the two decided to spend the rest of the day inside; ordered in their meals, watched a bunch of movies that Nayeon wanted and slept on the couch because Nayeon didn’t want to move and Dahyun didn’t have the heart to tell her girlfriend to get out of her comfortable spot.
And the next few days have been nothing but the both of them, going around Incheon, Nayeon showing Dahyun around, taking her to different museums and small parks. Dahyun couldn’t help but smile at the thought that Nayeon was doing exactly what they did during their first date.
It was perfect.
But now, on that particular day, Dahyun felt a little more nervous than usual. It wasn’t meeting Nayeon’s parents, because she always had a certain confidence when it came to older people and parents. She was actually really good friends with Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon’s mom, so she knew she wouldn’t have a problem.
It was because she was moments away from meeting Nayeon’s best friends.
Women that could be categorized under the type of people that made Dahyun a nervous wreck. Because she was aware these were beautiful women, very protective of their friend—and as Nayeon warned—two out of three of them had an exuberant amount of energy.
Dahyun was sure that she could take on the challenge. Ever since she proved herself that she already passed the biggest hurdle of getting a girl to like her, she believed that meeting other women without being a blubbering mess was something she could finally do.
As Nayeon parked the car in front of the house, she switched the engine off and held Dahyun’s hand. “Don’t be shocked by the energy my friends give, okay? They’re excited to meet you.”
She nodded. “I know. I’m excited to meet them too.” Dahyun tried to feign her nervousness with a big smile, but she knew she couldn’t lie to Nayeon, so she took a deep breath. “I’ll let you know if I can’t handle it.”
Nayeon smiled and then gently pushed forward to lay a long, loving kiss on her lips. “Okay, babe.”
The two walk out of the car and walk along the entry path to the house. Dahyun knew this was one of Sana’s vacation houses when she and her family would want to visit Korea, it wasn’t too lavish and extravagant for it to boast their family’s fortune.
But it was good enough for Dahyun to be aware that Sana was definitely rich. Because of all people, she knew how hard it was to even rent out a decent apartment these days. Her and Chaeyoung had struggled enough to make ends meet, much more having multiple owned houses and some were plotted in different countries.
