Matthew starts the car’s engine then drives away from the parking lot of his bank company. Matthew is raised with a golden spoon. His family is entirely wealthy from his great grandfather.

His mother owned a hospital, His father is a businessman turned politician. His two older brothers owned a supermarket and television network.

Being part of the conglomerate family makes people amused and envy. During Highschool and College, Many girls approached him to get a chance to become part of the family.

To be fairness, These girls are attractive but none of them caught Matthew’s attentuon.

Not until one fateful night, A party held because his father was elected as Mayor for the third time. Everyone is invited. Fellow politicians, business figures and their families to celebrate another success.

His mother keeps introducing girls around his age. Pushing Matthew to get a woman to marry.

“Son, This is the daughter of Yu Family.”

“Hello. I’m Karina. Nice to finally meet you, Matthew.”

As soon as Matthew takes a look of a woman who’s quite shorter than him. Suddenly, he was stunned by her beauty. He was almost going to question Karina if she’s real human. He reached out to shake her hand.

For some reason, Matthew couldn’t stop looking at Karina’s face especially the mole below her lips.

The waiteress stops by in front of them. Matthew and Karina both reached out to get a glass of wine from the tray. As if their minds are connected, reaching out on a single glass of wine. “Oh..” Both exclaimed.

Matthew withdrawn his hand. “Go ahead.” Making Karina take that glass of wine. Matthew just got another one.

“Cheers for your father’s new term.” Matthew nods as they clicked their glasses. They took a sip of their wine.

Karina is looking afar. Staring at her father who’s busy talking business to other business people. “New York has changed ever since your father became a Mayor. I’ve always wanted to live here.”

“Why? Is South Korea that bad, you wanted to live here?” He looked at her. Karina responds a chuckle.

“It’s not that bad. It’s just… my childhood dream to live in New York. You know, Times Square and everything.” Karina took a sip of her wine.

“Now that you’re finally here. Did you achieved it?”

“Of course! I loved every second here. It feels like living in a dream. It’s chaotic sometimes but.. not that unpleasant.”

“Good thing, This city didn’t disappoint you.”

Karina softly laughs. “You’re really proud of this city huh? What’s the best parts aside from Times Square and Burgers?”

Something clicked on Matthew. As if he thought Karina is testing him. Facing her completely. “Oh, There’s good places around here. Don’t ever doubt me, Karina.”

Karina giggled. The melodic sound of her giggles almost melt him on the spot. Instead, he blushed and sips the remaining wine.

“Anyway, I heard the news about your company, Eden Entertainment’s broke the highest profit record. Congratulations.”

“Thank you. Despite the issues and all, my family company able to reach high alonside the other big companies. Hearts2Hearts debut is a massive success and I’m proud of my girls.”

“Speaking of artists. I… I’m actually fan of Aespa. I liked the song ‘Up’.” Karina’s eyes widen in surprise.
