The Sultry and Pervy Soda in Apartment 307

Oh yeah, bokseu fic time (I’m back).

I really wanted to talk about this fic, because it’s honestly so damn good. Like actually. Generationally good. I came across this fic as a random recommendation by a certain husband of tripleS Seoyeon, and I’m not sure what I expected, but what did happen was a complete stunlock of my brain as i proceeded to :pphurt irl with every subsequent paragraph i read.

It’s not complicated. It’s voyeur Soda with a main of hot smut. Can’t really go wrong with that. But the execution of it is just done so… correctly?

It’s hard to phrase in a way, but every line in the fic just capture the heat of the moment so well. It genuinely warmed my entire body and made my head dizzy with how well the lust and pure eroticism of the moment was conveyed.

And perhaps it’s down to box’s simple narrator. Matching the simple objective of the fic, we don’t really do too much exploration. Most of what is needed to be communicated is simply communicated. We don’t need to think too much, just focus on the moment. More than just being a smooth read, I think the fic also does really well in being slightly complex in wordplay and structure, so each line itself feels more rewarding to work through.

There’s some interesting comic breaks, some great scene separations with the use of the line dividers. There’s also a great surprise in the fic as well, bokseu finding ways to elevate the smut scenes as the fic progresses.

And the ideas of the fic are simply great. Again, pphurt-ing at every subsequent paragraph. It’s so impressive how well and how hot the fic is. Genuinely so impressed. It’s the mark of a truly great writer how well they are able to make their readers feel. Totally deserved to be in my reading list.
