Love Wins All

Today we finally have our first request, which I'm delighted by. I would love to do this for more up and coming authors, to help give them a little more spotlight and attention.

The fic itself is a Minju (employed) fluff by JewelFall, and it's a great fluffy sandwich of a fic to be om-nom-nom-ed. I'll be the first to admit that I haven't read other works by Jewelfall, but I did genuinely enjoy this short little ball of sweetness this fic is. It's a tried and true rivals to lovers trope, and, like most of the other fics I've previously reviewed, it excels on it's unique ideas and execution.

I particularly enjoyed some of the dialogue ideas in this fic, some of the punchlines land well and by the end of them it left a genuine smile on my face. It's always a sign of a good fic if it's able to evoke some form of emotion from its readers, so I can compliment JewelFall on that.

The pacing could be more well-balanced, but I think this fic, as short as it is, still does well to hit all its marks. There aren’t much errors with the prose as well. I like the focus on the feel good moments, on the plot beats rather than the entire execution.

Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised, and I am very much interested to see what else our author has up their sleeves. This was a good recommendation for me, and I believe it will be a good recommendation for others too who want a short burst of good fluff. Keep up the good work (is that too academic lul).
