She was playing that new Pokemon game again, the one where you only do battles and don’t explore. And since they are on a short break before resuming their world tour, of course Chaeryoung will use her dayoffs efficiently and try to be the best trainer ever.
And now you can see her, bashing the pillow beside her profusely as her discarded phone plays the battle sequence.

“You’ll get ‘em next time, champ” You say to her as she raises her head, her hair all over the place as she tries to smile and stay positive.
“Yeah..I’ll beat them next time, and I’ll finally get to the Master Ball Tier! Fuck those stupid weather teams!”
You hop into the hate train with her as she talks about stupid weather teams, and listen as she rants and rants about how people who use weather teams should-–[REDACTED]
20 minutes later…

Staraptor Contrary inverted the stat change!
Staraptor Attack sharply rose!
Now you see her poor team get mauled by a big emo looking bird, as the frustrated Chaeryoung buries her face into your chest. Mumbling soft profanities towards the trainer she was against.
Staraptor used Close Combat!
It's super effective!
The Kingambit she nicknamed “Queen Gambit” couldn’t do anything but sit there as the emo bird was much faster than her. The Focus Sash was already broken by an early Moonblast from the opposing Whimsicott, as Close Combat finishes the battle

And somehow she is now back to the Great Ball Tier, going on a lose streak because of Archaludons and Mega Straraptors.
“I wanna kill myself…” her muffled voice echoes through your chest
“Hey, no, we don’t say that~” Your gentle parenting comes out as you rub her back.
“It’s just a game Chaery~, No need to be so down”
Her head jolts up as her face was painted with offense.
“What do you mean, its just a game?…This is life or death, Y/N. BECAUSE I WANT TO BE THE VERY BEST LIKE NO ONE! AND I MEAN LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS!”
You didn’t know where this passion came from, as 5 days ago she didn’t even know anything about Pokemon. You calm her down with cuddles as you assure her that she will beat every Archaludon or Mega Straraptor team she will encounter. You stop her from queuing back up and force her to go on a walk with you and touch some grass.
You groggily wake up as your hand tries to find and pull Chaeryoung into a cuddle. But a cold bed greets you as you look up and see her gone. You slowly sit up as you rub your eyes before looking at the clock
‘3:28am’
You look to see if she was in the bathroom, but the light wasn’t on. Slowly you stand up and walk out the room to find her.
You see a faint glow coming from one of the rooms, it was the small room both of you turned into a small dance studio. You slowly peek into the room to see her sitting on the floor, as candles her sister bought her was encircled around her.
“Mwhehehehehehe, now you feel what I feel huh? You fucking bitch” She said through her gritted teeth. Her reflection was like a scene from a horror movie. Her eyes wide as they stare at her bright screen illuminating her scary and manic expression. Her opponent makes a severe misplay as they put Pelipper back into the field. She watches with a crazy smile as her masterpiece slowly unravels.

You are too sleepy to deal with this as you gently close the door and go back to bed. Leaving her by herself doing god knows what in that room.
You really love your girlfriend, and you have to love all of her. Even if a game makes her go into her scary crazy mode.
