    Y/n’s POV

    "Baby...baby..babe...Y/n" a feminine voice softly calling me out while my body shook softly. I shot my eyes open, and the first thing I saw was Mina in front of me, sitting on my lap.

    I rubbed my sleepy eyes and tiredly stared at her beautiful face. I then eyed her up and down, noting that she wore a short black dress that hugged her body perfectly and light makeup.

    For some strange reason, I felt myself tearing up, so I hugged her. Which caught her by surprise, but nonetheless, she hugged me back. "You okay, baby?" I nodded my head in response, still not letting go of her and hugging her slim waist.

    "Well, you should go and get ready, there are a few hours left until the party starts, and I have a feeling it might take us a while to arrive at your parents' place." I mumbled an “ok” and finally let go of her. She grabbed my hand, dragging me upstairs to our bedroom.

    "Here, put this on." She handed me the suit with a smile. I took off my shirt slowly because I was still tired, and in the corner of my eye, I could see Mina bite her lip. I then took off the rest of my clothes and put on the suit she had for me.

    Once I had the suit on, she then neatly combed my hair and put perfume on my neck, wrist, and chest. I was confused about why she was helping me out, since the last time I checked, she was mad at me.

    "And you're done." Mina dusted off my shoulder and looked up at me with that cute smile of hers. "Let's go." Before she could walk out, I called out 'wait' and quickly grabbed her wrist, then slid my hand down to hold her hand, which made her stop in her tracks. "Are you not mad at me anymore?" I carefully asked.

    She turned towards me with a smile and cupped my face with her hands. "Baby, I was never mad at you. The only reason why I didn't talk to you was that I knew I was in the wrong, and you know how much I hate it when I'm wrong." I smiled and snaked my hands around her waist, pulling her closer to me.

    "Well, if it makes you feel better, part of this was my fault, too. I shouldn't have yelled at you, and I should've followed you around like a lost puppy so that I'll be able to know what you're up to." I softly spoke to cheer her up.

    She slapped my chest and giggled. "No thanks, I'd rather get lost in the shopping center than hear you constantly complaining to me about either walking too much or carrying all the bags, which again I am always thankful for." She rolled her eyes playfully as I chuckled.

    "So we're okay now ?" She nodded her head in response and pulled me down using my jacket and kissed me. The taste of her cherry lipstick took over my taste buds as my tongue danced around each other. I squeezed her waist slightly and deepened our kiss as my hands made their way down to her ass, but before I could sneak my hand under her dress, she quickly slapped my hand and pulled away, causing me to groan in annoyance.

    "Nuh uh. You'll have to wait until we get back home," she said, looking into my eyes with a slight smirk. "But we're already home. Can't we just ditch this party ?" I whined.

    "Nope," she said, making sure to emphasize the 'p', "we have already ditched these parties too many times," and patted my chest before walking away with her hips swaying and bending down to pick her bag up, and when she stood back up, she looked over her shoulder, probably to tease me even more, then walked back towards me.

    “You’re killing me,” I yelled as she walked out the door of the bedroom. “Oh, I know baby,” she said while walking away and giggling.

    ~~~
    Mina linked her arm around mine before we entered the house. We were greeted with loud music, people dancing, the smell of alcohol, and the sound of chattering. "Y/n! Finally, you've arrived!" John exclaimed and brought me into a hug. He then shifted his gaze to my side, "and Mrs. Myoui." He smiled and brought her into a hug too.
    "You should start saying Mrs. L/n now, it's gonna change soon," Mina said to him, showing him the diamond ring.
    "Ah, right. My bad. He sarcastically said as he playfully rolled his eyes. "So where's mum and dad?" I questioned. "They're at the kitchen island talking with their friends," John answered while he pointed to where they were. "Daddy!" Felix, John, and Sana’s child yelled as he ran towards John.
    And yes, John and Sana have gotten married. She felt lonely, so I introduced her to my single brother, and they hit it off, and I always take credit for their relationship.
    John carried him up and gave him a kiss on the cheek, causing the little one to giggle. "He's so grown. Last time I saw him, he wasn't able to walk yet." I pinched his cheeks, causing him to giggle even more. Unbeknownst to me, Mina was watching our interaction with an endearing smile.
    "The last time you saw him was the day Dad almost killed you for letting that situation happen at work." John chuckled, to which I rolled my eyes. "Mummy wants you," Felix said with a cute smile. "Alright, well uh...that's my cue to leave now. Oh! and don't forget to tell mum and dad to cool it with the drinks, we all know how they are with alcohol."
    I chuckled. "Alright, I will, I'll see you around." I watched John walk away while I waved goodbye to Felix. But before I went to the kitchen, Mina pulled me aside, “I have a question.”
    “Yeah, what is it?” I asked her, “Do you see us having kids in the future?” I thought about it. “Yes. I can imagine so many new things with you, rather than how I used to be. But yes, I can imagine that with you.”
    “Ok then, how about after the countdown, we start the new year, making a new life?” I looked up and groaned
    “Again, are you sure we can’t just go home?”
    “Nope,” she then pecked my lips, “Let's go see your parents.”
    ~~
    We walked to the kitchen island to see Mum and Dad laughing loudly with their other friends. "Have you ever seen my parents drunk as hell?" I asked Mina, to which she shook her head with a small smile. "Well, today will be your lucky day," I told her before making our way towards them.
    "Mum, Dad," I spoke up, and they stopped whatever they were doing and turned their heads to stare at me.
    "Y/n! Mina! You're here!" Mum slurred out loud, which made me look around to see that there were a few people staring at us. "How's the baby making going?" Dad asked out of the blue, causing me to widen my eyes and Mina to hide her face behind my arm in embarrassment.
    "That's none of your business, Dad." I rolled my eyes and pulled out a chair for Mina to sit on. She mumbled a thank you and sat on the chair as she placed her bag on top of the island and leaned on me.
    "Oh, c'mon. since when does the family keep secrets now?" my Dad slurred out. "Since the day I hit puberty," he scoffed and waved me off before getting back to his friends. I shook my head softly and turned my attention to Mina, who was sitting quietly while looking around like a lost puppy. "Do you want to drink?" she asked, nodding cutely, making me chuckle.
    I grabbed a glass of champagne from the tray the waiter was holding and carefully handed it to Mina, who took it and downed it in a few seconds. "Aren't you going to drink?" she asked. "Someone has to drive, remember?"
    As I took a seat beside her, she grabbed another glass of champagne and downed it pretty quickly. "Slow down, baby, you're gonna spill the drink on your dress." I reminded her while I caressed her back gently. "Are any of your friends coming?" she asked, shrugging and pouting in response. “I know Sana is here somewhere, and I think Nayeon is here with Eva, and Jihyo will be here as well.”
    "Do you want me to stay by your side until you see Sana or the others?" She nodded, still pouting. “Yes please,” I chuckled in response and looked around the room to search for Eva. When my eyes caught a familiar short-haired blonde, I quickly pulled out my phone and texted Eva to come over to the kitchen island.
    Within a few minutes, she responded and came over to our place with her girlfriend, Nayeon, who you might remember as Mina’s group member. Yeah, they hit it off. "You look great!" Eva smiled. "You're not too bad yourself, Eva." I joked. "Nice to see you again Nayeon"
    "You too, Y/n," she then goes and sits next to Mina. "I have this friend I wanna introduce you to, do you wanna meet her?" Eva says, "Sure, but what for?" I asked, confused, "Remember when you said you were looking to hire a personal assistant because I left, and you still haven't replaced me?" I nod my head, "Well...I have a friend who has been an assistant for a really long time, but she recently quit due to some personal problems. She's got years of experience, she's patient, and she does things on time." Eva explained as I listened attentively.
    I turned to Mina to see that she was busy talking to Nayeon. "Hey, babe, I'm gonna go meet a friend, do you mind if I leave you here for a while?" Mina nodded and pecked my cheeks before getting back to the convo. Both Eva and I then walked away from them.
    "I'm telling you, Y/n, she's really great. She's super nice, really smart, and really quick at work. That's literally all the qualities you need to be an assistant."
    "We'll have to see first, Eva. I don't want this to end up like the last assistant I tried out. I do not need any more crazy and psycho assistants on my plate." "Yeah, sorry about that. She seemed ok. But I promise you she isn't anything like that." Eva reassured me and dragged me over to the small circle of people by the stairs.
    "Can I steal Vanessa for a moment? Thanks." Eva grabbed the middle-aged woman before they could answer. "Vanessa, this is Y/n L/n. Y/n, this is Vanessa." I smiled and shook her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Y/n."
    "Pleasure to meet you, too, Vanessa. I've heard a lot of good things about you from Eva." I told her, "Ah, I'm glad, and I, too, have heard so many good things about you." I smiled in response. "Uh, well, you guys should talk, you know, get to know more about each other before working with each other," Eva suggested, to which I nodded my head in agreement.
    "Ok, well, while you guys talk, I'm gonna go grab something for us to eat and drink," Eva told us before walking away to the buffet table. "So Vanessa, how long have you been working as an assistant ?" I started the convo.
    "I started 15 years ago, I was around 25..." she began.
