Chapter 8

Y/N’s POV

“What are you doing with my boyfriend?”

I turned to see it was Jane which surprised me. I stood up and asked her to stop following me. She grabbed me and told me that she was sorry but then turned her attention to Yeji and slapped her. Her action surprised me as I shouted at Jane and stood in front of Yeji.

“How can you slap Yeji? She’s just a friend,” I shouted.

“Your friend? How can you be friends with a kpop artist? You stupid kid. How dare you steal my boyfriend from me,” She shouted back.

Jane tried to hit Yeji for a second time but I managed to block her. I pushed Jane away and hugged Yeji, asking her if she was alright. She nodded her head, as the staff came in and pulled Jane out. Jane continued to rage as we both watched her get dragged out of the restaurant. After seeing her being dragged away, we went back to our seats and I took one of the wet tissues to wipe her cheeks.

“I’m sorry for what happened earlier,” I said.

“It’s ok oppa. I am just glad you are ok,” She said.

I smiled at her response and sat her down. The food soon arrived and she was surprised at what I had ordered. She was even more surprised to see that a bowl of chili crab was on the table. 

“That’s too much food!” she said.

“Well. The food is nice. If we can’t finish, we can have it packed up for your members,” I said.

Yeji gave me a surprised look as I nodded my head. She thanked me and we both started to eat. As we ate, we exchanged a few words regarding each other’s lives. We did not manage to finish the food and I got the waitress to pack up the food. As we waited, Yeji moved closer to my seat, much to my surprise. I looked at Yeji and she seemed like she wanted to tell me something. 

“I really like you Y/N oppa. Can’t you accept my feelings for you?” She asked me. 

“I…”

Before I could say anything, Yeji came forward and gave me a kiss on the lips. This action startled me, but I asked her why she did that. 

“That’s my first kiss. So please oppa. Can’t you like me back?” She asked.

I felt uncertain when she said that. Before I could answer her, the waitress returned with the packed food. I thanked the waitress and told Yeji that we should head back.

Yeji’s POV

Seeing the waitress handing us the food totally ruined the mood. I sighed and followed Y/N’s oppa out of the restaurant. The moment we got out of the restaurant, Y/N oppa told me that he would be sending me back to the hotel. I crossed my shoulder and refused to get into the car. 

“What are you doing Yeji? I need to send you back. I have to go home and rest,” he said.

“No, I refuse! I still want to spend time with you,” I shouted at him. 

I looked away and could feel him holding onto me. He then persuaded me to go back, which I refused to listen to. He sighed, asking me where I wanted to go. Hearing this made me smile, as I looked at Y/N oppa and told him that I want to go to the beach. He sighed and asked me to enter the car. I entered the car and put on my seat belt. I looked at Y/N Oppa putting the packed food in the boot and then sitting down at the driver’s seat. 

“You look cute,” I said to him. 

The moment I said that sentence, his face started to flush red. This made me chuckle as he drove off. The ride to the beach did not take long as it was close by. Y/N oppa showed the way once he parked the car. The beach was rather quiet but we did see couples around us. I took this opportunity to link arms with Y/N oppa which took him by surprise. 

“Wha.. what.. What are you doing?” he asked me.

“I just want to be closer to you,” I explained.
