He caught her smiling while texting someone. Oh~ Someone is jealous~
I checked my hair for nth time at the mirror. Looks presentable outside atleast. My shirt with nirvana logo on it, people in this generation thinks 1990 is ancient.
Paired with my favorite simple black hoodie on top. The same hoodie that I used for years.
Blue ripped jeans that shared the journey as my hoodie. Both went through the happy and sad years of highschool.
Sneakers that I brought using my first paycheck as restaurant crew years ago. It’s red color that I was amazed at first sight, now it’s faded by years of kicking balls and an actual balls.
Don’t ask me about that last line. I was a crazy idiot back then and often told to stay in detention, where I met Winter. Who’s detention in-charge.
First impression of her is cold person, just as her name. She always gives one word response but my annoying ass keeps bugging her until I finally broke her.
It backfired anyways, she shouted at me infront of everyone. Telling me how annoying I am, how my hair looks like a bird’s nest and how unfunny I am. She even warned me that she will file a restraining order.
Of course, I backed out. It’s not worth to keep bugging her. Until I saw her with few players from the basketball club. They’re towering her and she looked so uncomfortable. I never seen her being so uncomfortable and helpless.
I took a step forward but I remember her warning against me. I said “Fuck it!” and gambled my life for that girl.
Well… It paid off, actually. I kicked their asses and Winter couldn’t say anything. She just looked at me with that wide surprised eyes.
That was our turning point. From one liners to literally chatting. Whenever I was sent to the detention, she rolled her eyes but I caught her smiling.
I sprayed perfurme and checked myself on the mirror once again before finally leaving the apartment.
As soon as I exited the apartment building, I saw her and looks like she’s busy on her phone. Caught her smiling, that kind of smile that shows her teeth and gums.
“Whoever you’re texting with, it won’t last long.”
I made her frown but still glued to her phone. “What makes you say that?”
“Well..” I put my hands on the hoodie’s pockets. “Based on my personal experience. At first, it will be happy-happy but then ends up heartbroken.”
“Ahh… Like that girl you met on a dating app. Giselle, right? She dumped you after the first date.” She chuckled. SHE’S LAUGHING AT MY PAINFUL MOMENT.
I met Giselle on a dating app. She looked so hot and tried my shot. We talked about movies, music and our everyday life.
She liked Ariana Grande, I liked Bring Me The Horizon. She liked Green tea, I liked Iced Americano. We both have different taste of movies but atleast we both love deadpool.
We met and had a date at the restaurant that she wanted. A classy and overly expensive seafood restaurant. My bank account is screaming for it’s dear life.
What I thought that my relationship with Giselle will continue after that kinda awkward first date. I WAS WRONG.
Do you have plans this weekend? I just got a two tickets to the Universal Studios from my friend.
Let’s stop seeing each other, Mark.
Wait
What?
You serious?
Yes.
I’m seriously wanted to break up with you.
I’m in a date with someone’s better than you.
We clearly don’t vibe at all
You and your cheap suit
I was trying my best to give you a chance but I don’t see a reason for me through.
I’ll block your number and act all of this never ever happened.
“Ouch. You don’t have to hurt my feelings like that.”
“It’s your fault anyways. You see a hot woman, you’ll go googoo gaagaa. Men are pathetic.” Winter starts walking ahead.
“It’s same thing about women. You girls see a muscular… sweaty men, panties already dropped on the ankles.” I laughed. She gave me a side-eye.
“Eww… For the record. I do NOT like buffed men, let alone a sweaty one. Ugh! It disgusts me.”
Then she went back smiling and giggling at something on her phone. This girl is total bipolar.
