Harder than Quitting Nicotine, is Quitting You.
Welcome to dimp1ez’s mini Mandarin Classroom!
戒 (jiè) in Mandarin can have a variety of meanings.
As a verb, it means “to quit” or “to stop a habit”. For example, quitting smoking.
As a noun, it means “the forbidden” or “the taboos”. For example, cheating.
As a noun, it also means “rings”, for example, the engagement ring sitting on Sullyoon’s finger.
And that’s basically everything in this fic. Broken souls reunite, that’s when boundary blurs.
