“In the 8th place is… Sakamoto Mashiro, congratulation to her as she is the first from the J-group to debut in Kep1er. Please let us congratulate Mashiro as she comes up on stage for her winning address, Mashiro please.” As Yeo Jin Goo announced Mashiro debuting with Kep1er, Mashiro was stunned and started tearing up as she head toward the podium to her place in the debuting seat.

Seeing Mashiro walk up the podium knowing that your best friend has finally reached her dreams and she is debuting after 3 month of hardwork in Girl’s planet you couldn’t help but to jump up in celebration as Mashiro’s biggest supporter. From when the two of you were kids, you and Mashiro were basically attached in the hips as wherever one of you were the other wouldn’t be faraway. This because both of your parents are close to each other this translated to you and Mashiro has spent lot of time together from childhood even when the two of you were in school, you guys were in the same class and were always paired together.

You always knew Mashiro wanted to be an idol as when you two were in school she was captivated by twice a lot and that she has practiced hard to try to become trainee. One day when you were preparing for school, Mashiro came to your house with the widest grin you have ever seen on her face. With the widest smile on Mashiro’s face, she joyfully told you that she had been accepted by JYP entertainment to be a trainee and hearing that you were certainly happy for your best friends as you pulled her for a hug.

During the hug you couldn’t help to tear up as on one hand you were for Mashiro that she was one step closer to her dreams but on another you knew the reality of Mashiro being a trainee means that the two of you will eventually distance each other. Feeling your tears land on her shoulders, Mashiro look at you with concern eyes as she knew what you were thinking that you were worried for the future for the two of you. Seeing the tears falling from your eyes it also caused tears to start to fall on Mashiro’s beautiful face to although she do not say it but she do not want to lose you as a means for her to achieve her dreams.

Mashiro picked up all the courage she had in her as she took your hand and looked you in the eye with a gentle smile on her face thinking of a way to prevent the two of you from crying your eyes out. Mashiro being the more matured one gently said, “Come on oppa, it is not like I am going to disappear from your life all the way that you will never see me again you know? I know that being a trainee means we no longer right next to each other whenever we need it. But I promise you oppa that whenever you need I will be here for you, please take care of yourself when I am gone and please make sure that you don’t forget that you still got me with you even if I am not physically here. Come on let’s not think about this anymore and just enjoy whatever time we still have left?”

Seeing the gentle smile on Mashiro face and her soft words soothing your emotions you gave Mashiro a soft smile as you promised her on her request and continued to spend the day with her. As the days goes by, Mashiro leaving date was getting closer but the two of you did not let anytime you still had with each other go to waste as the two of you almost went out to different place everyday. During the outing it ranged from going to Namsam to watch the sunrise to spending hours at hangang with each other, all these little adventures have created memories for you and Mashiro that will hopefully tide the two of you for time being.

During these outings where you spent so much time with Mashiro and just her, you started to realised that maybe the one that you were always looking for was right in front all these time. As you always joke to Mashiro that you will die single and that you can’t find anyone for you, you realised that maybe Mashiro was the one that you waiting for all this time. But now that you know Mashiro is so close to achieve, you shouldn’t hinder her as you chose to hide this feeling down where you can be her greatest support that she will ever need. Although this was a painful move for you but you know as long as Mashiro is happy, you are a happy as you can never stand seeing Mashiro cry because of you and that you don’t want her to pick between you or her dreams. Therefore you chose to be the bigger person and let her free where you can protect her from anything life throws at her, as long as you are still in her life, you are already satisfied.

Soon the day for Mashiro to leave came as with tears flowing both your eyes, Mashiro gave you a hug and reminded you on your promise to her. With a sad smile on your face you told her that you will keep your promises to heart and that you want Mashiro to succeed but for Mashiro to not forget that if she was ever tired that you will always be here waiting for her. “Shiro-ah, don’t worry too much about me okay? I remember the promise I make to you that I will keep contact with you no matter how busy you are. I wish you nothing but the best of luck in this journey and that I hope for you to succeed just remember if you make it big I will always your biggest fan. Shiro-ah just remember if one day you are tired from whatever life is throwing at you please don’t bottle it up, I will be here always waiting for you.”

Hearing your words it brought Mashiro to tears as she pulled you into a tight hug, burying her face into your chest as Mashiro was saying how much she didn’t want to leave you. You returned the hug as you softly whispered into her ear telling her that it is going to be fine and that you will always support her. After that day, you and Mashiro still kept in close contact with almost weekly video calls to even still hanging out when she is free from training. Whenever you are out with her you will always be support for Mashiro where Mashiro can rant about anything and that you will be the listening and comfort that she needed.

When Mashiro told you that she was going to join Girl’s planet, you couldn’t help but to feel proud for her as you pulled her into hug and congratulating her, “Oh my god Shiro see I thought that you hardwork will pay off. Now you getting your big break to debut, don’t worry too much about it Shiro, you are a talented girl I believe everyone will see it. Also don’t forget you have me I will make sure that you will have my vote where I will always stack for you! So fighting and make us proud Shiro-ah.”

Seeing you so supportive of her, Mashiro felt very touched by your gesture as tears started to well in her eyes, she promised that she make the two of you very proud. That was the beginning for Mashiro’s Girl’s Planet adventure where she was working hard for the stage, you made sure to be her best supporter where you voted everyday and went to all of her performances to give her the support that she needed. Knowing that you are always supporting her it gave Mashiro the motivation she needed whenever things are not going on her way. On the day of the final, she gave the ticket to be there to watch her which you immediately agreed to Mashiro as you told Mashiro that there isn’t anything in this world that would stop you from seeing her.

Fast forward to where you saw Mashiro walking up the podium to her place, you couldn’t help to feel proud for Mashiro as she finally did it and that she stuck through to the promise that was made to you. Once after recording where Mashiro was walking out of recording studio after her maiden performance as a new member of Kep1er, you surprised her with flowers in your hand and a wide smile on your face. Mashiro spotted you she immediately ran together and hugged you tightly telling how she did it and that she is so happy to see you there supporting. Hearing Mashiro’s word, you teasingly flicked her head as you told Mashiro there is no way on this planet that you would miss her debut and make Mashiro sad that she can’t see her biggest fan.

Seeing you teasing her, Mashiro could not help but to pout at you that instantly caused you to melt as you see that cute expression from her, you pulled into a hug again reminding Mashiro how proud you are for her achievements. Once you two break from the hug, Mashiro pulled you to introduce yourself to her member where you greeted the other eight girls while also congratulating them on their achievements. Mashiro was talking about to the rest of her group this was where you decided to drop the shocking news to Mashiro that caused not only her but everyone to be stunned.

You held Mashiro by the shoulder and looked the girl in the eyes, you proclaimed with utter confidence, “Shiro I think I got something I forgot to tell you that I found a job and this job is going to make us see each other a lot from now onwards. Shiro-ah, I was just accepted by the company to be Kep1er’s new manager so from now we will be working with each other a lot and that I am assigned to stay with you guys. So yeah, Shiro when you said we spend a lot of time together before you became trainee guess what we going to spending more time together now as idol and manager.”

You dropped the bombshell of a news to Mashiro and the rest of Kep1er, it caused Mashiro to short circuit as she can’t believe that she going to see you everyday as you will be her manager. This caused Mashiro to blush as ever since the day you met Mashiro when the two of you were kids, Mashiro always felt something special for that could not be explained. Even when the two of you were separated due to Mashiro being a trainee whenever the two of you met there will be something warmth blooming inside Mashiro. Perhaps it was Mashiro having feelings for you as no matter what happened in life you were always there for her even in the darkest of night. But even Mashiro was not sure about that as maybe due to the amount of time that the two of you shared it could be the she is dependent on you as she kept her feelings to herself.

But knowing that you are going to be the manager of Kep1er Mashiro was at first stunned by the sudden news but afterwards it brought a smile onto her face as she knows that you sticking to your promise of being her greatest support. Mashiro with open arms pulled into a hug as she welcome you in joining her in this journey as you promised to always be by her side. But also the whole Kep1er were happy that at least they have someone their age to be their manager and since you were close to Mashiro, they believe you can be trusted too.

Based on your interaction with Mashiro and how Mashiro vouched for you basically being a golden retriever that can fend off stalkers and a jack of all trade that can make life easy for them. Hearing how Mashiro was glazing you, your face started to warm up into a shade of red as you were surprised that Mashiro held you in such a high regard that internally you were determined to not make Mashiro disappointed in you. Seeing your face, the group of girls couldn’t help but to tease you where Mashiro defended you and end up also got teased by them resulting in Mashiro also blushing. As the two of your face heating up under the constant teasing of the newly formed Kep1er, Mashiro immediately took your hand earning coos from the group as she dragged you out of the place.

Mashiro dragged you out of the stadium, Mashiro brought you to bampo hangang park where you two spent a large portion of your time whenever any of you were down. The two of you were walking down the park you turned to look at Mashiro as under the starry night and surrounding lightshow it painted an image that you will never forget. As the lights falls onto the background of Mashiro it caused Mashiro to look like the brightest star in the darkest night. Seeing this image in front of you, it gave you the last confirmation of the feeling that you have held for so long that is Mashiro was the right one that you have been waiting for.

With all the courage you muster out, you held both of Mashiro’s hand as you took a deep breath in and softly looked into her eyes prepared to confess your feelings to her, “Shiro-ah, what do you think of us like do you thinkn there is something more than being good friends?”

“Hmm what do you mean oppa? I think we are the closest in this world where we can predict each others thoughts without even needing to saying, of course I think there is a special bond between us.”

“Because Shiro-ah I am going to be honest with you, lets look at the stars you see those two stars that are right next to each other?” as you point towards the sky where there was 2 brightly shining stars in the sky almost beside each other.

“It is like my feelings towards you Shiro-ah, see how one of them is shining brighter than the other yet they are so close to each other. It is like what we are right now, look at you are debuting as an idol shining bright on the stage while I will support you from the back. But can I be greedy for once Shiro? Shiro I like you a lot ever since we were kids I always had feeling for you when the day that you left, I wanted to ask you to stay but I realised I can’t be so selfish. When you weren’t beside me you know it felt like there was something missing from my life that was where I knew that you were the one that is always in my life. So Shiro-ah I know it is crazy but would you give me a chance?” As you gently confessed your feelings to Mashiro, you did not expect hot tears started to flow down your face.

Mashiro heard your confession it caught her off guard as for the longest of time, Mashiro thought that you were just treating her like a sister that is why you are so gentle with her and that it was only an one-sided love from Mashiro to you. Mashiro processed finished what you confessed to her from shocked, it turned into something else like relief that finally this is no longer a burden that she had to carry by herself. Mashiro finally knows that you also feel the same for her, tears started to flow down from Mashiro’s beautiful face as she also confessed that she liked you for a long time.

At this moment you pulled Mashiro into a tight hug while feeling her tears falling onto your shoulder you pat her back telling her how you are so happy and that you were always thinking about her. Now both of you have each other you two know that this journey would no longer be lonely as at least she have you while you have her along your side. You and Mashiro locked eyes with each other there was a hidden force that pushed both of you to one another as you two were locked into a passionate kiss. In this kiss all the hidden feelings that the two of carried were instantly released as you feel the passion that the two of you had for one another over all this time.

By the time when the two of you broke the kiss for air there was tint of red on both your faces as you two couldn’t help but to share a laugh about how the two of you took so long to notice each other. You took Mashiro hand while walking back to the place where Kep1er, there nothing but pure joy on both of your faces as the two of you were enjoying each other’s company and for the future of working with each other. When the two of you met up with the rest of Kep1er with hands interlocked with each other, it caused to girls to scream as they did not expect how things to progress so fast. But seeing how happy was Mashiro when she is with you as compared during the times in Girl’s Planet, the girls were happy that Mashiro had found someone that could take care of her and make her happy.

However a part of the girls were concern that since you are their manager, it might make things difficult for them especially since Mashiro was dating you, they worry that things may not be professional. Seeing the concern of the group you promised that although your relationship with Mashiro was something that cannot be changed but you will be fair to them and treat each person like family. Hearing your assurance to them, it caused the girls to have sense of comfort and relief that no matter what happens they will have you to be their support.

Afterwards management came to the group and started to introduce the girls to their management and giving them the brief of what Kep1er is going to be to officially start the debut of Kep1er where they will be starting to prepare for their debut stage. As the senior manager introduced you the group as their fulltime manager, the girls couldn’t stop laughing as you formally introduced yourself to them. Just moments ago, you met them as Mashiro’s boyfriend but now you are professionally introducing yourself as their manager this caused everyone who know to laugh as an inside joke.

This meant it was the start of a new adventure for you and Kep1er as you will be their greatest support for them to shine on stage but it also a new chapter for you and Mashiro as for the two of you progressing into a new stage of your relationship.
