2. Having Moral Superiority Complexes

1. Selective Trust Issue

The best way I can describe this is like this:

FMC: I know this guy has stood by my side and has defended me for the past 50 chapters, and has been a real gentleman and a great Male Lead. But can I really trust him?

Now listen, Liene is not wrong for having trust issues and doubts about Tiwakan (Male Lead). This man invaded her kingdom, “killed” her fiancé (who ended up being alive the whole time), just so he could marry her (court her like a normal person, you savage.)

She had to fake a pregnancy in hopes that he wouldn’t marry her just coz she’s supposedly carrying another man’s kid, but this guy was like: it don’t matter. I can raise this kid as my own. Now, how many people should we invite to our wedding?

That’s all valid, and I don’t blame her.

But tell me WHY, is this WOMAN SHE’S FRENCH KISSING THE MAN SHE’S CONTINUOUSLY DOUBTING?! WHY?

Like, one moment, she’s having steamy, spicy kiss scenes with this dude and is having the unholiest of thoughts about what she wants this guy to do to her. And the next, when something suspicious that’s linked to Tiwakan pops up, she’s like: Should I trust him?

Every. Single. Time.

Sweetie, if you’ve been French kissing this man, making wedding plans with this man, getting close and vulnerable with this man, and being upfront and public that this man is your man, then you trust him to some extent.

And you’re the last person to be talking about trust. 49 chapters in and you STILL haven’t told him that yo ass ain’t pregnant.

If this is the author’s attempt at trying to make their Male Leads “mysterious” or to make a slow burn, then they are doing a poor job, and I demand a refund on my investment, please and thank you.
