Authour’s POV
Half a month went by. Chaewon started to work as a delivery person while trying to find a place to stay. As for Y/N, he still ran the cafe but would always still think about Chaewon. It was a Monday and the cafe was closed. Y/N was home alone and planned to get food.
Y/N’s POV
It was 6pm and I had just finished a run. Once I was in the house, I went straight to the kitchen to check if there was anything I could cook up. I looked around and realized I did not buy any food to keep. I sighed and decided that it was time to call for a food delivery. I opened the food delivery app and started to look for food to pick.
“Should I have kimchi fried rice today?” I thought to myself.
I just searched and ordered it. The wait was thirty minutes and I decided to go for a shower first. Before I could do that, I received a call. Looking at my phone, I saw the name and it was Grandma. Receiving a call from her surprised me as I quickly answered it.
“Grandma?” I answered.
“Hey Grandson! How have you been?” Grandma asked.
“Good! I’m sorry if I didn’t call to check on you,” I answered back.
Grandma chuckled, telling me that I should find time to come visit her. I agreed but then Grandma asked if I had any plans for the upcoming weekend. I checked the calendar in the living room and just told her I had no plans except to run the cafe.
“Great! I’d like to swing by. Also, I insist on seeing you bring a girlfriend. I know you are dating someone right now!” Grandma hung the call.
I was stunned, unable to say anything once Grandma hung the call. I was not sure what to even say or think as I just headed to wash up.
Authour’s POV
Meanwhile…
Chaewon’s POV
I just finished another delivery and sat at one of the nearby convenience stores to have a break. It had been half a month since I left Jay-nim and Joey-nim’s home. I did receive the money from staying with them for that first month but I still wanted more. I sighed and ate my bread until my phone lighted to inform me that there was another delivery.
“Great! More money!” I said to myself, quickly finishing my bread.
I checked the delivery on how far the delivery location was which surprised me.
“No way! It’s just around the corner! This is easy money,” I chuckled.
I headed over to the restaurant to wait for the order to be ready. The restaurant owner recognised me since I have been frequently helping them do the delivery of their food. I sat at the restaurant and waited. The owner then came forward and handed me a cup of water.
“You’ve worked too hard Chaewon-nim,” The owner said.
“Well. I need the money so I am working my best!” I said, chuckling.
The owner chuckled as I drank the water and the owner handed me the order. I smiled and left the restaurant and headed to the address. I was surprised that the address was just right across the road which meant I could earn a quick buck. I quickly made my walk across the street and to the address.
Y/N’s POV
After I finished washing up, I checked my phone’s delivery app to see if it was picked up. Seeing that it was still cooking, I walked to the living room and turned on youtube on the TV. I then played a song that came into my mind.
