“Ohaiyo Gozaimasu, watashi wa Hirai Momo desu, or should I say, my name is Hirai Momo, very pleased to meet you!” The woman bows down.
“Whoa, who is she?”
“I’ve never seen her before?”
“She’s Japanese? Like us?” Sana and Mina talk to each other
“Let me introduce to you, everyone, this is Hirai Momo, one of the best and extra talented designers in the field of concept designs, and a long-time friend of mine as well back in Uni days.” Jeongyeon introduces Momo to everyone
“Hisashiburi, Jeongyeon!” Momo waves to her while approaching
“Oh, helloooo!!!!!! I heard about you from Jeongie here!!” Nayeon bows to say hi
“Ohaiyo, Nayeon-san!” Momo bows down.
“Welcome to our studio, Momo-san. We’re very pleased to have you here today.” Jihyo bows down to Momo, making the staff surprised.
“Ohaiyo, Jihyo-san! Thanks for welcoming me here!”
“Everyone, I want to make an announcement: from today on, starting with this project, Momo-san will be a new member of our studio as an art director who will help me to oversee the designs of this entire project. Manager Yoo will still be working with us, but from now on, with Momo-san's incredibly talented skill set, I hope our studio can achieve greater outcomes. Please give your full respects to Momo-san as you did to me as your superior, as she will act as an important figure for the studio as well. Let’s give Momo-san a warm welcome.” Jihyo announces her new direction
“WELCOME TO OUR STUDIO, MOMO-SAN!!” Everyone bows in unison.
“Arigatou gozaimasu, everyone. I hope I will be able to give you the best of my skill sets and experiences. I’m quite new in this part of the design industries, so hopefully I can also learn from you all as well. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu!” Momo respectfully bows down 90 degrees.
“Minari ... I think Momo-san was our senior back in high school!” Sana tells Mina
“Hontoni??? That’s her?” Mina surprises
“Wait, you two know her???” Archie asks
“Well, we knew about her back then; she was quite a person back then!”
“All we knew of her is she’s fucking great with her work, dude, like seriously, she’s another level.” Peter replies.
“Yeh, she worked for that game Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding, and many more; she’s crazy fucking good, dude,” Aaron adds in
“Archie, Peter, Aaron,” Jihyo calls the trio
“Yes, Boss!!”
“Momo-san, from now on, she will be your team leader; everything you do will have to go through her approval first before sending it to me. I think this will be very beneficial for you three as well, so I hope you will follow her directions as you followed mine.” Jihyo talks to the trio
“Yes, Boss!! Momo-san, welcome to our team!” the trio bow to Momo
“Ohaiyo, you three must be the illustrators/designers of the studio, right? Please to work with you all, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!” Momo bows back.
“Ok everyone, that’s all for the meeting; please proceed with the preparation for the event starting from tomorrow. Thank you.”
“THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, BOSS! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, MISS NAYEON, MANAGER YOO, AND SECRETARY KIM! WELCOME TO OUR STUDIO, MOMO-SAN!” everyone in unison
As everyone leaving the room, Momo then approaches Sana and Mina
“Sana-chan, Mina-chan, do you remember me? Hisashiburi!”
“Momo-sempai!!!!! SO glad to see you here!” Sana and Mina greet her
“Me as well! It's been a long time since then, huh? Can’t believe you two are here too! We need to catch up! You’re free tonight?”
“Haiiii, Sempaiiiii!!!!”
“So, you three, how should I call you by name?”
“Aaron, Archie, and Peter—those are our names, Momo-san!”
“Cool! See you tomorrow after the lunch break. I’m still in my part-time contract, so update me with the work, okay?
“Yes, Momo-san!”
“Byeeeeeee, everyone!! See you tomorrow!! Momo-san, we should hang out more too!!!”
“Hai, Nayeon-san, we will! And Jeong, we should catch up too!”
“Yeh, yeh, I know, Momo. See you soon.”
The next day …
12pm
“Ohaiyo, you three!”
“Momo-san!! Ohaiyo!”
“Sooo, let’s see your works then. I want to see your skills first before assigning tasks for you. Will that do?”
“Oh yes, Momo-san, you’re our team leader; of course we’ll have to prove it to you!”
“Seriously Momo-san, it’s really an honor for us nerds to be under your wings.”
