A clear blue sky and a white snowy ground, the autumn leaves replaced by white snow. The cold winds finally made their presence known indicating that Fall has ended and Winter is right around the corner.
"Brrr... So cold..."
Minju rubbed her hands to somewhat generate heat in her hands while she puffs, causing a visible fog to form, clearly showing the cold weather she and other people are enduring right now. Now that winter has begun anew... Kim Minju... recently got a boyfriend.
"Minju, Good morning."
Her friend Yuri greeted her, which Minju reciprocates by greeting her too.
"Apparently, we have a maths quiz today."
The duo chatted while fixing their things on their respective lockers.
"What? Seriously, I haven't studied."
Minju was distraught by the sudden news of a quiz, especially a maths quiz. The duo continued on with their discussion at the lockers, and so did the students in the same place.
While I, Kim Minju, recently got a boyfriend... Something has been bothering me....
"Minju-sii"
A deep voice called out to her, a voice she fully knows who it belongs to.
"Good morning."
Y/n would greet her while also smiling brightly.
"Morning."
Minju turned her head around to face Y/n as she greeted her. A few seconds would pass with Y/n just staring at the now puzzled Minju.
"W-what?"
Minju questioned, which has been a common occurrence between them.
"You have a different hair style today."
Y/n pointed out, prompting Minju to look at her new hairstyle which she just tried out recently.
'Ah, he noticed..'
"It's different from usual and it's pretty."
Minju stared at Y/n for a second, acting all grumpy as she grumbled before turning her head away from his direction.
"Urgh... How can you say things like that and not get embarrassed at all.."
Her whining and grumbling were all however just an act to hide the impending flushness of red that's slowly covering her face. Y/n, however, was not buying her act.
"I really thought you were pretty, So it's not a lie."
With a simple sentence, Minju's act quickly crumbled into nothing. The redness of her face was clearly visible, while she stood there speechless. Y/n's straightforwardness really works wonders when it comes to catching Minju off guard.
'ᴬᵍᵃᶦⁿ ᵇʳᵘʰ...''ᴺᵒʳᵐᶦᵉˢ...''ᴵᵗ'ˢ ˢᵗᶦˡˡ ᵐᵒʳⁿᶦⁿᵍ, ᵃⁿᵈ ᵗʰᵉʸ'ʳᵉ ˢᵒ ˡᵒᵛᵉʸ ᵈᵒᵛᵉʸ...'
The countless whispers seem to knock Minju back into reality, as it soon occurred to her that she and Y/n are still in the lockers. Which means almost every student saw them being all chummy.
"Minju-ssi? Your face is re-"
Minju quickly covered Y/n's mouth.
"Hey..."
"That's enough!! Please stop talking!!"
Minju cried out, obviously flustered and embarrassed by what's happening to her.
.
.
.
This guy, Y/n L/n, is my boyfriend.
"Urgh... It's still morning and I'm already tired.."
Minju haggardly said as she sat on her desk while resting her head on her arm.
"Y/n is as passionate as always!"
Her friend, Yuri said while giggling.
"Oh my gosh. I can't believe he did that in public."
Minju buried her head into the comfort of her arms as she recalled the events earlier in the locker room, which gave her another second hand embarrassment.
"Really?"
Yuri questioned while glancing in Y/n's direction, who seems to be busy helping another classmate with their homework.
"He's hardworking and smart. He seems cool but also sweet and passionate about the person he likes. That's great, you are beloved. What's bothering you?"
Yuri questioned Minju. Which prompted the girl to lift her head from her arms.
"...I mean."
"I feel embarrassed!"
"Cause the guys that I've dated never told me how they feel about me. I'm not used to it!!"
Minju would once again grumble about her predicament. It was true after all, her past ex were all douchebags who never really acted how Y/n is acting right now and It's something that Minju isn't used to.
"Well you never had luck with guys..."
Yuri rebutted, causing Minju to shoot a playful girl into the hamster.
