Author's note

Whelp this was definitely something new for me. In terms of struture (I didn’t use dialogue - I wanted the last and only line of dialogue to be significant - and this chapter was in third-person, something I don’t do often), but also in terms of content. I wanted to tell a revenge story, and as much as I thought I could pussyfoot around it I realized early on there was no avoiding the violence. So this is far and away the most violent thing I’ve ever written, and I hope no one thinks it’s overly gratuitous or anything. It’s the first time I had to use all the content warning labels, lol. As stated this series started as a prequel to Black Silk but this Taeyeon (and the tone of the story) is so far removed from her character in Black Silk that she may as well be a different person altogether. So the link is there, although it’s not a particularly strong one anymore, lol. Hope you all enjoyed it.
