The confession

The memory of your outing with Yooyeon just felt so fresh as if it just happened minutes ago even though it has been a week already as you scrolling social media you spotted an article of someone oddly familiar. As you were scrolling through your instagram you saw an article with a blurry picture of Yooyeon and you at Namsan titled “TripleS Yooyeon spotted on a date with outsider who is this guy?”. While reading the article your eyes widen and your mind is blown above the roof as you would never thought the girl who you spent nights talking to, whom rant her problems to you and lastly made you feel like you are never alone is an idol. The feelings in your head was shock but it slowly turned to betrayed as you could not understand why Yooyeon did not tell you, do she not trust you do she think you will use her? As all of these question was flowing through your head, your phone ring seeing that it was a text from Yooyeon you felt very conflicted on replying her.

In the cookie haus where Yooyeon is sitting on the couch out of the sudden Sohyun came in running to Yooyeon with a look of panic shoving the screen of her phone to Yooyeon, feeling puzzled Yooyeon looked at the screen and read the article. As Yooyeon was reading the article her eyes widen in panic as she worry if you read the article and if you did what you would think of her hiding the truth of her identity. In a panic she immediately texted you to check on you when she sent the message seeing that you saw her message but not replying her. Tears started to fall down on her beautiful face as Yooyeon as she blames herself for ruining the relationship between the two of you and that she has lost the person who gave her the warmth and place for her to be just Yooyeon not the tripleS Yooyeon everyone expects. Seeing Yooyeon crying Sohyun immediately hugged the crying girl this attracted the attention of the rest in the dorm once they know about what happened all of them decided to console Yooyeon assuring her that it will be okay and that to believe in you. But all Yooyeon could say was “It was my fault I should have not hid it away from him, I lost him now, it is all my fault.” As Yooyeon was constantly whispering to herself, Sohyun consoled her telling her that, “Unnie you did what you thought was the best for the two of you please stop blaming yourself.”

The girls managed to calm Yooyeon down and led her to her room to rest for a bit, they were in the living room discussing on how they can help Yooyeon in this situation. This was where Chaeyeon suggested, “Why not we try to contact him explain what happened and try bring the two together again?” as they heard Chaeyeon suggestion they agreed with her view. Hence the girls were set on the mission of bringing you and Yooyeon back together again, it started off with Sohyun going to Yooyeon phone finding your contact while she was sleeping after her breakdown. When they managed to obtain your kakao contact, the girls sat around the table looking at Chaeyeon’s phone as they dial the call button hoping that you would answer the call, giving the two of you a chance as the call was ringing they heard your voice with they immediately answered back.

With the ring on your phone from an unknown number, you were puzzled as you were still new here so there are not many people whom have your contact hence you accepted the call as the second you answered voices of many girls flooded your ears. “Hi I am Chaeyeon, I am Yooyeon’s dorm mate and I guessed you have seen the article we are from TripleS, I know that you are feeling disappointed in Yooyeon from hiding the truth. But please can you help us to talk to her, ever since the article came out Yooyeon has no stopped crying as she is feel like it is her fault. She thinks that you are ignoring her as you are leaving her although we stay with her day to day but we all can see that when Yooyeon is with you she is happiest, so please come and see her at the dorm at least give you two the chance to talk it out.” After hearing Chaeyeon out, you remained quiet this caused the girls to all fall into a panic as they felt like they failed. As a last shot pled to you Chaeyeon gave you the address of their dorm and didn’t push anymore just hope that you can think this through and ended the call, the girls were hoping that giving you the address can show that they trust you and care for their unnie hoping that you will come to Yooyeon.

During the call all you could do was to remain silent as you could not think of anything you could say as you were listening to Chaeyeon hearing how Yooyeon was doing after the article got released. This caused your heart to sink as although you were disappointed in Yooyeon for hiding her identity but you believed she had her reason, knowing that she is not coping you felt like you are the one causing her to be in this state. When Chaeyeon gave you address of the cookie haus, you hesitated on whether you should go find Yooyeon. As deep down in your heart knowing that Yooyeon needs someone to be there for her, while thinking you thought of your short but memorable times with Yooyeon from the day you arrived in korea. It helped you to made up your mind, you grabbed bag and rushed to find Yooyeon at the cookie haus to tell her what you have been hiding deep down in your heart that you love her even when she hid the truth from you.

When you rushed to the front of the cookie haus, you were panting as you have never ran so fast in your life but to see Yooyeon to you it was worth it. When you knocked the door, Sohyun and Yeonji opened door and ushered you in as they recognised you from Yooyeon, when you entered the cookie haus all the girls eyes landed on you as they were pointing to Yooyeon room telling you go in and talk to her. As you walked to Yooyeon’s room you picked up all the courage you muster as you knock on her door, hearing Yooyeon’s soft voice saying to leave her alone made your heart sunk all the way as you opened the door and seeing her pulling the blanket over her head to hide her face. You walked to her bedside kneeling down softly calling her name, “Yooyeon-ah, it is me I came to see you, I am so sorry for ignoring I was just shocked on everything that happening but then I realised one thing Yooyeon that I love you Yooyeon. Not the idol Yooyeon not the perfect girl that everyone expects but you the girl who is willing to help a new guy around his way, the girl who showed me who I want to spend my time with, whom never make me feel alone in this foreign place. You are the person I that I want to spend my life with. Yooyeon please just look at me please.” With your confession you could feel the tears dripping down your eyes looking at her hoping that she would give you a reply.

Yooyeon hearing your confession also started tearing up in her blanket as you said confession, she came out of blanket and pulled you into a deep kiss. The kiss caught you off guard as your eyes widen by her action but in no time you followed her kiss as if the kiss was her reply to you. With tears still flowing down her face but this time with a smile Yooyeon replied your confession with her own, “I am sorry for hiding my identity from you I was afraid that you would treat me differently if you knew. But after spending so much time with you, I know that I love you that with you it feels like I am home that I can be myself. I want to spend forever with you. So what should do now boyfriend?” Hearing her confession it brought a smile to your face too as the two of you held hands and walked toward the living room. Where the girls all saw that you two entering while holding hands, they all were smiling as Yooyeon has found someone she love but they also warned you that you have to treat Yooyeon like a princess and if you ever make her cry again they will all hunt you down for that you assured them that you will be the best for Yooyeon and be there for her.

With you and Yooyeon walking down the park near the cookie haus, Yooyeon asked where should your official date be, you turned toward her as in that moment it felt like she was a princess waiting for her castle which you suggested why not going to Gyeongbokgung palace since she is your princess. With that she agreed and said that you have to get her the most beautiful hanbok that you find while you are her royal knight with that scene in your mind, it cause the two of you to laugh while you snuck a quick peck on her lips as the two of you continue strolling down the park happy to find each other.
