Sitting around the dinner table filled with food, everyone, including Na PD-nim, waits for Jin-woo to finish preparing the last dish. The room is quiet until Jin-woo finally arrives, carrying the last plate of sausages. With this, the full English breakfast is complete: sausages, eggs, toast, bacon, pan-seared tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, and, of course, blood pudding. Placing the plate down, he takes his seat between Eunchae and Yujin before signaling for everyone to eat.
Without hesitation, everyone starts filling their plates with food. Jin-woo has made enough for the entire group, including the staff filming them. As he reaches for a piece of blood pudding, he places one onto Eunchae’s plate. She stares at it, confused.
“It’s blood pudding. Try it, you might like it,” he says with a small mischievous smile before adding another piece to Yujin’s plate.
Taking a small bite, Eunchae nods, seemingly enjoying it. “Why is it called blood pudding?” Yujin asks as she takes her first bite.
Jin-woo grins. “Because it’s made out of pig’s blood and fat.”
Both Eunchae and Yujin freeze mid-chew. Their faces scrunch up in horror as they stare at their half-eaten pieces.
The rest of the table bursts into laughter. “Hah! I can’t believe you guys didn’t know what blood pudding was. It’s literally in the name,” Jin-woo teases, clearly amused. Most of the others have wisely avoided it, already knowing what it is.
“Ya, oppa! How could you do this to me?” Eunchae shouts, continuously smacking his arm.
“You’re sleeping on the floor tonight,” Yujin adds dryly before continuing with her breakfast.
Na PD-nim clears his throat, shifting the conversation. “Alright, everyone. As we eat, let’s go over our last day in Madrid. I want to review today’s itinerary and the final performance. After breakfast, Jin-woo, Yujin, and Eunchae will go grocery shopping, while the rest of us will be at the restaurant prepping for the evening performance and making sure everything is ready for the lottery draw. Yumi and Eunseo will handle announcing the winners, Woo-shik and Seojoon will MC again, and Seojin…” He pauses, grinning. “You’ll be giving an opening speech.”
Seojin’s face twists in shock. “What? Since when?”
“You’re the boss,” Na PD-nim says matter-of-factly. “It’s the final season, so you have to say something to wrap things up.”
“Aish, you should’ve told me earlier! I need time to prepare,” Seojin grumbles, unamused by yet another one of Na PD-nim’s surprises.
Na PD-nim simply smiles. “That wouldn’t be fun, would it?”
Shaking his head, he moves on. “Anyway, are you guys ready for the performance? Do you need any last-minute changes or equipment?”
BM nods, confidence tinged with a bit of worry. “I’m set for my solo, but I’m a little nervous about our group performance. It’s our first time performing a song together.”
“I think we’ll be fine as long as we hit our notes and transition smoothly between parts,” Yujin says, glancing at Na PD-nim.
“The audience is going to love it,” Eunchae adds.
Jin-woo smirks. “They’re in for a surprise, that’s for sure.” He casually picks up another piece of blood pudding and stuffs it into his mouth. Yujin watches in disgust, while he meets her gaze with an innocent smile.
Seojoon looks over. “So, we’re opening with BM, then Eunchae, Yujin, Jin-woo, and finally the group performance?”
“Yes… but not exactly,” Na PD-nim replies. “Instead of jumping straight into the final group performance after Yujin’s solo, Jin-woo messaged me last night about adding a duet with Yujin before the finale. Only the sound guy knows what they’re planning.”
Everyone immediately turns to the two of them.
Jin-woo winks. “You’ll just have to wait and see.”
“All I’ll say is that it’s a two-part performance,” Yujin adds with a knowing smile.
Woo-shik raises an eyebrow. “When did you two plan this?”
“Last night,” Jin-woo says, leaning back in his chair. “We were watching The Judge from Hell. Eunchae fell asleep, and we talked about it.”
Eunchae, still chewing on her toast, frowns. “Wait… so you two were scheming while I was asleep?”
“It wasn’t scheming, it was brainstorming,” Jin-woo corrects with a grin.
Yujin nods. “Yeah, totally different things.”
Eunchae narrows her eyes. “You’re both suspicious.”
Jin-woo laughs, finishing off his last piece of toast. “Alright, we should finish eating. We still need to get groceries, and if we don’t leave soon, we won’t make it back in time to help prep the food before the restaurant opens.”
Yujin sighs, poking at the last of her eggs. “Ugh, grocery shopping this early…”
“You’d rather stay behind and do all the food prep?” Jin-woo teases.
Yujin glares at him before shoving the last bite of toast into her mouth. “Let’s just eat and get it over with.”
Eunchae, stuffing a piece of bacon into her mouth, nods. “At least we get to walk around a bit before being stuck in the restaurant all day.”
Jin-woo smirks, reaching for another sausage. “That’s the spirit.” He turns away and walks towards the door with the car keys in one hand and the sausage in the other.
Whipping their mouths with a napkin they quickly brought their plates to the sink before joining Jin-woo to the door.
Putting her shoes on, she looks at Jin-woo who is standing by the doors twirling the car keys. “Hey, can you let me drive to the restaurant?” ask Yujin wanting to drive the car.
“You don’t have a IDP do you?” asks Jin-woo
“no.” mumbles Yujin
“That’s your answer.” Said Jin-woo with a smile. “I’ll let you drive once you get your IDP for our next trip.”
“Next trip?” questions Yujin as they leave the house to the car.
Unlocking the car, they enter the car with Jin-woo and press the start button to start. “Well, this won’t be the only time we’ll visit another country. I plan to visit the world.” Explain Jin-woo
“Uh huh, and you’re assuming that I’ll go with you huh” questions Yujin staring at Jin-woo as she puts on her seatbelt.
“Of course, why not? It’s not like your tours will let you visit everywhere, let alone spend more than a day in one place,” Jin-woo says.
“How about me? It’s like you forgot I exist, oppa!” Eunchae whines from the backseat.
Jin-woo chuckles. “Aegi, aegi, don’t worry about it. You’ll come with us too—except for our honeymoon, of course, ow!” He yelps as Yujin elbows him. “Rude.”
“Hurry up and drive,” Yujin says with a smirk. Then, turning to look at Eunchae in the backseat, she reassures her, “Don’t worry, you’ll come with us. I’ll make sure of it. We won’t go without you.”
“Hmph, you better. I want to visit every country,” Eunchae huffs before leaning back into her seat, staring out the window as the car pulls out of the driveway.
“You didn’t deny the honeymoon.” Says Eunchae with a smirk
“Ya Eunchae!” screams Yujin which mellows out by Eunchae and Jin-woo’s laugh.
Arriving at the Supermarket
Pushing the cart down the aisle, Jin-woo watches as Eunchae and Yujin scan the shelves, their eyes darting from one item to the next. Without hesitation, they grab anything that catches their attention, fish crackers, chips, jerky, buns. Everything they didn’t need, they tossed into the cart.
Jin-woo sighs, coming to a stop. “Ya, can you focus? We need to get the ingredients for the restaurant, not stock up on snacks like we’re moving into a dorm.”
Eunchae pouts, hugging a bag of honey butter chips. “But we need this.”
“No, you don’t.” Jin-woo plucks the bag from her arms and tosses it back onto the shelf.
Yujin crosses her arms. “Fine, then what do we need?”
Jin-woo exhales, gripping the cart handle. “We need meat first, beef, chicken, and pork.”
Eunchae’s eyes widened. “That’s a lot of meat.”
“Because we’re running a KBBQ restaurant, you’re a waiter, how have you not realized that,” Jin-woo points out before continuing. “We also need seafood, salmon, shrimp, clams, scallops… to name a few.”
Yujin sighs dramatically. “Ugh, so basically, actual groceries.”
“Yes, actual groceries,” Jin-woo deadpans. “Not an entire aisle’s worth of junk food.”
“Jeez, what got you in such a mood. Normally you’re the one grabbing a bunch of candy.” Comments Yujin with a pout
“That’s because we have limited time before heading back to the restaurant, besides we will be too busy to finish those snacks and we’re leaving tomorrow.” Explains Jin-woo
Eunchae sulks, reluctantly putting back a pack of chocolate-covered almonds. “What a buzz kill. Fine. But can we at least get one snack?”
Jin-woo rolls his eyes. “One. Each. And that’s it.”
Yujin grins, grabbing a bag of gummies. “Deal.”
“You go decide what you want, while I buy the meat. Be quick.” Said Jin-woo, taking the cart towards the meat section.
Looking at the different meats on display, he gets the butcher’s attention. “I need pork belly, beef briskets, beef ribs, pork ribs, beef sirloin, beef tenderloin, chicken thighs.” Orders Jin-woo one by one, so the butcher remembers what to get.
Not much later, Yujin and Eunchae return with their chosen snacks, placing them in the cart while waiting for the meat to be prepared. Once finished, they head their way towards the seafood section where they order the products that they need. Placing the seafood into the cart, they went around the grocery store once to see if there’s anything else they need. Arriving at the cash register, the cashier starts scanning their items. Standing at the end of the checkout conveyor belt, Yujin leans against the handle of the cart waiting for the items to move towards her. Watching the product move, a familiar chilling sensation washed over her causing her to shrivel. Looking around the grocery, family and seniors are just walking around talking and picking out fruits, the occasional kids running around, but nothing out of the ordinary.
‘This feeling is the same as a couple days ago, but I don’t see anything. Maybe I’m just feeling things.’
Yujin tries to push these feelings down but to no avail, looking towards Jin-woo, meeting eye contact, she tries to convey the message.
Waiting to pay, Jin-woo notices the stare and understands what she’s trying to say. With his free hand, he motions her to calm down, signaling that nothing is going to happen. This relieves her a bit, allowing her to help Eunchae with the grocery.
“Unnie, what do you have planned after today when we get back to Korea?” ask Eunchae, as she places the big bag of pork belly in the cart.
Hands on her hips, Yujin takes a minute to think about the answer, going through her next schedule mentally before sighing. Looking at Eunchae in a tired expression, she says “Unfortunately or fortunately, I’ll be going on a ‘vacation’ with the girls, by vacation I mean going on a workcation, but before that I have a couple weeks of free time and dance practice with Jimin-unnie.”
“Jimin? Aespa Jimin?” ask Eunchae
“Yup.” Replies Yujin
Clearly intrigued, she leans forwards and asks “What are you practicing? Are you practicing for a performance? Jimin-unnie is SOOO pretty and nice.”
Raising her brows, she stares at Eunchae. “Are you saying she’s prettier than me huh?”
Caught off guard a bit, she stammers “N-no unnie, I’m just saying.”
“Yes, though I’d prefer Winter.” Says the passing voice of Jin-woo, putting the recipe into his wallet
Restaurant
Arriving at the restaurant, they exit the car and grab the grocery from the back into the restaurant. The others were already there cleaning and preparing the ingredients for the final day of Jinny’s Kitchen. Seojin looks up from the bar, seeing Jin-woo, Yujin and Eunchae bringing the groceries.
“Quickly bring it in, we don’t have much time before we open. Yujin, can you go in and help them, so it’ll be faster.”
Nodding their heads in agreement, they quickly went towards the kitchen and dropped off the ingredients before Jin-woo and Eunchae returned to the front to set up the chairs and make sure the grills were perfect.
Cleaning the tables, Jin-woo asks “Eunchae-ah what are you doing after this? Do you have any schedules?”
Taking a second to think, Eunchae replies “Hmm, I think I have some fashion event with MIMI but besides that I don’t think so. I know we have a comeback soon, but preparations won’t be until the end of the year. Why Oppa?” staring at Jin-woo
“Well, remember how I talked about an ‘Auntie’ before?” Eunchae nods remembering the conversation. “Yujin and I are planning to visit her soon and it’s time for them to meet you. Are you interested?”
“Of course I am, I can’t believe you waited for so long to bring to see this ‘Auntie’. I would’ve gotten another person to spoil me.” Said Eunchae cheerfully as she wipes the tables down.
“As if you aren’t spoiled already.” Comments Jin-woo with a small smile.
Working in silence, look up and down, feeling conflicted on whether or not to ask. Taking a deep breath, Eunchae hesitantly asks Jin-woo “Oppa, we should visit mom and dad soon.” The silence returns “Besides we’ll get to see Grandpa Yu, Dayun and Ijin! Wouldn’t that be great!”
Thinking for a bit, he turns towards Eunchae with a smile, although it was a genuine smile, it wasn’t as full as usual. “Yea sure! It’ll be great to see Grandpa Yu, Dayun and Ijin again after such a long time.”
Eunchae smiles widely before resuming her work wiping the tables, Jin-woo smile falters before a gleam shines through his eye before continuing his work.
Right before Jinny kitchen opens
Everyone is huddling together at the front peering through the glass door seeing the line of customers waiting for them to open. A long line that goes down the street filled with a diverse group of hungry customers waiting patiently to try their food or hoping to interact with their idols.
“Yah, this must be the longest line I’ve ever seen.” Says Yumi in awe. Compared to the trip to Iceland, this trip blows it in comparison.
“It means that we have to work even harder and faster. My arms have been numb from slicing all the cucumbers from day 1.” Complains Eunseo
“ Don’t worry unnie, You’re working out your arm, I can see it got bigger.” Comment Eunchae while flexing her arms, causing everyone to chuckle.
“Eunchae, it’s too tiring and painful. I’ll rather stick to my spaghetti arms.” Pouts Eunseo
“Alright, everyone, it's time to open up. Who wants to flip the sign?”
“Wait a minute.” Interrupts NA Pd-nim with a mischievous smile “since it’s the last day, I think we should get the owner of Jinny’s kitchen to say something before we start.”
“Yes Seojin-Hyung should give us a speech to increase our morale.” Says Woo-shik continuing misery on Seojin
Letting go a sigh, Seojin sees everyone looking at him in participation for his Grande speech.
“ok, Nayoung you really are the pain of existence. Well, as you guy know this is the last day of Jinny kitchen 3 and to the whole series. I’m grateful to have met each and every one of you, whether you were here in Youn’s kitchen or in this season of Jinny’s kitchen. I enjoyed my time filming this season with you all, so let’s make the most of it today and work our hardest for our customers.”
“Ah Seojin-Hyung, you made it sound like this will be the last time you see us.” Comments Jin-woo with a large smirk
Standing beside Jin-woo, with her signature smile Yujin continues “Don’t worry Seojin-samcheon, we will see each other again.”
“Yea, we can all hang out back in Korea if we have the time.” said BM
“Of course, or maybe we’ll get to film something else.” Said Eunseo
“haha, maybe we can also get Min-si and V Sunbae-nim to hang out. That's if you can handle us.” Grins Eunchae teeth showing fully, as everyone laughs. If you look closely you can see a small tear drop from Seojin’s eye.
“Ohhh is Seojin Hyung crying? Is that a tear I see?” says Woo-shik, crouching down a bit to check his eyes. This catches everyone’s attention as they stare at him.
“Aish, I’m not now, let's finish this so we can open the restaurant. If we don’t beat our highest by 3 times as much then you all are swimming home. Now fighting on 3.” Seojin commands sternly as he puts his hand in the middle.

FIGHTING
Eunchae flips the signs and opens up the restaurant door. They are all bombarded by customers standing in line, and the cheers of the fans in said line.
“Welcome to Jinny’s Kitchen, we are ready to serve ya.” Says Eunchae loudly receiving a few cheers from the fans. Patting her head, Jin-woo walks out and starts bringing in the first customers.
“Alright, please wait patiently as we bring you guys in. For those who are getting takeout please follow this beautiful lady here.” Pointing at Yujin beside him “If you are planning to dine in but we don’t have room, please come to this guy here who will give you a number for our waitlist.” Pointing towards BM.
“Thank you everyone for coming. Now let’s begin!” Says Jin-woo as he brings in the first customers to their table.
Slowly but surely the long single line became two shorter lines. The people who were busy or didn’t want to line up for too long went to Yujin to get takeout. Once the restaurant became full, BM started on the waitlist, so people didn’t have to keep lining up outside in the heat. Thus, the only people waiting were the ones who ordered takeout. With the lines gone, they can just focus on serving the customers inside and the waitlist.
“Take out for Jocelyn? Fried chicken and Beef platter?” announce Yujin
A young girl walks up, towards her with a nervous smile.
“Tha-That’s me. I’m Jocelyn.” Says the girl nervously looking everywhere but at Yujin. Yujin smiles at the girl, having a feeling that she is a fan.
“Do you want a photo along with your food?” smiles Yujin, as she hands her food over to her.
“YES! I mean Yes please.” Says Jocelyn as she frantically finds her phone. Looking behind her, Yujin makes eye contact with Jin-woo and calls him over.
“Really you’re making me a photographer to your fans.” Says Jin-woo with a shake of her head
“Shush you! Now take the photo. Make me look good.” Says Yujin as she poses with the fan.
Jin-woo takes the photo before handing back the phone to the fan.
“Thank you for your support, get home safe and enjoy the food.” Bows Yujin as the fans leave.
“Thank you for your support.” Mocks Jin-woo in reward he gets a pinch by Yujin.
“quiet down and get back to work. Don’t make me punish you.” Whisper Yujin
“Oh my my, is my puppy gonna punish me? Sounds kind of hot.” Laughs Jin-woo turning and walking away.
“I’ll show you hot, now get to work.” Says Yujin before going back to work, managing the orders.
Kitchen
In the kitchen, it’s filled with the sound of chopping, slicing, the sizzling sound of battered chicken being fried and discussion between cast members. Orders come in fast, and everyone is moving with purpose.
Yumi plates a dish of fried chicken and calls out, "Table six wants more salmon and extra garlic sauce. Woo-shik and Eunseo, that’s you two!"
"Nae Unnie!" Eunseo says, juggling a pair of tongs. "But someone, cough Woo-shik oppa cough, most of the garlic!"
"It’s not my fault!" Woo-shik replies while slicing some salmon. "Table twelve wanted marinated vampire-proof salmon. They asked for ‘enough garlic to scare off three generations of vampires!’"
Eunseo laughs as she arranges side dishes. "That’s what you get for being so easygoing to the customers, Woo-shik oppa."
"Focus, Romeo," Yumi says.
“Bibimbap for table six is ready!” Yumi says, sliding the bowl onto the pass. “Are the salmon and side dishes?”
“Already plated,” Eunseo says, putting the plates of side dishes onto the pass. “Sending it now!”
At the seafood station, Woo-shik triumphantly raises the plate of marinated salmon.
“Ladies and gentlemen,” he announces proudly, “Vampire proof salmon is served!”
“Please don’t jinx it,” Yumi mutters without looking.
As Woo-shik turns, plate in hand, his foot clips a mop handle sticking out from under the sink. His heel slips. The tray tilts.
Time slows.
“NOOOO” he shouts in slow-motion horror as the salmon lifts from the tray, mid-air, heading straight for the floor.
But before disaster can hit, Seojoon, calm, quiet, and suddenly ninja-fast reaches out from the meat station and snatches the falling plate with one hand.
Silence.
Even the sizzle of oil seems to pause.
“I... I had it under control,” Woo-shik says, still frozen in a half-fall.
“You were about to serve grilled salmon tartare,” Seojoon replies coolly, placing the tray gently back on the counter like nothing happened.
Eunseo bursts out laughing. “Daebak, that was the most dramatic save I’ve ever seen.”
“Seojoon-ah, do you have reflexes programmed into your DNA?” Yumi says, finally looking over.
“I played a lot of baseball in high school,” he says, flipping pork belly calmly. “Center field.”
Woo-shik slumps in relief. “You are an actual hero. I owe you a soju tower after shift.”
“You owe me clean plating,” Seojoon replies. “This skin’s a little uneven. Let’s fix it.”
“Yes, chef!” Woo-shik salutes, still recovering from the near-disaster.
As the team laughs and slides back into motion, the kitchen stays fast, loud, and alive. Mistakes happen—but with Seojoon on the team, they rarely hit the floor.
The bar
At the bar, Seojin wipes a sheen of condensation from the counter, barely keeping up with the demand. The blender roars to life, blending something neon and sweet, and the overhead lights bounce off rows of soju bottles lined up like soldiers. BM stands next to him, sleeves rolled up, shaking a cocktail shaker with the kind of intensity you'd expect from someone defusing a bomb.
"Hyung-nim," BM calls over the music and crowd noise, "I need the yuzu syrup, did we run out?"
"No, it’s behind the ginger beer. Don’t confuse it with the vinegar bottle again," Seojin mutters without looking up, as he pours three shots of soju in perfect rhythm.
"I did it once!" BM protests.
"Once was enough. You almost made soju vinaigrette."
BM rolls his eyes and grabs a bottle, pouring it confidently into the shaker.
Seojin glances up just in time to catch the label. His face twists. "Wait, Ya, That is the vinegar."
BM freezes mid-shake. The sound of ice cubes sloshing inside suddenly feels very dramatic. "You’re kidding."
"Nope."
BM stares at the bottle in his hand. "...Why is it next to the syrups?!"
"Why are you not checking labels like a grown adult?!"
Without a word, BM dumps the mixture into the sink. The sharp smell of vinegar hits the air and Seojin fans it away with a menu. "Great. Now the bar smells like salad."
BM groans and grabs the actual yuzu syrup this time. "Alright, alright, new round. What did table fourteen want again?"
"Something dangerous but fruity," Seojin says. He leans in and adds, “This time, with less acidity.”
In the background, a burst of sizzling erupts from the kitchen, a loud, aggressive SSSSHHHHH! followed by Woo-shik’s voice shouting, "IT’S FINE! IT’S JUST FLARE-UP!"
Seojin doesn't even flinch. "Sounds like Woo-shik’s messing up again."
"Thank god I’m not in the kitchen.” BM mutters, refilling the shaker and giving it another shake, this time, with proper ingredients.
With Jin-woo, Yujin and Eunchae
Yujin maneuvers through the packed dining room with a tray balanced effortlessly on one hand. Just as she places a bowl of bibimbap down at her table, a customer from across the room began waving frantically.
“Excuse me, miss! Excuse me!” the woman called out, her tone already laced with frustration.
Yujin glanced around quickly. Jin-woo was still setting up a table’s grill, and Eunchae was knee-deep in taking orders. With a quick breath and her best smile, Yujin called back, “I’ll be with you in just a moment!”
She hurried to deliver the last item on her tray, then made a beeline for the customer’s table.
“How may I help you?” she asked with practiced calm.
The woman crossed her arms. “We’ve been waiting for our order. It’s been over ten minutes and we still haven’t gotten it.”
“I’m really sorry for the delay,” Yujin said, giving a small apologetic bow. “I’ll check with the kitchen right away and do my best to get it out as soon as possible.”
She didn’t wait for a response. Turning on her heel, she headed straight for the kitchen.
Inside, the energy was even more intense, oil popping in the fryer, rice cookers beeping, and voices overlapping as orders came in rapid-fire. Eunseo was plating chicken at lightning speed, while Woo-shik hovered near his seafood station, quietly muttering.
“Has anyone seen the order for table twelve?” Yujin called out over the noise. “They’ve been waiting over ten minutes.”
“That’s the mackerel, salmon, chicken and naengmyeon, right?” Yumi asked, quickly scooping rice into hot stone bowls.
Seojoon, calm and focused as always, didn’t even look up from his station. “The mackerel’s done. I just finished it. But the naengmyeon was Woo-shik’s.”
Woo-shik froze mid-step.
“…Wait. I had the noodles?” he asked, voice pitching up slightly.
Seojoon narrowed his eyes. “Please tell me you’re joking.”
“You never handed me the chit!” Woo-shik argued. Then his eyes widened. “Oh… Wait. Was that the one I dropped in the soy sauce?”
“You dropped the order ticket in soy sauce?” Yujin asks, deadpan.
“It was by accident!”
Seojoon, unbothered, handed off the mackerel plate to Yujin. “The chicken and salmon is ready, and I’ll prep the naengmyeon. Two minutes.”
“You sure?” she asked, taking the dish.
“I’ll make it faster than Woo-shik trying to explain himself.”
“Hey!” Woo-shik shouted. “That’s uncalled for—though technically accurate.”
As Seojoon moves toward the prep station to prepare the rest of the order.
Out on the floor, Yujin approached the customer’s table and placed the mackerel, salmon and marinated chicken down gently.
“Again, I apologize for the delay,” she said sincerely. “The cold noodles will be out shortly—and we’ll be sending over a small extra side on the house to thank you for your patience.”
Across the dining room, Eunchae made her way to table nine with her usual polite smile. The woman sitting there didn’t smile back. Instead, she exhaled dramatically and tapped her perfectly manicured nails against her glass like she was summoning a servant.
“You’ve finally come over,” the woman snapped, not even removing her sunglasses. “We’ve been sitting here for ages, and not even a single glass of water.”
Eunchae glanced down at the table. Three glasses of water were already there—untouched, cold, and beading with condensation.
“I’m sorry,” Eunchae said carefully. Her English was still improving, and she chose each word with care. “Water… is here. But I can bring… fresh one. With lemon?”
The woman scoffed. “No, I just want decent service. Honestly, it’s like no one here knows what they’re doing. First-day energy.”
Eunchae kept her posture straight and polite. “We are… a pop-up restaurant. New. But we work… hard.”
The woman rolled her eyes, then turned to the friend beside her and muttered in Spanish under her breath, just loud enough to sting.
“Dios mío, ni siquiera habla bien inglés. ¿Por qué dejan a gente como ella atender mesas?”
My God, she doesn’t even speak English properly. Why do they let people like her wait tables?
Eunchae didn’t catch the exact words, but the tone was unmistakably condescending. Her face flushed with heat, and she straightened slightly, unsure how to respond.
Then a shadow fell over the table.
Jin-woo had stopped mid-stride, holding a tray of dishes. He looked calm, but there was something sharp in his eyes, cold and unwavering. Slowly, he turned his head toward the woman and spoke in flawless, steady Spanish.
“Señora,” he said, voice low and even. “Aquí tratamos a todos con respeto. Si vuelve a hablar así, le puedo mostrar la salida yo mismo.”
Ma’am. Here, we treat everyone with respect. If you speak like that again, I’ll personally show you the door.
The woman blinks, suddenly very aware of how much taller Jin-woo was up close, and how his usual warmth had vanished completely.
“I-I didn’t mean anything by it,” she stammers in shock.
Jin-woo didn’t look away. “You meant exactly what you said.”
He held her gaze for one more beat, the air between them heavy, then turns to Eunchae. His expression softens just slightly.
“You good?”
Eunchae gave the smallest nod. “Yes.”
Jin-woo didn’t say anything more. He walks away slowly, back straight, but nearby tables who had seen the exchange was now very quiet.
Eunchae turns back to the woman, her voice calm but clear.
“I don’t understand all… but I understand rude.”
The woman looked down at her menu, suddenly silent.
“What do you want?” Eunchae asked, voice firmer this time.
“Plain bulgogi,” the woman mutters. “No sauce, no onions, no spice.”
Eunchae nods. “Okay.”
As she walks back toward the kitchen, her hands were still slightly shaking—but her head was high.
Jin-woo stood near the drink station, arms crossed, watching her approach.
“Thank you,” she said quietly.
“You’ve handle it,” he said.
She paused, smiled faintly. “only because you scared her.”
Jin-woo smirked. “Good.”
Then he glances toward the table. “Next time she mouths off, I’m not speaking Spanish. I’m using body language.”
Eunchae laughed under her breath. “Next time… I want to say something back.”
Jin-woo nodded, his voice softer now. “You will.”
And with that, they returned to work faster, steadier, stronger
Timeskip to the final performance
All the idols and Jin-woo are getting ready in the back room next to the kitchen. Looking at the small mirror to make sure they were looking presentable for their final performance. All of them are in an outfit that they picked out at the market during their day off.
Standing in the corner of the room, you can see Yujin warming up her vocals.
“Yaa, biiiii, yaaa.” Sings Yujin, massaging her throat as she continues to warm up.
“Sounds great.” Smirks Jin-woo as he stare at Yujin side eyeing him
“uh huh, aren’t you going to warm up as well?” questions Yujin walking closer towards him, looking at his outfit.
“why would I need to warm up?” questions Jin-woo
“So you don’t sound like shit.” Answers Yujin patting and fixing his black leather jacket.
“If I sound like shit then how about you?” jokes Jin-woo receiving a soft punch by Yujin.
“Do you remember how we are doing this?” asked Yujin, looking up at him.
“Yes, yes. Don’t worry darling I got this.” Answers Jin-woo with his usual arrogant tone.
“Good now lets go.” Says Yujin as she wraps her arm around his and dragging him out the room and out the kitchen where everyone is.
Everyone is standing together beside the stairs of the stage, seeing that the last two arrive, Na Pd-nim starts talking.
“Ah you guys sure took your time huh.” Said Na Pd-nim
Pointing at Yujin with his free arm, he says “It's her fault.”
“Shut up, sorry Pd-nim. Let's start.” Apologizes Yujin
Nodding his head with a smile, he looks at everyone and started giving the rundown again.
“Okay, as we said before: Woo-shik and Seojoon will go up and introduce themselves, then Seojin-hyung will give his prepared speech. Afterwards, Woo-shik and Seojoon will introduce BM, and then it’ll be Eunchae’s turn. Once Eunchae finishes her performance, there will be an intermission where the MC will draw the winners of the lottery. Yumi and Eunseo will be called up to do the draws.
After that, we’ll have Yujin’s performance, which will transition straight into her duet with Jin-woo. Once they’re done, we’ll close with the final group performance, and that will mark the end. The end of Jinny’s Kitchen,” explains Na PD-nim, taking a deep breath.
“Do you need water, PD-nim? Looks like you’re out of breath,” jokes Woo-shik.
“I’m fine,” says Na PD-nim. Just as he’s about to continue, one of his staff members walks up and whispers something in his ear. Nodding, PD-nim looks at the others and opens his mouth.
“Alright, everything is set up and ready. Now, is everyone ready?” asks Na PD-nim. Everyone nods, a mix of excitement and nervous energy in the air.
“Okay, does Seojin-hyung have anything to say?” asks Na PD-nim.
Sighing, Seojin looks around at the group and launches into his usual reluctant speech. “It’s been a great week working with you all. We’ve learned a lot about each other and grown closer, though some more than others,” he adds, glancing at Yujin and Jin-woo. The room erupts into giggles, with Yujin burying her face against Jin-woo’s jacket in embarrassment.
“Let’s end this season, and our trip to Madrid with an amazing performance. Not just for the people here, but for the whole world. Now let’s go! Jinny’s Kitchen on three! 3, 2, 1!”
“JINNY’S KITCHEN!” everyone screams at the top of their lungs.
“Once we’re back in Korea, I’ll treat everyone to dinner,” says Seojin, flashing a rare small smile, prompting another round of cheers.
“Don’t lie to us now,” says Woo-shik with a teasing grin.
“Yes, yes, now let’s go and start the show,” says Seojin, waving them forward.
The lights dim slightly, and soft background music fades in as Woo-shik and Seojoon walk onto the stage, both dressed sharply, smiles on their faces. The audience cheers immediately at the sight of them.
Woo-shik grins and waves. “Annyeonghaseyo! Good evening, everyone! I’m Woo-shik.”
“And I’m Seojoon. Welcome to the grand finale of Jinny’s Kitchen!” Seojoon announces with a dramatic flourish.
The crowd erupts into applause and cheers.
“We’re so excited to have you all here tonight,” Woo-shik continues. “It’s been an incredible journey this season from chopping onions to nearly setting the kitchen on fire”
“That was definitely you, not me,” Seojoon interjects with a smirk.
“Yah, don’t lie in front of all these people!” Woo-shik protests, causing the audience to laugh.
“Anyway,” Seojoon says, fighting back a grin, “before we kick off the performances, we want to bring out someone very special. The man who kept us all in line, fed us well—most of the time and gave us his signature death stares when we slacked off.”
“Please welcome our leader, our boss, our hyung…Lee Seojin!” Woo-shik announces, stepping aside and motioning toward the wings.
The spotlight shifts as Seojin walks out, calm as ever, hands in his pockets. The crowd clapped and cheered, some even shouting, “Seojin hyung!”
Seojin steps up to the mic, takes a short breath, and looks out at the crowd. He gives a slight nod before beginning.
“It’s been a great week working with you all,” he says, voice steady. “We came here as a team, but we’re leaving as something more. I won’t say we didn’t have our share of chaos because believe me, we did. There were times when I genuinely questioned all my life choices that led me to running a kitchen with this group.”
Laughter ripples through the audience and among the cast offstage.
“But in between the burnt dishes, missing ingredients, and confused customers... there were real moments. Moments where we learned how to support each other, laugh even when we were exhausted, and pick up the slack when someone was struggling. That’s something you can’t script. That’s just people being people.”
He pauses, glancing at the team.
“I’ve worked with a lot of casts, a lot of crews. But this team? They surprised me. They stepped up. They took ownership. They made this place feel like more than just a pop-up restaurant it felt like family. And for someone like me… that’s not something I say lightly.”
More quiet laughter. Woo-shik fake gasps dramatically from the side of the stage.
“I know I gave you all a hard time. That’s my job,” Seojin continues, a small smirk tugging at his lips. “But I also saw every moment you tried, every time you stayed late to prep, every dish you remade without being asked. I’m proud of all of you.”
He looks out at the audience.
“And to the people of Madrid, thank you for your warmth, your patience, and your love for Korean food. You welcomed us with open arms, and we hope we made your visit to Jinny’s Kitchen as special as it was for us.”
Finally, he takes a deep breath.
“So, let’s end this season, and our trip to Madrid with an amazing performance. Not just for the people here, but for everyone watching around the world. Let’s give them something they’ll remember. Let’s go.”
A warm round of applause follows as Seojin gives a small bow and steps back, handing the mic to Woo-shik.
“Wahhh… he didn’t even sigh that much this time,” Woo-shik teases, and the crowd laughs again.
“Growth,” Seojoon nods seriously, then turns to the audience. “Alright, now it’s time to heat things up a bit. Our next guest is bringing big energy, big stage presence, and big muscles—”
“Yah!” Woo-shik laughs. “What kind of intro is that?”
“The accurate kind,” Seojoon replies smoothly. “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the one and only….BM!”
The beat drops as the stage lights burst to life. BM struts out with confidence, and the customers, spectators and fans go wild, chanting his name.
Fogging up the club look like a smoke screen
I'm in the new balancie feeling so clean
Caught me by surprise when she approached me
Said she want my substance in her like a dope fiend
Oh, jeez, back it up all on me, but she doing so graceful
Lookin' back at me while her hands are getting playful
Willpower to fight all of these temptations, all disabled
Think the devil came in the form of an angel
2 AM hits, and she told me, let's slide out
Told her only got a couple of hours before I fly out
She don't want to leave me said, let's hit the hideout
And told me, "When we get there, baby turn me inside out"
Damn
See you sending me signs shorty
좁혀가 우리 사이 자연히
아쉬워 혼자 나가기
She on me like, ooh
원하는 건 통일하지
밤의 끝, she want my body
See you after the after-party
See you after, like, ooh
See you after, like, ooh
After party
(A-T-A-P) See you after the after party, ooh
(A-T-A-P) After party
(A-T-A-P) See you after the after-party
Now we locking lips in the taxi
Got her wet up in the backseat
She start getting to unstrapping
Slow it down we got all night
She trying to feel up on what I'm packing
In my ear, talking real nasty
Ooh, little baby real demanding, yeah
Just the way that I like
Pulled up to her house
Sex on the bed
Sex on the couch
Sex in the kitchen fucked her brains out
Every position, let our imaginations run wild
Fuck like a savage, but I keep it gentleman
Let her cum twice before let one out
This gon' be the best sleep she had in a while
5 AM hits told her gotta slide out
LAX in forty-five if I wanna fly out
She said, "Hit me when you back I'll be here at hideout"
Told her, "Daddy gon' be back to turn you inside out"
See you sending me signs shorty
좁혀가 우리 사이 자연히
아쉬워 혼자 나가기
She on me like, ooh
원하는 건 통일하지
밤의 끝, she want my body
See you after the after-party
See you after, like, ooh
See you after, like, ooh
After party
(A-T-A-P) See you after the after party, ooh
(A-T-A-P) After party
(A-T-A-P) See you after the after-party
Finishing up, BM, drenched in sweat, bows to the audience before heading down the stairs with a smile, the sound of applause following him. He walks over to the others and grabs a bottle of water from Eunseo, taking a big gulp. Wiping his mouth and forehead with his sleeve, he looks up to see everyone staring at him strangely.
"What?" BM asks, confused.
"First off, good performance. Second, we have towels for you, so you don’t need to use your shirt," Yujin says with a hint of disgust.
"Seriously oppa, you’re gonna stretch out your sleeves like that every time?" Eunchae adds, wrinkling her nose. "We’re literally holding the towels.”
"It’s fine. It’s normal to do that. Right, Jin-woo?" BM turns to Jin-woo for backup.
"Can’t help you there, buddy. The only time I do that is when I’m at the gym in my workout clothes," Jin-woo replies with an apologetic smile.
BM throws his hands up. "Wow. No loyalty in this group."
Eunseo laughs and hands him a towel anyway. "Here, just take this before you ruin your shirt. Again."
"It’s okay, oppa, you did well!" she adds, patting him on the back—then immediately wipes her hand on the towel. "Ew. Yeah, definitely take that."
"Thanks. I feel very supported right now," BM says dryly.
“You’ll survive,” Yujin teases. “Your shirt won’t, though.”
"Okay, okay, enough about my shirt. Eunchae you’re next?" BM asks, looking around.
"Mhm” Eunchae says, stepping forward.
"Ready to steal the show?" Jin-woo smirks.
Eunchae shrugs with a confident grin. "Always."
Jin-woo reaches out and rubs her hair playfully. "Let’s see that star power, then."
Eunchae slaps his hand away. "Hands off the hair! I just fixed it."
The group laughs as she smooths it down again.
"Break a leg!" Eunseo cheers.
"You got this!" BM adds, raising his water bottle like a toast.
"Don’t trip on the stairs," Yujin says helpfully.
Eunchae rolls her eyes with a smile. "Thanks for the vote of confidence."
As her name is called, Eunchae takes a couple of deep breaths and walks up the stairs, the group watching her with anticipation and quiet encouragement.
Music starts
The room dims, and a quiet hush falls over the crowd. A soft piano intro trickles through the speakers. Eunchae steps into the spotlight, standing alone with just a mic stand and a single, warm beam of light.
She closes her eyes for a second, just long enough to steady her breath.
Then, her voice, clear and aching, fills the room.
“Wanna go crazy
But it's too late, worried what others might think of me
Another day of chasing her on the screen
Then it all ends, don't want to let go”
Her voice is gentle, not loud, but it holds weight. Emotion lingers in every word.
“It's become a luxury
A movie cliché that I've written in my journal
I was happy back then, free to dream, no strings attached
Now, I ask what all this means”
Backstage, the rest of the group watches in silence.
Yujin leans a little closer to Jin-woo, whispering, “She’s really come a long way.”
Jin-woo’s eyes don’t leave the stage. “Yeah. She used to sing like she wasn’t sure she had the right to.”
Eunchae’s voice lifts slightly:
“Me outside of the square, who? Who?
What do I like, are you? You?
The world is too much
I ask myself, ‘Are you enough?’”
Yujin smiles softly. “She’s not just singing. She’s feeling it now.”
“She practiced this one late. Alone. Thought I didn’t notice,” Jin-woo murmurs. His tone is quiet, proud. “She wanted this moment.”
Eunchae’s hands gently grip the mic stand as she flows into the chorus, her voice fuller, rising like a wave:
“I'm crazy for feeling more
Jealous of being able to go crazy
'Cause you're in love”
She closes her eyes, lets the emotion carry her through the second verse:
“Mm
What would you know when you've got everything?
I hesitate at the question and my words trail off
Don't want to let go, the tip of my childhood dreams
And I know it's not the same, everything's changed at home”
“Just like the earmarked page of a fairytale
I'm still looking for something
Don't you feel we all lost something?
A dream, a fragrant room
Do you want to knock on the door with me?”
The spotlight widens, bathing her in golden light. She stands tall.
“You should ask the more it hurts, who? Who?
How's your heart, are you? You?
This racing heartbeat
It's telling you something precious”
Her voice grows more powerful, bolder:
“I'm crazy for feeling more
Jealous of being able to go crazy
'Cause you're in love
What's crazier than loving more?
Couldn't go crazy in my youth
Still beautiful”
The final notes settle like dusk over the crowd.
“If you love something beyond sanity
Someday look back and see
A flower which bloomed
On this field of thorns”
Silence. For a second, there’s no movement, just the breath she exhales as she lowers the mic.
Then the applause hits like a wave.
Backstage, Jin-woo is the first to step forward. As Eunchae walks down the stairs, he meets her halfway.
“You killed it,” he says quietly. “I’m proud of you. So damn proud.”
She stares at him, blinking like she doesn’t believe him. “Really?”
He smiles, hand resting briefly on her shoulder. “You finally let them hear you.”
Yujin grins beside them. “You made us feel it. Every word.”
And for the first time tonight, Eunchae lets out a breathless laugh, tears bubbling up in her eyes. “I thought I’d fall apart halfway through.”
Pulling her into a hug “But you didn’t,” Jin-woo says. “You bloomed.”
"You showed everyone what you’re made of," Yujin says, joining the hug.
"Thank you, Oppa and Unnie," Eunchae sniffles, wiping her eyes before turning to Yujin. "It’s going to be your turn soon. Are you ready?"
"Of course I am Manchae," Yujin replies with a small smile.
"Good, ’cause I love your singing, Unnie, and I can’t wait to see your performance," Eunchae says, beaming.
"What about me? Aren’t you gonna ask if I’m ready?" Jin-woo says, pretending to be offended.
"Pfft, you’re probably gonna overdo it and make Yujin-Unnie look bad," Eunchae replies with a side-eye.
"What the hell? Since when were you two so close?" Jin-woo gasps. "I thought we were tight! After everything I’ve done for you… ungrateful. SMH."
"Hey, don’t be jealous just because she likes me more," Yujin teases, smirking as she wraps an arm around Eunchae. "Ignore him, Eunchae. I’ll treat you to something good after this."
"I love you soooo much, Unnie," Eunchae says dramatically, hugging her tightly.
"Hmph," Jin-woo mutters under his breath.
"Okay guys, the lottery’s about to start," Seojin interjects, watching the whole drama unfold with the others nearby, some laughing, some barely holding in their giggles.
Woo-shik strides onto the stage with dramatic flair, mic in hand and a wide grin on his face. "Alright, alright! Who’s feeling lucky tonight?!"
The audience erupts in cheers, hands shooting up as people wave their raffle tickets like golden passes. Seojoon follows behind him, walking with the cool confidence of a seasoned showman.
"Welcome to our official lottery draw!" Seojoon announces, his voice booming over the speakers. "Now, if you’re wondering why you’ve got a little ticket in your bag or pocket, let us clear it up."
Woo-shik nods. "Everyone who dined in with us over the past few days got one of these babies when they paid. So yes, your food coma might come with a prize."
Laughter ripples through the room.
"And we’ve got some good stuff lined up tonight," Seojoon says, holding up three fingers. "Third prize is 150 USD dollars."
"Second prize," Woo-shik chimes in, "is a signed photobook from tonight’s performers. Limited edition. Includes exclusive behind-the-scenes photos, some of which shouldn’t have been taken, if we’re being honest."
“No way!” Seojoon gives a mock gasp. "And finally, the grand prize is an all-inclusive trip to South Korea with a set itinerary!" earning a loud applause from the audience.
With the excitement building, Woo-shik raises his arm dramatically. "Let’s bring out our lovely guests who’ll be drawing the winning tickets tonight! Please welcome, Eunseo, Yumi, and Seojin!"
Cheers echo through the space as the three step onto the stage. Eunseo gives a bright wave, Yumi offers a shy bow, and Seojin flashes a peace sign, already enjoying the spotlight.
"Eunseo," Woo-shik says, gesturing to the raffle box, "you’re up first. This is for third prize. Give it a good swirl."
Eunseo steps up, giggling softly as she dips her hand into the mountain of tickets. After a few seconds of rifling around, she pulls one out and reads it aloud.
"Number... 248!"
A high-pitched scream pierces the crowd, followed by a flurry of motion as someone from the back jumps to their feet and runs toward the stage, ticket clutched tightly in hand.
Seojoon chuckles. "We’ve got ourselves a 150 dollar winner. Congrats!"
As the winner accepts their prize and steps aside, Yumi moves forward, already glancing nervously at the box.
"Alright, second prize time," Woo-shik says. "Let’s see who’s getting that photobook."
Yumi hesitates for just a second before reaching in and pulling out a folded ticket. She opens it carefully and speaks into the mic.
"Number zero-one-two."
For a moment, the room is silent. Then, someone from the second-row gasps and shoots their hand into the air, waving the ticket like a flag. They rush forward with a stunned smile.
"Make some shelf space," Seojoon says as he hands them the photobook. "You're taking home a piece of tonight’s history."
Finally, Seojin steps up with an exaggerated bow, clearly milking the moment for drama. The crowd laughs, watching as he swirls his hand around inside the box with a magician’s flair.
"The grand prize..." he announces, pausing for effect. "Goes to... number zero-nine-nine!"
A gasp rises from the middle of the crowd, and a girl jumps out of her seat, covering her mouth with her hands as she checks her ticket once more. She bolts toward the stage in disbelief.
Woo-shik hands her a red envelope with a wink. "Congratulations, a lot of things have been planned for your trip so hope you’re ready for it."
Applause fills the room as the winners gather for a photo, standing proudly with their prizes under the warm glow of the stage lights.
"And that wraps up our lottery draw!" Seojoon says, raising his mic one final time. "Thanks for playing and thank you all for being part of tonight’s amazing energy."
“Now to introduce our next performer, the one and only An Yujin from IVE.” Announce Woo-shik as the stage lights turn off.
Walking onto the stage, Yujin stands alone, bathed in a single soft spotlight. The room hushes, anticipation hanging thick in the air.
The music kicks in , a slow yet confident beat, and in a quick flash, the restaurant's lights blaze back on, illuminating Yujin in a sultry glow. Her eyes sweep across the room, locking briefly with stunned diners, a mischievous smirk tugging at her lips. With a fluid movement, she brings the mic to her mouth and starts to sing.
I book myself tables
At all the best restaurants, then eat alone
Yujin steps off the stage gracefully, moving with the music. She struts through the narrow aisle, brushing her fingertips across the tabletops, causing heads to turn and murmurs of excitement to ripple.
I buy myself fast cars
Just so I can drive them real fuckin' slow
Passing a table of fans, she gives a cheeky wink, and one of them, catching them completely off guard, nearly knocks over their drink trying to wave back. Yujin just laughs under her breath, never missing a beat.
I like my own company
Company, I don't need it
I'm not always cold
I'm just good on my own, so good on my own
Crossing toward the side, she notices a group of little kids clapping awkwardly to the rhythm. Yujin crouches low, singing to them with a goofy face, making them giggle before she ruffles their hair playfully and dances away.
I've always been told, one day, I'll find
Somebody who changes my mind
Glancing up, she locks eyes with Jin-woo across the room. He's standing casually between Eunchae and Eunseo, but the second their eyes meet, everything else fades away.
If they come along, I won't think twice
Yujin saunters toward him, hips swaying effortlessly to the beat. Jin-woo, ever the performer himself, crosses his arms and grins at her approach, playing it cool.
'Cause I already got a good thing with me
Yeah, I already got everything I need
Singing directly to him now, her voice dipping into something lower, more intimate. Their proximity draws murmurs from the audience, but neither Yujin nor Jin-woo seem to notice as their focus is locked tight.
The best things in life are already mine
Don't tell me that you got a good thing for me
Yujin circles him slowly, teasingly dragging a finger across his shoulder as she passes, causing Eunchae and Eunseo to nudge each other with wide, knowing smiles.
'Cause I already got a good thing with me
Yeah, I already done everything I dream
She tosses a playful glance over her shoulder before walking away again, continuing her path through the audience.
I'm good by myself, don't need no one else
Don't tell me that you got a good thing for me
'Cause I already got a good thing
Mid-aisle, she reaches an elderly couple gently swaying to the music. Yujin kneels briefly to sing with them, holding the lady’s hand sweetly as the old man beams proudly.
I make myself up
Just to dance in the mirror when I'm at home
Back on her feet, she twirls dramatically, making her way between tables. Someone holds out their phone, Yujin, always playful, grabs it and snaps a silly selfie with them mid-dance.
I pose and take pictures
Then send them to people that I don't know
I like getting compliments
Compliments how I'm feeling, oh
I'm not always selfish
Just bad at romance, it's not in my bones
I've always been told, one day, I'll find
Somebody who changes my mind
The music softens a bit, and her steps slow. Her gaze flickers across the audience until it finds Jin-woo again still there, still watching her.
If they come along, I won't think twice
Yujin smiles warmly this time, her voice returning to a less playful, more genuine one as she makes her way back toward the front.
'Cause I already got a good thing with me (Good thing with me)
Yeah, I already got everything I need (Everything I need)
The best things in life are already mine
Don't tell me that you got a good thing for me
Climbing the steps with elegance, she returns to center stage.
'Cause I already got a good thing with me (Good thing with me)
Yeah, I already done everything I dream (Everything I dream)
The final chorus pulses, and Yujin stands tall, bathed in golden light.
I'm good by myself, don't need no one else
Don't tell me that you got a good thing for me
'Cause I already got a good thing
I've always been told, one day, I'll find
Somebody who changes my mind
The music softens again, and Yujin raises her free hand, palm open like she's releasing something into the air.
If they come along, I won't think twice
She lets the last words flow out; her voice crystal clear.
'Cause I already got a good thing with me (Oh, good thing with me)
Yeah, I already got everything I need (Everything I need, yeah)
Lights around the restaurant dim slightly, focusing all attention solely on her.
The best things in life are already mine
Don't tell me that you got a good thing for me (No, no)
Yujin closes her eyes briefly, soaking in the music, the energy, the love from everyone in the room.
'Cause I already got a good thing with me (Good thing with me)
Yeah, I already done everything I dream (Everything, yeah)
On the final line, she opens her eyes and steps forward one last time.
I'm good by myself, don't need no one else
Don't tell me that you got a good thing for me
'Cause I already got a good thing.
The last note lingers as she strikes a fierce, triumphant pose.
The restaurant erupts into loud cheers and applause, but it didn’t last long.
The lights in the restaurant suddenly turn off, causing the applause to halt returning the restaurant to an eerie silence. Before a voice and music cuts the silence with the lights shining straight down at Yujin again.
Every time I close my eyes
Oh, I always see those eyes
So I wanted to forget
All the pain since we first met
If this isn’t real, someone wake me from this dream, please
Is this destiny, are we really meant to be
Fall, falling you
Another voice rings through the speakers as the lights shine towards the side, straight at Jin-woo causing everyone around him to look at him in shock. Holding a mic, he continues the song as he walks towards the stage, eyes not leaving Yujin for a second. The cameras followed his movement towards the stage stairs and his way towards Yujin. Both facing towards each other in a loving gaze.
Like destiny, we're just falling
You’re calling out to me calling
I can’t escape your love any more just hold me
The other half of my being
All the while I’ve been waiting
For you to take my heart with you it’s sinking
(Stay with me)
And are you living in my heart within me
(Stay with me)
With all the truth I hid so deep
Every time I close my eyes
Oh, I always see those eyes
So I wanted to forget
All the pain since we first met
If this isn’t real, someone wake me from this dream, please
Is this destiny, are we really meant to be
Fall, falling you
My heart’s beating it goes
When I look at you so close
I’m finding it hard to breathe
Even when you’re not around
Oh you’re all I think about
Oh what have you done to me
Different from the moment I first saw you
This time of fate is passing slowly
My heart was heading towards you
My heart was racing again
The faint light was turned off
But my eyes are lighting up again because of you
Feels like I’ve loved you from a long time ago
Feels like I’m being pulled by something
Every time I close my eyes
Oh, I always see those eyes
So I wanted to forget
All the pain since we first met
If this isn’t real, someone wake me from this dream, please
Is this destiny, are we really meant to be
Fall, falling you
Finishing the last lyric, Yujin and Jin-woo share a small bow, their hands still intertwined, basking in the wave of applause crashing over them. The audience, the camera crew, and their fellow cast members are all entranced. Their performance has drawn everyone in completely, leaving the entire restaurant wrapped in a soft, warm atmosphere.
Glancing over at BM and Eunchae, Jin-woo gives a small nod signaling for them to come over. They both quickly get on stage
Once they’ve reached the stage, they all line up facing the front and bow deeply, hands linked, their faces glowing with happiness.
"Thank you for visiting Jinny’s Kitchen!" Yujin calls out, her voice light and clear, showing her gummy smile.
"Thank you for all the love!" BM adds, grinning brightly.
The applause continues, cheers mixing with claps as they leave the stage passing Woo-shik and Seojoon who congratulates them as they walk up on stage.
“Woo-shik-shik, that was a phenomenal performance by everyone wasn’t it?” asks Seojoon, looking at his close friend.
“yes it was, All the performances were amazing and if I had the time to compliment them it’ll take all night. What does everyone think?” asks Woo-shik to which the crowd cheers in response.
“But unfortunately, we don’t have time as it is our last night here in Madrid.” Said Seojoon
"Ah... feels like we’re really closing a chapter tonight," Woo-shik says, a slight laugh under his words.
Seojoon nods. "Maybe next time, we’ll come back to Madrid for a reunion!" he jokes, earning a round of laughter from everyone, even Na PD-nim.
“Now why don’t we get everyone back on stage.” Said Woo-shik, calling for everyone to come up. Slowly everyone walks on stage and lines up at the front.
“Everyone here has taken a part of running this restaurant, whether its service, the bar or the kitchen. Although we aren’t seasoned professionals, I hope our group of actors, idols and gamers gave you all a memorable experience.” Said Seojoon with a calm yet emotional tone.
“We still have 1 hour left until we close so lets finish the night strong and Thank you all for supporting Jinny’s kitchen Season 3!” announces Woo-shik loudly before they all give one final bow, before quickly stepping off the stage, heading back to their stations to finish running the restaurant for the night. Their hearts are light, smiles wide.
Timeskip
Later that night, back at the house, the air is relaxed. After quick showers, they gather around the dining table, now overflowing with luxurious dishes Na PD-nim has personally brought from a nearby restaurant.
BM sits down first, rubbing his hands together. "Finally! Gourmet food without needing to cook it ourselves."
"I feel like a VIP, almost as good as Oppa friends place." Eunchae says, already loading her plate with food.
Yujin laughs, picking up her chopsticks. "We deserve this after today."
As they start eating, conversation flows easily, their energy still high from the evening’s success.
"Yujin-unnie and Oppa's performance was absolutely perfect. You both complement each other perfectly.” Eunchae says between bites, playfully nudging Yujin as she takes a bite of her food.
"Seriously," BM agrees. "The transition to Jin-woo joining in on the song was spectacular! I was so surprised."
Jin-woo laughs, rubbing his side. "What? I'm just telling the truth."
"You were supposed to follow my lead, not try to steal the spotlight," Yujin says, narrowing her eyes at him.
He shrugs innocently. "I was just matching your energy. You set the bar too high."
The others at the table laugh, watching their playful bickering with wide grins.
Yumi shakes her head, smiling. "Look at them. They’re still stuck in performance mode."
BM leans in, grinning mischievously. "Honestly, just get married already. Save us all the suspense."
The table erupts in laughter. Jin-woo hides his face behind his hand while Yujin gasps, half laughing, half mortified.
"Yah! What are you saying?" Yujin protests, cheeks flushing pink.
Jin-woo just chuckles, sneaking a glance at her. "Well... not the worst idea," he mumbles under his breath, making the others laugh even louder.
The ever so quiet Seojin raises his glass. "If that happens, make sure to invite us to the wedding. We’ll be in the front row."
Yujin groans and drops her head onto the table, while Jin-woo just grins wider, clearly enjoying every second of it.
“Hahaha, Once the episode comes out it's going to go absolutely viral!” said Woo-shik
Nodding in agreement, Yumi says “It's probably gonna go viral next morning, people are going to post clips and edits on TikTok and YouTube.”
“Yea, but it’ll make everyone more excited for the episode.” Said Seojoon
“But won’t the fans go crazy and ship you both.” Said Eunseo, a bit worried
Yujin pouts a bit and lets out a groan as the thought pops up in their mind.
“They will but hopefully they won’t get the idea too twisted.” Said Yujin hopefully
“especially dispatch.” Eunchae adds making the atmosphere dip a bit
“Eh Its whatever, they probably wont have anything on us. If so I’ll just pay them off.” Said Jin-woo without a single care, munching on his food. “Besides its not like we are doing anything illegal.”
“Yea but it’ll affect IVE. You know how bad it is when idols get caught dating. Remember Karina-unnie?” said Yujin looking at Jin-woo with a concerned look.
Sighing, he says “we’ll talk about it later if it happens.” Everyone stays in silence as they all know how the public will react to dating news.
Then, Na PD-nim clears his throat loudly, catching everyone's attention.
"Alright, enough with this sad stuff" he says with a smirk. "Its Seojin-Hyung’s favorite segment. Time to guess How much do you think we made during our time here. Remember it was only 7 days after we took the day off. Jin-woo can’t guess because he secretly counted everything before we got the chance.”
"Ooh, I wanna go first!" BM raises his hand. "5 million won!"
"Are you crazy? Way higher!" Woo-shik calls out confidently. "I’m saying 17 million."
"20.2!" Eunchae says, pointing her chopsticks dramatically.
Yujin taps her chin. "Maybe... 18 million?"
Na PD-nim grins wider. "Not even close," he says mischievously.
Seojin thinks for a bit before say “30 Million?”
He picks up a piece of paper and begins reading the daily totals out loud, building suspense.
"Day one, 7.1 million. Day two, 15 million... and the total..." He pauses dramatically, drawing it out as everyone leans closer.
"...126.5 million won! Congratulations!!!"
The room explodes.
"WHAT?!" BM shouts, nearly falling out of his chair.
"No way!" Eunchae gasps, mouth open.
"You’re joking!" Woo-shik laughs.
Yujin claps her hands together in disbelief, beaming.
Jin-woo laughs loudly at their reaction. “HAHAHAH look at your faces!
Na PD-nim laughs heartily. "You all worked hard. You deserve it."
"I want a bonus for all the fish I sliced! I can see them in my dreams" Woo-shik jokes.
"I deserve double for charming the customers!" Eunchae protests, laughing.
“hahahaha!” they all laugh together enjoying their final time together until god know how long.
The night wraps up with full stomachs and even fuller hearts. A perfect end to a week none of them will ever forget.
Bedroom
“ughhhh” groans Jin-woo as he stretches his limbs on the bed, already snuggled comfortably under the blankets. Bringing the blanket up and over his head, he spreads his arms across the bed like he owns it. Bathing in the coziness, it gets interrupted as someone lights the sheets and slides in.
Yujin slides under the blanket and lays down on Jin-woo, head against his chest as she shuffles around to get comfortable.
“Hmm, you are very comfortable to sleep on. I envy Eunchae for being able to sleep so comfortably when you both were younger.” Comments Yujin wrapping her hands softly around his torso.
“Mhmmm, if it’s you then I don’t mind you holding on. As long as you don’t move throughout the night like a certain someone.” Says Jin-woo, eyes closed with a cheeky smile adorn on his face. “And if you don’t fart.”
“Ya! Disgusting. You ruin the mood and for your information girls, especially me, don't fart.” Claims Yujin slapping his chest.
“Ya, unnie, oppa. I’m still here, you know.” Said Eunchae standing right outside the bathroom door, hands on her waist staring down at the two. Walking towards them, she says “I can’t believe you replaced me oppa, I thought I’d still be your number one girl, but once you’ve returned home you got a replacement.”
Eunchae pouts sadly swaying left and right holding the blanket. Both Yujin and Jin-woo look at each other before looking at Eunchae, before shaking their heads. Yujin lifts the blanket up “come on you big baby, we’ll share him together.” Yujin says, bringing back the smile on Eunchae’s face as she quickly claims her spot on him.
“I swear both of you are going to be the death of me.” Groans Jin-woo feeling both of the weight and grip onto him. “Well, you better make good use of this because once we get back we will all be busy.”
“hmm, well you have a car and a phone so keep it on you.” Said Yujin
“we’ll still have our nightly drama binge.” Said Eunchae both of them looking up at him
Sighing, he replies “one of you is going on a workcation and the other one is…what are you doing again? Filming content?”
Eunchae gasps, clearly taken back. “Oppa, How do you not know my schedule! I’m disappointed.”
“My bad, my bad Manchae. I’ll make sure to remember next time.” said Jin-woo, poking her cheek.
Scrunching up her face, she pulls away from his fingers, making eye contact with Yujin. The two giggle as they look at each with mischievous grins, a single thought passing through their mind. Feeling chills, Jin-woo looks down at both of their grins before trying to wiggle out of their grip.
“Get me out, I don’t like what you’re planning.” Says Jin-woo as he surprisingly struggles to get out as they both start tickling him.
“Hahaha Stop it! Or You’ll regret it!! HAHAHA.” Laughs Jin-woo tears dropping from his eyes. As they stop, Jin-woo looks down at the both of them, his blue eyes filled with purpose. “I’ll make you guys regret your decision.”
“You wish Oppa, I’ll get my unnies to protect me!” said Eunchae smugly
“I also have my girls and some secret weapons to save me.” Said Yujin grinning widely showing her dimples
“You both win for now but mark my words. Now come on, let's sleep before we get to the airport and get back home.” Said Jin-woo
After thirteen hours of flight, a marathon of movies, chaotic card games that end in way too much yelling, and more delicious food than they can reasonably eat, they finally touch down back home in Korea.
As the plane taxis to the gate, a soft, bittersweet mood hangs over them.
Madrid already feels like a distant memory, the sunshine, the late-night adventures, the laughter echoing through cobblestone streets. They miss it more than they expected.
But Korea is home. And, deep down, they’ve missed it even more.
Stretching her arms high over her head, Eunchae lets out a loud, theatrical groan as they disembark into the jet bridge.
"I'm seriously going to miss flying private," she whines dramatically, dragging her small carry-on behind her.
Jin-woo chuckles, rolling his eyes affectionately.
"Listen to yourself," he teases. "You were just complaining two days ago that it was too quiet."
"That was different!" Eunchae defends with a huff. "Now I’m spoiled. I can't go back to normal flights with crying babies and elbow wars for the armrest."
Yujin laughs beside them, slinging her bag over one shoulder.
"You're already spoiled, you’ve been spoiled since you were born." she says, bumping her shoulder into Eunchae's.
"Already a lost cause," Jin-woo adds with a grin.
Eunchae just sticks her tongue out at both of them as they make their way toward the arrival gates, playful energy buzzing between them despite the early hour.
As the sliding doors open and the airport lobby comes into view, they all come to an abrupt stop.
A sea of reporters and photographers is waiting just beyond the ropes. Cameras flash instantly, voices rise, and microphones are shoved in their general direction.
"Oh no," Yujin mutters under her breath.
"How did they even find out we were coming back today?" Eunchae whispers, shrinking slightly behind Yujin.
Jin-woo, however, doesn’t look even the slightest bit concerned. If anything, his lips curl into a slow, wicked smirk.
Yujin catches it immediately.
"Jin-woo. No," she says sternly, already sensing the chaos brewing behind his eyes.
He leans closer, voice low and filled with glee.
"This is revenge for last night," he whispers.
Before Yujin can question him further, Jin-woo turns to Woo-shik, who is following close behind with his own duffel slung over his shoulder. He bends down, whispers something quick and urgent into Woo-shik’s ear. Woo-shik blinks once, glances at the gathering crowd of press, then shrugs and nods, moving to grab everyone’s luggage as instructed.
And then chaos.
Jin-woo suddenly drops his own bag onto the ground with a heavy thud. In one swift, practiced movement, he scoops Yujin up and throws her over his shoulder, her face now completely facing the press. Her eyes widened in shock, her hands immediately covering her face in a desperate attempt to hide from the cameras.
"JIN-WOO!" Yujin shrieks, her fists pounding against his back. "PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!"
But he’s already laughing, his whole body shaking with it as he spins toward Eunchae, who’s standing right in front of him, already fully visible to the reporters.
Eunchae tries to step back, but before she can even protest, Jin-woo grabs her too, slinging her over his other shoulder. Her face turns beet-red as she immediately hides behind her hands, trying to shield herself from the flashing cameras.
"AHHH! OPPA, YOU MANIAC!!" Eunchae screeches, trying to push herself up but failing.
The reporters’ flashing intensifies into a blinding strobe as Jin-woo jogs forward proudly, both girls facing the crowd with their bodies flailing over his shoulders. The scene is absurd, but Jin-woo loves every second of it.
He grins and flexes one arm exaggeratedly for the cameras, causing some of the photographers to burst out laughing. Woo-shik, dutifully dragging the abandoned luggage, and the others are struggling not to double over in laughter.
"SMILE FOR THE CAMERAS, LADIES!" Jin-woo calls cheerfully over the chaos, posing for the cameras.
"YOU’RE DEAD, YOU HEAR ME?!" Yujin yells, her voice filled with anger and embarrassment.
"DROP ME, OPPA, YOU PSYCHO!" Eunchae hollers, her fists pounding into the air.
With dramatic flair, Jin-woo spins in a full circle for the cameras, showing off his "trophies" before finally setting the two girls down. Both stumble, hair and clothes disheveled, faces burning red with a mixture of fury and embarrassment. Yujin and Eunchae immediately cover their faces, trying to regain some semblance of dignity.
They glare at him murderously.
"You," Yujin says, pointing a trembling finger at him, "are a DEAD man."
"Start running, oppa," Eunchae adds darkly, her voice low and dangerous.
Jin-woo’s eyes widen comically. "Oh no. My poor life," he says, before immediately taking off at a sprint toward the waiting car.
"GET BACK HERE!!" Yujin and Eunchae roar in unison, bolting after him.
The chase is pure chaos, luggage abandoned, Woo-shik and the others laughing as they try to keep up behind them, the paparazzi still madly snapping photos of the entire scene.
Jin-woo barely makes it to the van first, yanking the door open and diving inside. He slams it behind him just as Yujin and Eunchae catch up, pounding furiously on the glass.
"YOU CAN’T HIDE FOREVER!" Eunchae shouts.
"WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE, YOU MENACE!" Yujin adds.
From inside the van, Jin-woo just grins through the glass, wiggling his fingers in a playful wave.
Woo-shik finally catches up, tossing the luggage into the trunk before opening the side door.
"Get out, your car is behind ours," he says, laughing as he blocks Yujin and Eunchae from usher into the van.
Both girls tries to reach out from behind trying to grab him, grumbling, hair messy and cheeks still red.
Jin-woo sticks his tongue out and looks towards Woo-shik, laughing breathlessly.
"Come on Hyung, They’ll kill me! I’m going to get strangled while driving."
“Too bad, you did this to yourself.” Said Woo-shik
“Aish, the commotion you made. You are the most interesting person I’ve ever met.” Said Seojin, standing behind them with the others, luggage beside them.
“Fine fine, but no hitting while I drive ok? Truce?” bargains Jin-woo
"No truce," Yujin mutters darkly, adjusting her ponytail.
"Death," Eunchae confirms, glaring at him as she crosses her arms.
"But it was funny, right?" Jin-woo says, flashing a hopeful smile.
Both girls stare at him. Long. Hard. Unamused.
"...A little funny," Yujin finally mutters under her breath. “but I won’t forget about this.”
Eunchae complains. "I'm gonna get my revenge, oppa."
"Oh, don’t worry," Yujin says, cracking her knuckles ominously. "We’ll plan something. Something big."
Jin-woo exits the van, hands on his forehead, grinning like the devil himself.
"Bring it on," he says confidently, getting in his car as his luggage is placed in the trunk.
“Be prepared.” Said Yujin as she and Eunchae enter the car as well.
The car pulls away from the airport, with the van following from behind into the busy highway before dispersing into different directions heading home.
