(Back when Hanwoo and Chanmin visited Gaeul at Ehwa)
“Wait, why do I feel like I’ve seen it before… is she…” Chanmin’s words are blurry for me. But I don’t care anymore.
“Wait, why do I feel like I’ve seen it before… is she…” Chanmin speaks in a very low voice; he’s remembering something nostalgic.
The way Gaeul moved seemed familiar to him.
“Wait, Hanwoo— huh? Is he gone? I don’t think it’s… never mind.” Chanmin gave up. There’s a crack in their relationship anyway.
…
…
…
He kneeled in front of her and tied her shoes for her. “She didn’t even let me do that.”
“Wait! M-ma’am, your shoe lace.” Minjae, the guy whose with Gaeul, stuttered and was scared.
“So what are you gonna do? Tie it.” She’s like a boss, well, she always does.
“Y-Yes!” Minjae kneeled and tied her loose shoelaces.
She gave her bag to him, and he happily holds it for her. “She didn’t even let me do that.”
“My shoulder’s sore, hold this.” Gaeul dropped her back to his head with a smacking thud. She grinned at her own actions.
“OUGH– Yes, ma’am!” He stood up and held her bag. Apparently, it’s full of rocks that Gaeul used in one of their art minor courses. Minjae is scratching the back of her head, and the stinging pain doesn’t go away.
She smiled, enjoying torturing Minjae.
They walk together, and he clears the pathway for her. “She didn’t even let me do that.”
“I see a lot of trash, clear it up.” Gaeul stopped walking and ordered Minjae to clear her path.
“Yes! Move… move please… thank you… Hey, don’t litter, move. Thank you!” Minjae did what Gaeul told him to do.
“OHHHH! Minjae’s clearing the road for the queen!” Her friends, I suppose, are cheering for them as they walk.
“Shh! Quiet! Gaeul might kill me— mooooveee.” Minjae’s suffering from Gaeul.
…
…
…
“Gaeul!” Chanmin called her name.
“Chanmin? What are you doing here?” Gaeul looks happy to see Chanmin.
“Who’s he?” Chanmin points at Minjae, who’s clearing trash on Gaeul’s pathway.
“Him? Just a boastful fucker.” Gaeul’s mad, and Chanmin knows he'd better tell her something just happened.
“Is it because of Hanwoo?” Chanmin’s careful with his words.
“Yes. This guy thought he was better than my boyfriend and dared to flirt with me. He deserved to die, but I can’t kill a pest. So, I'm lecturing him.” If looks can kill, Gaeul already killed that man.
“Uhh, Gaeul, speaking of… Hanwoo.” Chanmin said.
“What? Tell me? Did he get hurt? Or did he tell you stories about what happened? Tell me!” Upon hearing it, Chanmin couldn’t help but feel bad.

Gaeul’s always excited to hear Hanwoo’s stories, so he puts Chanmin on him. She doesn’t know how to express herself, so she’s relying on her own method of caring. She always drops her cold and icy facade, turning into some lovely princess when it comes to Hanwoo’s story.
“The thing is… I didn’t come alone… I’m with Hanwoo.” Chanmin stated slowly.
“H-huh!? W-where? Where’s Hanwoo? Yeah, I forgot to call him and say sorry, for the first time…” Gaeul seemed ready to drop her pride as well just to make it up with Hanwoo.
“He left.” Chanmin’s words stabbed Gaeul’s heart.
“He saw you and that… whatever that guy is. You looked lovely, in fact, I also saw it. So I guess, Hanwoo thought it also that way…” Chanmin added. Gaeul’s heart is not just stabbed this time, it’s sliced into pieces.
…
…
…
“No…” Gaeul became the saddest she had ever felt for the rest of her life.
