Dahyun might have the same problem as Chaeyoung. Actually, they all knew for a fact that Chaeyoung didn’t have a problem, their friend just really liked having sex.
But Dahyun might as well consider her situation as a problem because ever since that night Nayeon caught her and they both ended up talking dirty to each other over the phone, well—mostly Nayeon; Dahyun had been constantly spacing out at random times of the day and getting an erection the moment she remembered that night.
There was one morning while she was catering to new customers who were interested in renting out one of her conference rooms, they were busy discussing about logistics and all that when Dahyun suddenly remembered Nayeon’s breathy voice over the phone, then it quickly shifted to her moaning and that made Dahyun excuse herself to fix her boner in the bathroom.
She felt like it was enough to get her soul to leave her body because it was starting to get inconvenient if it was gonna keep up at work.
So, at the moment, she decided to tap away on her computer, at least doing the bare minimum for her other job while waiting for the time to pass until the peak hour came in. According to Jihyo, it was exam week, combined with the fact that it was the weekend, so Dahyun expected she was going to be busy today. And it might help in distracting her from dirty thoughts about Nayeon and the things she could do to Dahyun.
Luckily she had some help that day—well, sort of. Chaeyoung decided to spend her weekend with Dahyun; and by help it was mostly Chaeyoung making coffee for herself, wiping one counter, and then plopping on Jihyo’s usual table to look at memes on her phone.
Dahyun took a glance at her friend who was still scrolling through her phone. “Chaeng, can you at least check around if everyone is doing okay? There might be customers that need help with the facilities.”
Chaeyoung threw her head back but tilted it to look at Dahyun with her deep dimpled smile. “Okay, okay. Got it.”
As promised, Chaeyoung stood up and lazily walked around the coworking space. Dahyun decided to try and finish her task since she really was just a couple of more words done and this article could be sent, then she could get back to her spreadsheets.
When she managed to hit save on the file, Chaeyoung sat down next to her and let out a breath. “All good. There’s even this cute girl studying anatomy at the back.” Chaeyoung peeked over the counter. “Maybe I can ask her to study my anatomy—”
Dahyun smacked her at the back of the head. “No flirting with my customers.”
Chaeyoung winced and rubbed her head gently. “Why not? Somi isn’t messaging me, and I know she’s busy, so I can have fun on my own.”
She rolled her eyes, she didn’t want to get into this again. “Are you guys even a thing? Have you made sure this one is single?”
Her friend simply shrugged, maybe Dahyun didn’t want to get into details anymore since she knew Chaeyoung liked her women with long, flowy hair, a vagina, and for some reason, were emotionally unavailable. But Dahyun knew it wasn’t really in her place to just demand her friend for a better lifestyle.
But this girl her friend had been seeing was probably the perfect recipe of a next heartbreak and Dahyun was worried it was going to break Chaeyoung. Maybe she could ask Nayeon her opinion on it. She always had wise things to say.
“Hey, so how’s your progress?” Chaeyoung suddenly asked, chewing on gum she just popped into her mouth. “Have you and Nayeon finally done something together?”
Dahyun twitched at the sudden tightness of her shorts and chuckled awkwardly, knowing very well what Chaeyoung was asking about. “U-uh… Just the phone sex so far, maybe a few flirty and suggestive messages here and there.”
Chaeyoung didn’t look impressed with the answer. “You’re not thinking of doing something special? Something that can get her off her knickers? I’m sure you have had enough practice to make sure you’re ready to bust your nut at the perfect time.”
“Do you really have to say that out loud?”
Her friend shrugged. “I don’t see the point of sugar coating it.”
Dahyun sighed. “Anyway, I believe I have enough practice,” then she pursed her lips. “I’m just… not confident about performing for her.”
“Oh right.” Chaeyoung then started thinking deeply, tapping on her chin with her pointer finger. “Okay, here’s another lesson for you, listen carefully.”
Chaeyoung’s ‘lesson’ seemed easy enough. Even if Dahyun knew deep down she was a nervous wreck that could possibly fuck it up. But she didn’t want her worries to overpower her thinking. This was for Nayeon. A beautiful woman who was kind, understanding, funny, incredible sexy and just absolutely amazing.
Nayeon deserved a lot of things. But for some reason, this perfect human being wanted to settle with someone like her. A nobody who had serious anxiety and who was capable of blowing her load earlier than expected.
God, she really hoped Chaeyoung’s advice worked. She already felt sore from all the jerking off and her thoughts of Nayeon weren’t helping either. But she felt confident about herself. Maybe tonight the universe would finally be on her side and it would turn out better than last time.
Dahyun asked Nayeon if they could have dinner at her apartment. They could have totally done this back at her own apartment, but Chaeyoung for some reason, made plans on the same night and called dibs on having the apartment to herself.
She had to admit, she felt a bit ashamed of asking Nayeon, since it wasn't her apartment, and it was her plans. It just didn’t feel right. But Nayeon insisted, obviously not taking no for an answer and immediately told Dahyun to meet her there instead since she might have a long day at the office again.
Which was perfect, because then Dahyun had time to make something romantic before Nayeon came home.
Dahyun wasn’t that great in planning or thinking outside the box, but she knew she couldn't go wrong with home cooked food and a bottle of wine.
She entered the apartment and once she managed to switch the lights on, she decided to clean up first before she started cooking, noticing how messy the place was. It wasn't a problem with her since she understood how much of Nayeon’s energy would be drained most of the time because of her job. Dahyun didn’t mind anyway. She loved doing the little things for her.
So after cleaning and not messing with what seemed to be Nayeon’s personal belongings, she started prepping their dinner. She remembered that Nayeon didn’t eat a lot at night, so something simple will suffice, knowing very well that Nayeon would rather spend the rest of the evening relaxing and talking over a glass full of wine.
It didn’t take long for Dahyun to finish, setting the table for the both of them, adding a few candles around the kitchen and making sure they were out of reach since Dahyun could be a major clutz when she was nervous. Because even after the months they had been seeing each other and already had done explicit and intimate things, she still felt nervous around Nayeon.
The door suddenly opened and it revealed Nayeon’s beautiful form, exhausted beyond compare, but the big smile she held just for her was enough to melt her heart.
“Hi,” Nayeon greeted as she let out a deep exhale, like she was holding her breath for a long time. “I was hoping to come home earlier, but things got hectic again.”
Dahyun rushed towards her, kissed her cheek and then grabbed her bag for her. “It’s fine, it gave me a lot of time to prepare dinner.” Then she awkwardly pointed around Nayeon’s living room. “I also cleaned up, if that’s alright.”
Nayeon freezed for a moment and took a good look around, then her eyes meet Dahyun in a soft gaze. “Babe, you didn’t have to.” She took a step closer to Dahyun and pressed a soft kiss on her lips. “But I really appreciate that, thank you.”
Relief washed through her chest, at least Nayeon didn’t mind, and she got something sweet as a reward too. Totally worth it, she thought to herself.
She gently took Nayeon’s hand and led her to the kitchen where their dinner was waiting, the older couldn’t help but stop and gush that Dahyun did all of this just for her. Nayeon even subtly threw in a few words about not deserving this kind of treatment and all that. But it was obvious that despite her insecurities, she loved everything about it.
As expected, Nayeon finished her small serving, appreciating that Dahyun didn’t make too much for the both of them and then drowned herself in conversations and wine.
It was a sight to see; because it took a lot in her to look at Nayeon intently without cutting her off with a kiss. And if Dahyun had to count the times she had to hold back from doing so, she would need more than two hands.
Nayeon was beautiful, the way her eyes show how tired she was but it also came to life when she was telling bits and pieces about her life. How she always admired her mom, how life without a father and taking care of her younger sister had made her the strong independent woman that she was now.
And the more she talked, the more she shared about her failed relationships, how she was able to get where she was at her job and about her lonely adulthood; Dahyun just looked at her as if she was the only woman in the world.
“You’re perfect.” The words easily escaped her mouth. Then her eyes widened, realizing that it was not in line with what Nayeon was saying and she slightly panicked, Nayeon might think she wasn’t listening to her.
“Perfect?” Nayeon asked instead, taking Dahyun’s half consumed wine glass and placing it on the coffee table along with her glass. Dahyun suddenly remembered they retreated to the sofa after cleaning up dinner. Then Nayeon’s hand landed softly on her arm, tracing the soft circles on it again. “Why do you think I’m perfect?”
That question made her blink, she tried to open her mouth, but she closed it in fear that she was going to let her jumbled up brain do the talking.
Nayeon squeezed her hand and smiled. “It’s okay, I’m listening.”
Dahyun’s heart was beating loudly through her chest suddenly, like thousands upon thousands of drums thunderously beating to the same rhythm of her fast paced heart.
“I’ve never met anyone like you—” Dahyun suddenly said, maybe vomiting words would help her escape the sounds of her mind and heart. “If I were any other person, I’d say that you’re just an ordinary person. But to me—” she gulped, trying to swallow the nervousness. “To me, you’re everything. You’re amazing. A part of me is trying hard to believe that you’re real because you are.”
Then Dahyun shook her head and then her hands, closing her eyes to get the waves in her brain to calm down. “What I’m trying to say is; from what I know of you so far, you believe that you’re too busy with work but you’re great at what you do, and you’re charming but a lot of people don't seem to think you’re not compatible with them.” She took in a deep breath and tried to formulate her next sentences properly. “But I think you’re perfect. I wouldn’t want you to change. I wouldn’t want you to do anything out of the ordinary for anyone else. Cause whatever you do now, it impresses me. Maybe I’m a bit too swooned by it because I just can’t help but feel… even more attracted to you.”
She watched Nayeon’s already rose tinted cheeks shift to a deeper color. Dahyun never had a way with words, because she knew she was horrible at them, but to her surprise, Nayeon hadn’t complained about it yet.
