"Minju-ah, you must take care of your younger siblings. I-I am going to join your father in the other world..." The last things Minju's mom said before jumping down the apartment, leaving her with her 3 younger siblings, one still being barely 2 years old.
Soon, Minju would find herself taking up different type of jobs to try and meet end's meet for her and her younger siblings. Often she had to skip meals to make sure her younger siblings would have a warm meal.
Minju's Pov
I cannot collapse, I cannot give up.
I need to stay strong, I need to persevere.
My parents are gone, but my siblings need me, I need to be there for them.
Those are the words Minju told herself everyday for the past few months...

"Y/n, there's another blind date this weekend. Don't forget about that!" His mom said, having arranged another blind date with one of her social club's friend's daughters.
Y/n sighed as he went back up to his room. He had no intention to get married, at least to one of those spoiled rich daughters.
And he entered his room, he continued doing his work before sleeping on the table, this was just his daily routine, being engrossed in his work.
As the weekend arrived, Y/n dressed up for the blind date, he will just go to eat dinner with the girl and then go home.
As he enters the restaurant, the girl was already waiting for him and he went over to her table, sitting opposite her.
They exchanged greetings and their names, they ordered some steak for dinner and talked alittle while waiting for their food.
Clang
A plate holding a steak dropped on the ground and the plate was broken. Y/n who was enjoying his meal, looked over to the commotion.
He saw a girl who was looking down and in tears. The manager was scolding her Infront of everyone.
"I-Im sorry. Please give me one more chance!" The girl pleaded desperately.
"Yah! Kim Minju. This happened so many times already. You are fired!" The manager shouted before entering the kitchen.
Minju slowly walked out of the kitchen, trying to control her tears. Y/n watched the entire scene unfold and felt sorry for the girl.
After Y/n and his date finished the meal, they walked out and his date wanna switch numbers. "Umm, I'm sorry. But I don't have any intentions to date or get married. Sorry." Y/n explained. His date got angry and slap him on the cheeks before leaving. "Then why did you come here tonight! Wasting my time!"
Y/n sighed in frustration. As he walked home, he saw a street stall selling some snacks and food and decided to go and have some spicy tteobboki to relieve some frustration.
"One serving of tteobboki and fiscakes please!" He said to the vendor. The place was empty but besides. him, sat Minju with her 3 younger siblings, the youngest being fed with a milk bottle and being held in Minju's embrace while the other 2 younger siblings were sharing a serving of tteobboki.
"Noona!! We are still very hungry... We haven't ate dinner yet, can we order one more serving?." Her 2 younger brothers requested, with pitiful eyes.
Minju sighed and said, "I just lost my job earlier... We might have to skip some meals. Im sorry... I will try to find another job as soon as possible. But for now, please bear with it okay? I haven't eaten the entire day yet. Let's just eat some instant noodles when we go home okay?"
Her 2 younger siblings looked down and started crying. While the youngest sibling, Minju's baby sister was in her embrace, enjoying her milk.
Y/n's bowl soon arrived and the 2 younger boys looked, wowing as they stared at the hot tteobboki. Y/n saw their reaction, and ordered 2 more servings.
Then he pushed the bowl towards the younger boys and asked them to eat. "Can we really eat this?" Y/n nodded to the boys' question.
The boys cheered as they quickly helped themselves to the food. Minju quickly thanked Y/n.
