“Happy Birthday!” The crowd cheered for him
Y/n smiled and blew the candles.
He’s been looking at the door and waited for a knock.
But there never came a knock.
After all the celebrations, Y/n hugged his parents, thanking them.
Then there was a knock on the door.
“I will get the door.” Y/n hurriedly went to open the door.
“Happy birthday Y/n!”
Y/n excitement dropped.
“We cooked you some food, here!.”
Y/n took over the bag and put up a small smile. “Thank you, Mr and Mrs Baek.”
“Ah, I reminded Jiheon today’s your birthday but I don’t know where is she. Maybe she has something to do.” Mrs Baek explained.
“It’s okay, I understand.” Y/n tried to force a smile.
“Thanks for the food!” He thanked them once again.
Once they left, Y/n put down the food on the table and sighed.
He went back to his room and sighed.
He checked his phone and still no message from Jiheon.
After a long period of staring at the phone. Wanting to clear his mind, he decided to go out and play some basketball.
He started doing some lay ups, and it reminded of his time with Jiheon.

“Stop! You are bullying me.” Jiheon pouted.
Y/n smirked and continued dribbling the ball. “How?”
“You are taking advantage of your tall height.” Jiheon complained.
“Of course, I’m taller than you.” Y/n teased.
Jiheon then asked, “Well, I just spent some time playing basketball with you. Can you tell me what’s your birthday wish now?”
