A few days have passed since you met with the dean about the sudden assignment of being the official photographer for the upcoming university festival, and you still haven't decided if you're going to accept it or not.
Was it Guilt that's making you hesitate, or just you being a coward....
Or it could've been both. But it was starting to eat at you from the inside, and your friend was starting to notice it.
You and your friend are currently eating in the University cafeteria when he keeps noticing you spacing out, which is starting to annoy him, but he is also concerned about you.
"Y/n seriously, if you don't want to do it, then just say no bro..." He said while munching on his burger, "Letting it stress you will just make it worse for you, I swear.... It's literally easier to answer yes or no than sitting here spacing out like you always see a ghost or something," he said, looking at you with concerned eyes.
"I know," you said, looking at your food, which is still untouched. "Knowing what to do doesn't make it easier, you know," you added, which made your friend look at you with sympathetic eyes.
"Then you're just nothing but a coward, Y/n," he said, making you surprised at his sudden bluntness.
"Y/n, I won't dig deeper into what happened to you two years ago, but at the end of the day. You can't hide it from it forever, nor act like your era of being a celebrity never existed." Your friend said while standing up.
"Be a man, Y/n, and face it, and I promise your life will be less suffocating than what you're feeling right now," he said, smiling at you but at the same time leaving you alone.
Hearing these words from your friend finally made you have some backbone...
"I guess it's finally time to meet you all again."

More days went by, and, fortunately or unfortunately for you, things have become more hectic for you.
After accepting the role of official Photographer for this event, the Dean, with all his wisdom, also assigned you to manage the other photographers working behind the scenes to ensure that all interactions, performances, and other aspects related to the idols performing at that festival are properly recorded.

Anyway, back to the story lol
Currently, you're in the stage, along with other photographers, discussing where to set the cameras and which spots to have the best angles.
And luckily or unlucky for you, some of the groups are already in the university for the rehearsals.
But being a cowa-or rather to avoid unnecessary drama, you decided to just wear a facemask and a cap while taking photos of them.
For the first group, it was Loona who performed three songs, and as usual, Chuu still radiates the same bright and positive energy you knew back then. The next group was GIDLE, with Yuqi still showing how cool she really is. The next group, however, was Fromis_9.
While you were taking photos of them, you noticed Jiheon kept looking at you, and for some reason, it gave you chills since you thought she knew that it was you, but at the same time, you had a job to do, so you had to stay.
"Come on, Y/n. Stop shaking, you wanted to do this, remember???" You told yourself to try to keep your composure.
After Fromis_9 rehearsal, you were about to leave the stage area when suddenly you heard a familiar voice call you out...
"Uhm- Excuse me? Hi!" Jiheon said with a hint of nervousness and curiosity in her voice. You turned around to face her. She approaches you, clearly nervous, "I'm sorry, but have we met before? I feel like you are familiar," She said, eager for your answer.
Hearing her question, you had no chance but to remove your facemask and cap, which made Jiheon shocked.
"It's been 2 years, Jiheon... Hi," you said, clearly nervous about what was about to happen next.
But what you felt next was a tight hug from Jiheon.
"Oppaa!!!, It's been so long!!! Do you know how concerned we were for you.... why did you suddenly disappear?!!!!" Jiheon said, tears forming in her eyes, which made you look at her apologetically.
"I'm so sorry, Jiheon.. but it was the right choice-" you reasoned, but Jiheon placed her finger to your sleep.
"Oppa, save your explanation for her," she said, making you nervous cuz you clearly know who she was referring to.
Jiheon then broke the hug and turned around. "You know, Oppa, she never stopped thinking about you," she said, making you more guilty.
"Is that so..." you said, filled with regret, but she continued, " I hope you show yourself to her... since she deserves it and you owe it to her to give her closure or a new beginning." Jiheon finally walked away from you but turned around once more.
"But at the same time, Oppa, I'm happy to see that you're doing okay!!!" Jiheon said with her signature smile that made you instinctively smile too.
"I promise I will talk to her when I get the chance as soon as possible," You said, making Jiheon smile as she walked away.

Meanwhile
In one of the backstage rooms, Minju was preparing for the rehearsals with the rest of her members, with some of them bickering about random stuff, while Eunbi, being a responsible leader that she is, was currently making them fall in line.
While making their way to the stage, she accidentally heard two staff members of some sort talking about how great their current director is of some sort.
And that was the moment she found a glimmer of hope.
"Y/n is the deal, man, his directions are spot on," one of the staff said, making her instinctively look at her.
"It's just someone who has the same as him??? It can't be him, right?"
"Well, he was a former celebrity, so he definitely knows his stuff, " the other staff said, and that was the moment Minju rushed to the two of them with her members shocked at her sudden action.
"YA MINJU, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET BACK HERE!!!" Eunbi shouted, but Minju ignored it.
As she made her way to the two staff members talking, she suddenly appeared out of nowhere to ask them about the guy they were talking about, making the two staff members gasp in surprise.
"You two.... are you guys talking about Y/n L/n the former celebrity?" She asked with a hint of desperation that made the two staff tremble for some reason.
"Well, uh- we really can't say ma'am, our Dean specifically asked us not to-" one of the staff members was explaining when Minju cuts him off," So he's here?????" She asked, but this time, Minju started running away, not even waiting for the confirmation.
"Minju wa-!!!" Hyewon shouted, but Minju was already gone before she could even finish her sentence.

Minju is now running around the University Premises trying to find you, searching every possible place, building, and anything within the University grounds, and she ended up in a University garden of some sort.
But sadly, she still couldn't find you.
And it finally broke her... these two years have been so much for her...
You suddenly vanishing and now her group disbanding in the future finally took a toll on her. She cried and screamed, finally letting go of all the feelings she had kept inside.
The frustrations
The Pain
The sadness
The anger
All of it, she finally let out.
When suddenly she heard a familiar voice, she hadn't heard it for a long time.
The one she has longed for all these years
"Minju?"
She turned around,
And there you are, finally standing right in front of her....
Minju immediately runs towards you, tears still pouring from her eyes, with you doing the same thing.
As you were near her, you tried to say, " I'm sorry when suddenly.
You felt a hand hit your face.
SLAP
You felt a painful sensation on your right cheek, but that didn't bother you one bit.
"I know I deserved that one," you said, as Minju repeatedly hit your chest while you hugged her.
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT HURT WHEN YOU LEFT ME 2 YEARS AGO? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT HURTS THAT EVERYTHING I LOVE IS BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM ME?" She screamed as she stopped hitting you and hugged you.
"I'm sorry Minju... I really do" You said, deepening the hug. "I'm a coward, and I just wanted to save all of you from the trouble of being associated with me, that's why I left..." You said making Minju look at you with sympathetic eyes....
"I would've run away with you if you just asked me," Minju said, while you shake your head in disapproval.
"I know how hard you worked to be in the position you are as an idol. Do you think I would've allowed it all to go to waste because of me?" You said.
"But it was the choice I'm willing to make because I love you that much," She said
"And I still love you that much," she said, making you feel all sorts of things you never felt before....
"So please Y/n... never leave me again....."
"Can you be mine again?"
She asked you, tears falling in her eyes... begging you to answer it....
"Yes...Minju...and Ill promise ill never leave you again" You said as you pulled her to a kiss that acted as a seal of promise.
A promise that regardless of what happens now
