Introduction to Photocards

As the system changes, grows more complicated, and suffers from misinformation, consider this an attempt to clear up any questions about the photocard system and its many quirks.

I aim to make this as comprehensive as possible and update the information as things change. I will also add additional information based on any questions you have.

So let’s get started with photocards, from the very basics.

Photocards are, quite simply, a reward for engaging with the site in its intended purpose: writing and reading.

At the time of writing, photocards currently exist for all girl group idols, where the group has at least 5 stories/chapters/parts from 5 unique authors.

Anyway… Once the above requirement is met, a tree house is spawned, and with it, a base set of photocards for each member of the group. 

Mentioning base cards leads me to… Card rarity!

When I say base cards, I am referring to those featured in the ‘1st edition’ and ‘2nd edition’ categories in the Gallery.

That is any card of the Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic variety.

Okay, so we have our base cards, and I hear the shouting… What about all those shiny ethereal ones and those celestial ones that I can’t seem to get?!

That’s where limited collections come into play:

From right to left in the above image, we have Legendary, Ethereal, Cosmic, and below we have Secret and Celestial

(Note: the numbers suffixed to idol names on the card do not hold meaning; they are simply to differentiate and may not be in any sort of ‘order’)

Now, why did you just list everything from right to left…? Well, because I wanted to subliminally tell you about the increasing rarity!

So I shall clarify: rarity proceeds in the following order:

Common
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
Ethereal
Cosmic

And then, in their own plane of existence: Secret and Celestial
Why? All will be revealed in good time…
