Minji came to the Switzerland for a vacation and there, she met Jaejun.
Switzerland is one of the countries that people in social media are dreaming to visit and explore. Jaejun was proud of this country, more than South Korea where he was born. He came here when he was a kid. So curious about the life in another country. His father is Swiss person by the way.
His mother works as a tourist guide back in the days and the rest is history.
This place is popular for one of the cleanest cities, clean river and the buildings here more into traditional style than modern bland ones back in South Korea.
Here in Lucerne, He and his parents operates a guesthouse for the tourists who visit here. Most of them are fellow Koreans. The meals is a fusion of Sweden and Korea. It's a testament of his parents love.
Enough of the introductions and right now, A pretty girl is in front of him. Writing the form that the visitors need to fill their personal information. Nothing is privacy risk, it is necessary just in case something happened to them.
She seems so familiar yet he couldn't remember who she is, not until she hands him the filled form back.
"So... Kim Minji, right?" He remembered something that he saw online before. A fancam clip but couldn't remember what it is all about.
The girl nodded. "Yes, that's me."
"Okay, so... Our available rooms right now is the four person room and one person room. What do you prefer, Ms. Kim?"
"I like to take that one person room. And please, Call me Minji. You looked like same age as me."
He folded the form neatly then tucked it into the the drawer. He grabbed the room key. "Do you need help with that? Your bag looks heavy."
Minji shakes her head. "No. It's fine. Lead the way please."
Jaejun nodded and walked toward to the one person room. He pushed the door open and shows the neat appearance of a room. White satin bed sheet, paired with blue blanket. White curtains covered the two large windows that shows the beauty of the country. There's a personal bathroom attached on the west side of the room.
"Here's your room, Minji. At lunch, we will have Sundubu-jjigae and Rösti. A potato pancake. At Dinner, it's Bulgogi and cherry cake as dessert. Curfew is 10 pm until 4 am. In case you need something, call me down at the lobby."
"Noted. Thanks for leading me here." She placed the bag down on the floor then sat down on the bed.
He was going to exit the room to give her privacy but then she called him. "Wait! I didn't even know your name yet."
"Ahh.. I forgot. I'm Jaejun."
Minji's eyes widen in surprise. "Wait.. You're Korean?"
"Yeah, I am half-Korean. My parents owned this guesthouse."
"Wow... It's so nice to meet a Korean here. I hope you're not those knetizens." Minji's voice lowered at the last few words.
"Pardon?"
"Oh! No.. Nothing. I was just glad I met a Korean here." Minji smiled but he saw something hidden behind that smile. Jaejun nodded as he exited the room, closing the door shut.
As soon as the door is shut. Minji plopped down on the bed. "Phew... That was close."
Minji stared at the ceiling and closed her eyes. She let ears picked up a sound of a children running and giggling outside, elderly people laughing about something, birds chirping and faint noise of music.
"This is so peaceful... unlike back home."
