This is exactly one of the issues I have with the incognito mode as well as the not disclosing who is a mod. Someone with the incognito tag of Humble Deneb is responding to a thought I posted, keeping their identity hidden, while also being someone I blocked that shouldn’t be able to interact with my posts. I understand mods need to be able to moderate the community and they can’t if they can’t see hideous shit done by someone that blocked them, but this is egregious. We don’t know who the mods are. I blocked whoever Humble Deneb is because I don’t want that person interacting with me as a person, not as a mod. Using the incognito mode to circumvent my desire for them to not interact with me AND keeping themselves hidden is not the kind of behavior a moderator, a paragon of the community, should be exhibiting on this site, and is definitely not a valid use of incognito mode.
