LOONA’s 8th Debut Anniversary Challenge

Theme: Lore and World Building

LOONA’s turning 8th this year and to celebrate I’m opening up a challenge for everyone. While all TWELVE Girls of the Month are now doing their own thing—searching for what makes them happy after years of injustices, they still consider themselves LOONA.

One of the defining aspects to the group is their lore. It’s vast, extremely detailed, and well documented. Orbits have been writing stories about them the moment Heejin created the LOONAVERSE. They’re meant to be written—practically an ever expanding universe of lore to be found.

I share this challenge to you, dear writer. Would you lend your skills to write our girls?

Here are the rules:

• A LOONA member/s (Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, Vivi, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Gowon, and/or Hyeju) should be a main character of the story but you are free to pair or include other idols from other groups!

• You can write any genre: Smut, Fluff, Angst, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Romance, Poem, Blog, etc. Just be sure to follow Fanprose’s content guidelines.

• Absolutely no AI-Generated Content.

• No word-count requirements but at least make sure it’s a complete story.

• The piece must be written specifically for this challenge.

• To follow the theme you must be able to use any of these words (feel free to only use one or mix and match as many as you want) as either the central or overarching theme for your fic:

  • Moon

  • Calendar

  • Colors

  • Orbit

  • Satellite

  • Eden

  • Space

  • Universe

  • Day/Night

  • Ouroboros

  • Infinity

  • God/s

• To keep it fun and rewarding, I will be polling all or a shortlist of your entries and will be rewarding THREE winners with either Fanprose+, Any summer poca from my inventory, or a Steam game of your choosing that costs $20 or below.
